Petronella is an amazing wedding and portrait photographer. Booking her came at a premium but I value memories so I'm ok with paying for it. As a self employed client I thoroughly enjoyed her business practice and how patient she was with us. ...

When we received our photos back we were blown away. My mom even wants an album to also treasure. Can't go wrong with Petronella! I'll be referring her to all our friends and family. If you're cheap and don't value nice things, please don't waste your time our hers.

BEWARE. My fiancé used Petronella for engagement photos through the Heartandbandits. We were contacted with a sales email after immediately trying to up sell for a “customization” package. The details were not explained and we declined as it wa...

s ridiculously expensive. I received a “teaser” of 2 photos a week later and one was in black & white. I didn’t say anything about the black & white as every photographer I’ve ever worked with gave me proofs prior to issuing all photos and would ask my preference. I assumed the photos would be sent in color and black and white since she did not ask. We were sent all of the photos 2 weeks later with a quarter of them in black and white. I contacted Petronella to receive the B&W photos in color and was told I needed to pay an additional $25 per photo to get a picture that was ALREADY TAKEN in color IN ADDITION TO the absurd fee my fiancé already paid. I even offered to “split the difference” and pay half of the $25 per photo with her as $25 per photo was outrageous and she insisted on the full amount. They play on people’s emotions as they’re once in a lifetime photos and hold them hostage at a hefty price. Would NOT recommend to anyone.

aken, but declined paying for a proposed custom service solution. She later emailed that she was ok proceeding with the studio standard process. 2. Marissa emailed to request that all images be edited & delivered ASAP but declined paying to get RUSH service. As a courtesy, we emailed 2 edited images, 2 days after her event. 3. We delivered all images 20 days ahead of the communicated due date & delivered 30% more images. 4. A few times, Marissa emailed to say she loved all the photos & downloaded ALL the photos several times. 5. Marissa used one of the B&W photos for her profile photo. She later emailed to share that she hates B&W photos & wants all the B&W photos re-edited in color + the digital files for FREE because she was unhappy & deserved to be taken care of until satisfied. 6. We spoke on the phone & I offered a few solutions, which Marissa declined. I genuinely wish Marissa + Rob all the love & blessings.
