I hired PFerg Paint to paint my wedding ceremony. He made me pay in full, almost $1,000, and then didn't show up for me wedding. He didn't contact me, or the wedding venue to let us know he wasn't planning on coming. I was utterly heartbroken walking down the aisle and noticing that he wasn't there to paint my wedding ceremony. I had told all of my wedding guests about the live painter, and everyone was so excited. Also the photographer was planning on taking photos every 15 minutes of the progress of the painting as well. I have never encountered a business that is so unprofessional. It was my wedding, I only plan on getting married once. To make matters worse I actually called him the day before the wedding to double check that he was still coming to the wedding, and he said he was. Choose someone else if you want an event live painted. He will disappoint you badly. After the wedding he promised to give me a full refund, it's almost a month later, and still no refund. Its disgusting to take payment for a service, no show/no contact, and not give a refund.

Hired by my maid of honor as our wedding present- leading up to the wedding, communication was a little odd with me really needing to prompt him for details on his plan for the day. Now I see why…. He did not show up. No communication provided, just no-showed. Now we see that this is a pattern.

Stay Away!!! Artist did not show up to my wedding without any notice. I was heartbroken because I was so excited to have a portrait of our wedding… I had to eventually threaten legal action in order for them to issue a timely refund.

Do NOT hire Phil, there are plenty of other artists who are much more reliable and are certainly a better option. My husband and I were told that we would get our painting back 3 weeks after our wedding- it has been 3 MONTHS and Phil has not managed to get our painting to us. The amount of time that I have wasted trying to track down our artwork (that we have already paid for in full) has been immense, and I wish I could go back in time and hire a different artist. He has continuously pushed back the delivery date (7 times and counting) and every time he pushes it, he states that he is waiting for the paint to dry- all the while I have had 3 friends who have gotten oil paintings done by a different artist after my wedding and have received their pieces within a month of their weddings- it is an insult to our intelligence. If you value your time and want some peace of mind with a vendor who will follow through for your event, look elsewhere.

STAY AWAY! Wish I'd checked this facebook page before hiring him. He took my money and never showed up to my wedding -- just like he's done with several people below. Not a reliable guy.
