PGP Wedding Films is an absolute must have for your wedding. John is an incredible person to work with and just a kind person all around. My husband and I had so much fun working with him for our engagement film and our wedding film. He made sure to capture all the most important moments and even took drone footage of our lakeside location to capture all the natural beauty. And to top off his excellent videography and people skills, the videos he compiled for us were BREATHTAKING. We love looking back on our special day and are looking forward to having John capture our reception as well.

John did an absolutely outstanding job on our wedding video - my husband and I both sobbed upon watching it for the first time! So gorgeous, so personal, so us. John and his co-shooter were both wonderful to work with and even had a preview video for us ready by the time we sat down to eat! We were blown away. Cannot recommend PGP enough!

John was wonderful to work with from the beginning! From the first phone call he was clearly knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and personable. On the day of our wedding, he and Roxanne were relaxed and professional. Every important moment was beautifully captured, but more than that there were so many little gestures of love or side glances and they managed to catch those too! While we were still at our reception, John even had a sneak peek video ready for us! It was so exciting to see a glimpse from earlier in the day and made us look forward even more to the final video. And it could not be more PERFECT. John’s storytelling ability is unmatched and the way he merged our individual retellings together into one piece is spectacular. Next time someone asks how we met I’m showing them our video because it tells our story better than I ever have by myself. I love the video so much every time I show someone, I want to watch their reactions, but I just end up watching the video again because it is that captivating! I’ve loved working with John and highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone who truly cares about making the best keepsake of your day possible.

John and Amanda were amazing. They captured so many moments that just make us smile! We have not stopped watching our one minute sneak peek video. We are obsessed with the work and we haven’t even gotten the full video yet! Our wedding was Sept 26, and it was perfect. We are thankful to John and Amanda for capturing all the perfect moments!

John captured our wedding absolutely beautifully, without being intrusive at all. He has an incredible eye and talent for editing, and all the cuts we received are fabulous!

I don't think I could even come close to describing how thankful I am to have met John as our wedding videographer. When first meeting with John I was nervous and didn't know what to expect out of a videographer, but he quickly eased all of my fears. I was most impressed with how real John was during our first sit down meeting which allowed us to get to know one another prior to the wedding (which I think is super important). I never once felt like it was awkward or weird and soon into the meeting it was like we had been friends for years because he was very easy going. The most memorable thing that made me want to book right away, was John's importance of catching the most memorable parts of the wedding night because of his own personal experience with not having a credible videographer. John was very adamant that what he and his wife experienced on their wedding day would not happen to any other wedding couple. Fast forward to the wedding day and everything went so smoothly. John was sure to show up with a smile on his face, and made shooting natural and not uncomfortable. I was also impressed that his assistant was a female so they could split up and catch both parties getting ready. By the end of the night, John had a special surprise for us....a wedding video preview that was phenomenal! He is so talented at what he does and his videos truly show how much time and dedication he puts into catching every little detail. So if anyone is looking for a great videographer who is also super kind...John is your man! I will surely be recommending him to all of my friends and family!

When planning my wedding, I originally was not going to have a videographer, but that changed when I met John at Thousand Acre Farms bridal expo. After meeting him and seeing examples of his work I decided that I needed to hire him. I recommend him to anyone looking for someone to capture their most special day! He is so nice, professional and FAST! We had a teaser by midnight and our highlight video less than a month later and can’t want to get our full video back! Both the teaser and highlight film had me in pure tears of joy. What he captures and how he creates his videos are absolutely beautiful! If you want to relive you’re most special day over and over....pure genius is the way to go!

We can’t recommend Pure Genius highly enough. John was one of the easiest vendors to work with through our planning process. He only needed on quick meeting with us before the day. He listened to and executed all of our needs leaving nothing behind. The day of, it seemed like he and his assistant were barely there. Minimal direction, and they were never in the way, but still came up with so much great footage. We couldn’t believe the turnaround time! We even had a “trailer” before we went to bed. The webpage he puts together to organize the videos for our friends and family is so helpful. Using Pure Genius for our wedding video was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!

John was an absolutely amazing videographer, who truly created a treasure for us to remember the most special day of our lives. He went above and beyond to meet our needs (even desires and preferences we didn't know we had!), and was punctual, detail oriented, creative, and focused. My husband and I can't thank him enough for capturing our day and giving us an incredible memory that we will be able to share with family and friends for years to come.

Pure Genius Pictures did an excellent job capturing all the special moments on our wedding day. We originally weren’t planning to have a videographer, but decided it would be nice to reflect back and we are so incredibly thankful and lucky to have picked Pure Genius Pictures! They have absolute professionalism, attentiveness and quick response when we had questions! Not to mention the day of the wedding they were on their a game with lots of energy, enthusiasm and wasted no time in capturing all our moments. Additionally our videographer was personable, easy to have around, and worked seamlessly with our photographer (whom he had never met). Not to mention we did unfortunately have a huge blunder at our wedding, the DJ played the wrong song for the father daughter dance! Not missing a beat John noticed I was dancing but that something was clearly wrong. He checked in with me and when I told him what had happened, John assured me he could edit in the right song on our video! When making our video he reached out to me (because I had forgotten) to ensure that he was using the correct song for the father daughter dance! While this might not seem like a big deal, he went was above and beyond to make sure our wedding video was perfect. I highly recommend using Pure Genius they are creative and have the ability to capture the ‘feeling’ of the day, which is truly unbelievable and having the video gives you the chance to relive that day. Using them is an absolute must in our opinion!

Booking Pure Genius Pictures to shoot my wedding was one of the single best decisions I made while planning. John was incredibly responsive to my requests, and was endlessly professional and accommodating over the months leading up to the event. He arrived early on the day of and worked perfectly alongside my photographer late into the evening. But the most amazing part was waking up the next morning to find that John had already cut together a 60-second preview video I could share with family who had been unable to attend! I know they appreciated that. Initially, I had only requested footage of the ceremony and speeches, but John assured me that a highlight video would help put the whole event into perspective—AND HE WAS SO RIGHT!! Having a little, tiny time capsule of the day is so cool and it’s something I know I will cherish alongside the ceremony and speeches (who knew my dad would bring his guitar and do a sing-along??) I am so, so happy with everything John created and emphatically recommend his work to anyone who’s even the slightest bit interested in booking a wedding videographer. You will not regret it, trust me!

Shelby Piovoso and I used PGPWeddings for our ceremony on June 24th 2018. John was timely, friendly, professional, and all around just helped to enhance the whole wedding experience. We LOVED the videos he shot for us and would recommend him to absolutely anyone.

I'll be honest: I didn't think I wanted a wedding video. But John was fantastic and I'm so glad we did this. He was so kind, warm, and easy to work with, and once the wedding got underway, I didn't even notice he was there filming (in a good way). Now that we have the final video, my family and I just can't stop watching it. (My grandma, who couldn't be at the wedding, literally watched it 15 times in a row.) ABSOLUETLY AMAZING!!!! John and Justin were absolutely amazing!!! Justin was very helpful and supportive during the entire day, especially with helping the guys during the getting ready photos. John was wonderful and had so many wonderful ideas for me and my girls during our getting ready photos. He provided us with so many great ideas, advice, and support. John was so incredibly kinds and made us all feel very comfortable the entire day. He is a truly great guy, and he genuinely seems like he enjoyed being there at our wedding with us. Everywhere me and my fiancé turned around he was there capturing every wonderful, romantic moment. John even made us a teaser trailer during the reception that we were able to watch right after we cut the cake! It was soooo incredibly amazing! John is so talented and we were truly lucky to be able to utilize his services. He sent us the full video along with the highlight reel about two months after the wedding. The video was about 1hr and 15mins long! It was soooo amazing, and showed every important detail of the night! They captured so many amazing memories, and I will forever cherish that video! We decided fairly last minute to have a videographer for our wedding day, and it was the best decision we made! John did a fantastic job and was able to capture so many amazing moments and memories that we will always cherish. I originally thought that having beautiful photos was enough to capture the day, but the video truly adds so much more dimension and life and is able to bring you right back to the day. John is amazing! He is so easy to work with and works with you every step of the way. He was standing on chairs crouching down and just working so hard to capture every moment. I was unsure if I wanted a videographer and I can honestly say it is my favorite thing I have purchased for the wedding. These are moments you can see in pictures but now I get to HEAR our vows again. I HIGHLY recommend John!!!! My sneak peak and highlight films had me in tears. From the time I contacted John after being recommended by my wedding photographer, I knew I was going to be happy! My husband and I have been married a few months now and are still blown away how well John and Wendell were able to capture our day. From the initial email up to days before the wedding to nail down final questions or details he was super helpful. They traveled from DE to South Jersey for my wedding too. With a hectic morning I got back to my house from the salon a little later than planned and John was already there with my bridesmaids filming details that I didn't catch at the time. I didn't have to worry at all! His assistant got great moments of the guys getting ready over at the groom's house too. The attention to detail was awesome, my little old dog who means the world to me even got a few seconds of screen time when John filmed a little outside around my house lol! Before the ceremony my groom and I did a different take on the first look…we talked a little & got a few pics without actually seeing one another and you can see all our emotions from excitement to nerves so I loved that John captured this which I didn't know he did! The filming went so smoothly so for anyone who might feel weird having videographers film all day (how I thought I'd feel) it was a great experience…I really didn't even realize they were there. John was so welcoming that morning and checked in a few times, but it was so awesome how well they captured the day with my husband and I barely even seeing them! We got to see our highlight film on YouTube which we loved and could share with friends/family who want to see but might not necessarily want the whole film. We were so excited to watch our Wedding Film when we got it and it was perfect! It had all the special moments, things I didn't even realize that day with so much going on and included little moments I'll never forget! Pure Genius is talented, especially in piecing together all of the dancing and parts of the night it was so fun to watch. It will be a keepsake to share for years. If you want someone who cares about the details, is affordable, super talented, and really cares about you as the bride/groom I would recommend using John for your wedding day!

If you are looking for a great photographer in the area and are reading this review, allow me to tell you the experience I had with John at Pure Genius Pictures as my wedding videographer. Our first meeting to discuss the package was held at a local coffee shop where John was able to answer all the question I had and work with my husband (then Fiancé) and I to come up with a nice package that was not only within our budget but include all the features we had wanted. Follow the months to the wedding, John had continued to followed up with me on the details of the wedding and managed to get us a second photographer during ceremony so that we would have footages with different angles as well as on the guests. On the wedding day, John was able to work with all the different venders of the wedding to record priceless footages that I was too nervous to notice during the wedding. After the wedding, John had taken appropriate time and care to edit and make trailer version that works like a MTV video ; short version that shows details of important moments and long version of the footages that shows all the priceless moments that we weren't paying attention to during the wedding. He even took the time to creat translated captions of my father's speech (my father did not speak English). He also provided 2 copies of regular DVD as well as 2 copies of Blue-Ray DVDs. When I showed the video to my father, he said he felt like he was watching a movie. Yes, it was that great! More over, from our interaction with John, we could feel how sincere he is as a person. If you are looking for a talented videographer with excellent skills as well as honest qualities, definitely go with John at Pure Genius Pictures.

When we first started to plan our son’s wedding we were very hesitant about hiring a videographer. Our two concerns were cost and the intrusiveness of having a videographer at the ceremony. However, hiring John to be the videographer was the BEST wedding-planning decision we made. His finished work is worth every penny (and more!) and he was not at all intrusive. When we saw the finished product we were shocked at the intimacy and detail he captured even though we barely noticed his presence at the ceremony or the reception. Our son and his bride wanted their wedding ceremony to be very honoring to God and a joyful testimony to God’s love and grace. We thought a videographer might be a distraction to the message, but the opposite was true. Without being intrusive at all John was able to capture the very essence of the wedding in both the full video and the trailer. His eye for important events (even unplanned ones) totally amazed and blessed us all. So now, through John’s work, we can all relive the blessing and power of the ceremony and can share it with those who were unable to attend. The reception was a joyous celebration of love and commitment and John’s work enables us to remember and cherish each moment (even the ones we missed as individuals). Somehow, he managed to take photos of everything that happened at the reception, yet I only remember seeing him once! John has an uncanny ability to anticipate and capture meaningful moments. His stills and videos continue to make us laugh, sigh and cry for he has provided a visual library of memories that allows us to relive this marvelous day over and over again. His eye for capturing people’s personalities and their interactions with others is uncanny. Although our guests were strangers to him, John caught them in acts of being very much themselves and our hearts are warmed each time we watch the video. The icing on the cake was the music John chose to accompany the trailer. We are a classical music family and John’s choice of music was exceptional. It was playful, romantic, serious and climactic. Each time we watch the trailer we marvel at his ability to tie together the moments, the people, the feelings and the very essence of the day with the musical score! What a blessing. It always fills us with joy!! If you are hesitant about hiring a videographer, please reconsider. I am so very thankful for the precious gift of preserved memories that John has given us. It is irreplaceable.

Hiring John to be the videographer for our wedding was basically a no-brainer-- we loved his work from the outset and knew he would do an incredible job of documenting our special day. Little did we know, however, that our already high expectations would be surpassed! John was extremely professional and somehow managed to unobtrusively float around us the whole time he was working, enabling us (as well as our family and guests!) to simply enjoy every moment of our wedding without feeling as if we were on a film set. As for the video itself, we couldn't have possibly imagined a better memento with which to relive the magic of that momentous day-- everything from the footage to the editing to the choice of background music (and the way in which the music was overlaid) was impeccable, and encapsulated perfectly not only the atmosphere and tone of the day, but also who we are as a couple. We were especially impressed by John's keen perception with regard to all the little details he worked into the making of our wedding video-- he never badgered us for any requests following the wedding, yet all the little 'clues' he had picked up during the wedding (e.g. our taste in music, the dynamic between us, the dynamic among the guests, etc.) all contributed to him producing something that was just as uniquely 'us' as it was uniquely 'John'. What a wonderful gift to us as well as to all our loved ones who live far away and couldn't make it to our special day! We would definitely recommend Pure Genius Pictures to any couple looking to record the most important day of their lives for posterity!!
