Valerie understands the importance of building a trusting relationship before your wedding, so each package of 8 hours or more coverage includes a complimentary engagement session. If you’re feeling camera-shy, Valerie will guide you through the photo session and poses, creating a mix of posed and candid snaps for your wedding album. Wedding packages also include a wedding questionnaire, editing, and the option of prints and a second photographer so you don’t miss a single moment of your day. I'm a full-time grad student who enjoys capturing the laughter and love between those you hold dearly. Frilly coffee, happy hour, and dogs are the way to my heart! I also work at a hospital, a bar in the Short North, and am serving in the Air Force. I enjoy getting to know my clients, making them feel confident and beautiful, and giving them something to always look back to and smile. I want everyone to be able to fill their homes with vibrant photographs and reminisce on the best days. I can’t wait to meet you guys and capture your greatest memories!

Val captured the moments of our wedding beautifully. She was a pleasure to work with from our initial meeting to the final delivery of photos. She was very personable, making us feel completely at ease throughout the entire day. She made a point to capture photos similar to our inspiration photos, and she made it a priority to get photos at all the places we wanted, both for our first look and at our venue. For two people who are not necessarily comfortable in front of the camera, she gave great direction and made us feel confident. Everyone in my wedding party raved about how efficient Val was. She made the experience fun and made everyone feel comfortable. We highly recommend Val to anyone seeking a talented photographer who will beautifully document their most cherished moments!

Val did a fantastic job at our wedding. She was adaptable with changing plans and weather conditions, was efficient and professional in making sure all family photos were done in a timely manner, and she captured some really great shots. We did both our engagement photos and wedding photos with Val and were really happy with her work on both. On our wedding day my wife and I were running around in a daze. Val was very cool, calm, collected, and got all the photos we needed done. We appreciate her!

Val was so amazing. I seriously can’t say enough good things about her and the way she helps you capture such beautiful memories during your wedding. She even stood out in the pouring rain for us in order to get the best pictures. Val did an amazing job taking my proposal photos! She scoped out the location in advance with my fiance to find a good spot where she could hide, and we could have a nice background for the proposal photos. It was a cloudy day so there wasnt a lot of light to work with, and the photos still turned out amazing. I had also had a ring hidden with the plan to propose back to my fiance, and she was quick to capture those as well. She is very friendly and outgoing and would be able to get anyone out of their shell!
