Pheasant Field Bed and Breakfast, Carlisle PA

Choosing Pheasant Field was the best decision of our wedding. Number one, it's a beautiful location for an outside wedding and exactly what we were looking for. We got butterflies the first time we visited. Number two, the owners Kit and Robin are not only warm and personable but also very good at their jobs. You give them the contact info of your vendors and they reach out and take care of all the logistics, making sure all of your vendor's needs are met and taking so much stress off of your plate. They care of all the setup and tear down on the day of, so there's no need to recruit your whole family and wedding party to slave over it (like some of the weddings I've been a part of). We would absolutely recommend this location to anyone planning an outside wedding in central PA.

Kit and Robin Stauffer, the owners of Pheasant Field, could not have provided a better wedding prep and wedding day experience! They are not only true professionals, they are genuinely good people who go all in to make your experience at their venue everything you dream of it being! Both Robin and Kit were up at the crack of dawn the day of our wedding, getting everything set up just right. Several pre-wedding meetings with them helped us firm up a plan for decor, seating, and the reception tent layout. I never once felt stressed out about anything related to the venue or ceremony... the Stauffer's made getting everything ready a simple joy, and were in constant communication with us as our wedding day approached. They made a real point to tell us that we were their priority for the week, and made us feel so special... like we were their only guests! Their luxurious bridal suite and four other beautiful rooms at the inn are part of the package deal when you book their site for your ceremony and reception venue... and their healthy, home-cooked breakfasts the morning after the wedding are to die for :] The bridal suite was a peaceful place to get ready in with the ladies the day of the wedding, and a treat to relax in when the day was all over! We chose to have members of our bridal party stay at the inn with us in the four extra rooms, which made the wedding "after-party" and following morning a fun end to a fabulous weekend! The natural scenery around the farm was just stunning... peonies, willow trees, the sparkling fountain in the lake behind the ceremony site, ivy, and immaculate landscaping and flower gardens all around... the venue speaks for itself! If you're looking for a unique outdoor venue with a rustic, elegant flair, (and fabulous people to help you plan your wedding) this is the place for you! We will definitely be back so soon...
