Oh my goodness where do I even begin?! Phil is one of the best decisions I made during wedding planning! Our coordinator had to do hardly anything because Phil basically planned out our whole itinerary! He is amazing at what he does and his positive uplifting energy just makes you feel so good! Just talking to the guy puts a smile on your face, so I knew my guests would have an awesome time if he was there! When we had our meeting to go over the song list, he was so great at helping us visualize it all coming together. Needless to say, the dance floor was never empty! He played all the right songs at all the right times! So many of our guests came up to us and said they had so much fun and it was the best wedding they've ever been to! I know for a fact, Phil played a major part in that! When we returned from our honeymoon, we came home to a nice surprise! Phil sent a personalized cd in the mail with a soundtrack that played on our wedding day. That disc holds memories that will last a lifetime and it was such a kind gesture. I can't express how happy I am with having Phil DJ our wedding! It's been the best experience and I can't thank him enough!

Picking a wedding DJ can be tough. How do you know if they will be good? Photos don't necessarily 'show' the work and reflect capabilities so you are going off a gut decision based on websites, reviews and perhaps a quick phone call.... Selection: Our first phone call with Phil solidified that he was a professional, clearly knew what he was doing, understood the vision for our day and he even made some recommendations for how we should match our music to the venue location and timing of the day and moments/events. We locked him in right away! Planning: Leading up to the event, Phil will have a 1:1 with the bride and groom to go through specifics regarding the playlist for the day. His planning documents were easy to follow and helped set up the 'run of show' and timing for our big day. His package pricing was easy to follow and his contracts were simple. Day Of: Phil and his assistant were prompt for ceremony and reception set up. They did sound checks and provided all audio needs for our outdoor beach ceremony so every one of our 145 guests could hear our vows (even those in the back row!). The reception music flowed beautifully from grand entrance to dinner to 'party time'. Phil honored our 'do not play' and 'must have' lists as well as special requests by our guests while never slowing down the dance floor. Every one of our guests commented on how good the DJ was! Post Event: Phil took photos throughout the day and promptly posted them to Facebook so we could share with friends and family. As part of our package Phil also made a custom CD of our major song choices including first dance and last song of the night so we can relive the magic over and over again. I would absolutely recommend Phil as your wedding DJ! He was thorough, professional and has a passion for the job.

Phil was an amazing DJ/MC and did an incredible job at our wedding. The guests had a great time and the dance floor was always full, all thanks to him. We interviewed several other DJ's and none of them compared to the service that Phil provided. We are so happy that we chose him to DJ our wedding and would highly reccomend him to any future bride/grooms.

Phil was truly amazing. As this was our first, and hopefully only wedding, we were overwhelmed with all of the planning and idea of scheduling our day. Phil did this for us. Not only did he create an entirely custom musical experience that expressed our style perfectly, he scheduled every moment from start to finish. We did not have a day of coordinator because we had Phil and I had a fantastic maid of honor to keep things on track. Phil made our entire day flow so seamlessly. He even helped us plan a way for my fiance to get his garter toss without me having to have him go up my dress, something that I was very uncomfortable with. I want to have another party so that Phil can DJ, he is worth every penny, and then some. I will use Phil for everything from here on out.

Phil was an outstandingDJ! He is professional, personable, dependable, and FUN!! He is a true professional in his field. He took 3 hours of his day to help us plan every detail to our wedding. If there were 2 songs I liked but couldn't decided, he merged them for me!! My wedding march was one of a kind!!! I loved it! He was an outstanding host to our wedding, and helped guide the evening so nothing was over looked or missed! He even noticed we didn't sit and eat so he made sure we sat down to eat!! We highly recommend Phil! You will not be sorry! He is outstanding!

What more can I say about Phil. He blew away my expectations! I've been to a number of weddings where the DJ was nonexistent, didn't keep things flowing, or barely made the wedding a fun time. Phil Birdsell is not that type of DJ. First, he is very professional. During your first contact with him, he will walk you through everything that he will do. A month before our wedding, we sat down with him and planned all the music that we wanted. We even wanted to do a couple new and cool things and he was very flexible. In addition, he makes the whole wedding run smoothly. He also made the whole wedding atmosphere feel celebratory, happy, and great! He had a way of getting everyone up and moving and dancing. After our meeting with him a month before the wedding, I knew this was going to be an excellent wedding. After the wedding, I told one of my friends that he blew away my expectations. He made the whole place fun! He had a way of getting everyone involved! He would also take pictures throughout the wedding and give those pictures to you. On a final note, one of our guests has been a wedding coordinator for a number of weddings. She came up to us and said that Phil Birdsell was by far the best DJ/Entertainer she has encountered. Hire Phil Birdsell because he will make your wedding a wonderful and great time!

We absolutely loved Phil! He is such a great guy and everything that I wanted was done to the "T". He was perfect. He helped make sure the wedding went smoothly from ceremony to reception and he even took pictures throughout the whole thing and I am so glad he did. He really got some good moments! He was very professional and was able to bend the times when needed and everything went smoothly because of him! I couldn't have asked for a better DJ! My husband and I are so happy that we chose him! Thanks again Phil!!!!

Phil Birdsell was amazing, I can't say enough good things about him. He's organized, enthusiastic and has so much experience that he helped us choose the right music for our reception. He even sang! Plus, he sends you pictures of the event that he took with his own camera, as well as a CD of the important songs from your day. He was dressed nice, kept the evening flowing and had a good time himself. I guarantee that if you hire Phil, you won't be disappointed!
