The pictures he had captured for my friend's wedding were beautiful and looking at his other work is breath taking. After seeing his work, I knew he would be my number 1 pick for my wedding. He was very sincere and his communication with us was top notch. Phil was super organized, professional and kind! His photos were amazing and he was so nice to work with. He had everything down and always sent email reminders before I could even think of checking in with him! I cannot reccomend him enough!!

Phil was great to work with! We talked about some details prior to the wedding, that he remembered the day of the wedding that I didn't 😁. He made us complete comfortable and did an amazing job. He also helped to keep us on track so we didn't miss anything.

Phil was great to work with on our wedding day! He and his wife Jess both where there to take photos, and even though Jess was only supposed to stay until 7pm, she stayed until 9pm! Both Phil and Jess both where the only one of our vendors to come find us at the end of the night to say goodbye and thank you, which I thought was amazing! They even said goodbye to my parents. Phil's pictures are clear and well edited, and don't have any over heavy filters. He also was game to walk with us to different picture spots once the ceremony was over. Will reccomend him for any wedding! He was great!

I can't say enough good things about Phil. When looking for a wedding photographer, I came upon his website and it was filled with pictured that really captured the personality of the couples he photographed so I knew he would be perfect. On the day of the wedding, he and his wife, Jesse, showed up a half hour early to get a feel for the place. They were so kind! They made everyone feel at ease. It was as if they were a part of our family-- that is how easy it is to be around them. My husband and I were obviously nervous. We spent about 15 minutes doing first look photos with just Phil and his wife and they completely helped to calm our nerves. They were jovial, encouraging, and supportive. The night after our wedding we decided one of our favorite parts of our wedding day was our time with Phil and Jesse. We had about 45 minutes with them after the ceremony, just us four, and it was so nice to slow down and enjoy our time together. If you are on the fence about booking Phil - BOOK HIM! I promise you won't be disappointed. In addition to his amazing and calm presence, his pictures were OUTSTANDING!

Phil and his wife Jess were an absolute dream to work with for our wedding!! They did an amazing job and made everyone feel great and comfortable! My wife and I cannot speak higher about Phil and his unmatched photography skills!! We hired Phil to shoot our engagement photos, but we had him photograph our wedding as well because we were so thrilled with how all of the photos came out! And boy did he deliver. His professionalism and skill set led to some amazing pictures, but his demeanor and friendliness were what really made the wedding day so great for us. Phil was incredible from initial phone call to the day of our wedding. Great communication over the entire planning process. He made accommodations to do our engagement photos at my family farm and provided the photos through a portal very fast. The months leading up to the special day we had many conversations about his roll helping keep to a schedule and making sure everyone what where they needed to be and when. I didn’t even know he was around and he somehow captured all the incredible moments. The photo quality is beyond expectation and I 10/10 recommend his services.

When we got engaged, I had been searching for photographers. Facebook starting showing me many photographers and Phil's page caught my eye. He seemed like he had fun with the photo shoots and I enjoyed that he took selfies with the couples. My first phone contact with Phil was him getting to know us as a couple which I really enjoyed. Phil was professional and responsive. His contract was easy to read. I was beyond pleased with the photos. When we got our photos back it was like I was reliving the day all over again. There were moments that I didn't get to be a part of and moments that I didn't even know happened, but his photos allowed me to experience it. There were poses that he suggested where I felt so silly, but those ended up being my favorite photos! I'm so glad I trusted the process. My wedding party also had nothing but amazing things to say about Phil as they had a lot of fun with him. My wedding party enjoyed how he took the time to learn everyone's name so he could properly place people. It was a nice touch. I hope to use Phil again and I would highly recommend for your special day!

UNBELIEVABLE! There are not enough words to express our gratitude to Phil and his art at photographing our wedding. He is punctual, attentive and reassuring every single step of the way. From the communication ahead of time to ensure the timeline flows perfectly to the day of in wrangling six junior bridesmaids for incredible photos. Our guests kept telling us how wonderful he was and how great of a job he did and we could not agree more. Phil arrived early to the venue to take Reception/Ceremony space pictures before meeting me at my home for "getting ready" photos. This was something I hadn't even asked of him and I'm so grateful he took it upon himself to give us these memories. I'm also certain he stayed beyond our agreed upon time to make sure we got our cake cutting and first dance in. Truly appreciate this above-and-beyond care he gifted to us. We received our photos a week ahead of schedule and they are STUNNING! I have never felt comfortable in front of a camera and neither has my husband. But Phil made everything feel so effortless and gave us the confidence to "just be". I literally cried when I opened our email attachment and scrolled through the hundreds of photos. We truly could not be happier and now to select favorites from the many many gorgeous shots. Thank you Phil! We are truly honored to have had you capture our special day.

Phil was amazing. He showed up early and got right down to it. He called a few times before the wedding and gave us even great ideas for the reception itself. Phil and Jess photographed our wedding on 9/4/21. We could not have asked for more wonderful photographers! They were very helpful throughout the process: asking us the right questions and planning to make our day go as smooth as possible. They customized the hours to fit our needs, traveled to the location, and were very easy to communicate with. We found Phil in an internet search for wedding photographers back in the fall of 2019. His reviews were great, and we loved what we saw of his work. Fast forward through two postponements because of COVID to July 2021. Phil and Jessica were an absolute dream to work with. They had asked in advance what special relatives or groupings we wanted to make sure they photographed. They captured every single request and so much more. They had some fabulous ideas for settings, natural poses, and the lighting they captured was breathtaking. Phil came through with 581 photos that we were so thrilled with. We are having a hard time deleting any of them! It's going to be a very large wedding album...We can't recommend Phil enough - professional through and through, and with a gift of space and lighting you just can't teach.

You ask and Phil definitely delivers! From the beginning, Phil was quick with responding and very professional. Like many, we have the perfect pictures in mind with certain poses that we thought we could only find on our dream Pinterest boards. Phil exceeded our expectations and did NOT disappoint. He made my fiance and I really comfortable in front of the camera and a great guy to chat with along the way. Lastly, Phil was so speedy at editing your photos and sending the online gallery. Phil was absolutely amazing. I had a destination wedding so I had to pick out a lot of things remotely and was not always able to meet people before deciding on them. I had a gut feeling from the start with Phil that he was going to be perfect. He was incredibly fast at communicating with me and helped answer some questions I had about any and everything. I did have a smaller wedding but my family does have big personalities and he handled everyone so well. He did a great job coming up with poses and helping us pose. Phil Koehler Photography delivered beyond our expectations! We had a small intimate ceremony, and Phil was able to capture the emotions of our day perfectly! Looking through the photos was definitely reliving the day. We also had a bit of a crazy morning, with an outdoor wedding and a thunderstorm pending, but Phil was the best to work with! He was calm and flexible with helping us get everything in before the rain! All of my bridesmaids said they loved him. Phil created poses that were unique and stunning - many people have mentioned that our photos look like they could be in a magazine! The colors in our photos are vibrant and the posed shots of our group stand out beautifully against the backdrop. My husband and I’s wedding day was unusually hot for an early June wedding in Wisconsin, but Phil and his wife, Jess, didn’t miss a beat! Phil was taking photos and adjusting people, Jess was adjusting me, my dress, my veil, my flowers, you name it! These two went above and beyond what typical photographers should do and they are a great team together and a great duo to work with! Not only did they capture images that will bring back memories for years to come, but I know my husband and I for sure will remember their skills and their dedication to making our wedding day the best! Something else we really appreciated about him is that Phil takes the time to honestly get to know you and understand what style and types of photos you would like. I saw Phil's work via a coworker and I felt he really captured unique moments for their wedding. Although we gave him almost no parameters, and a very tight evening wedding timeline, he exceeded our expectations on our wedding. Pictures blew us away.
