ade suggestions to help make our wedding, our best day. Due to circumstance too lengthy to explain we found ourselves in a predicament. We didn’t have anyone to marry us! I reached out to Phil to find out if he knew anyone that could help us out, as he is in the wedding business. He recommended someone, when they were already booked; Phil stepped in and ended up marrying us!!! That is correct, we ended up having him minister our wedding. He told us he doesn’t do this too often but in our case he could help us out. We got on a call and talked to him about our expectations of the ceremony. We sent him emails about our story from our own point of views. Again, Dr Phil Norby Master of Ceremonies came through with flying colors! The ceremony was very personal and touching. This was the first time in which family and friends asked where we found this guy! Phil played music for us during the cocktail hour. If you have not heard Phil play live, I would highly recommend seeing him at one of his many gigs around the state. He is amazing to hear and he set a great atmosphere for our friends and family. I can’t remember how many people asked about him but I can say he received a lot of praise. During our planning stages, Phil gave us the opportunity for him to learn and play our wedding song live. We chose to have Phil play our song for us. Hearing him play live added to the moment, by making it more personal. We loved it! Again, Phil’s lore grew amongst our family and friends. He kept everyone dancing all night by DJing to the close of the venue. Phil Norby, exceeded every expectation we could have thought up. He did more than just play music, he married us, he released tables when it was their time to eat, I think, I saw him take a picture on one of our disposable cameras we had laying on a table and he made our night magical! At the beginning of the night, family and friends were referring to him as that guy by the end of the night his lore grew into so much, calling him a legend seems right! He was easy to plan with and is so amazing at what he does. I would recommend him to anyone!

The last half hour of our reception I made a last minute request for him to play solo accoustic around the fire pit. He was all game for this. He took our requests. He played one of his original songs. He played a slow song for my husband and I to dance around the fire. It was literally magical. We rapped to eminem while he played the beat on his guitar. It could not have been a more perfect way to end our magical day.

Phil was able to learn the acoustics to our first dance, the mother-son dance, and the daddy-daughter dance in under two weeks. Our wedding guests loved Phil and our dance floor stayed filled the entire night. The service was so good I want to get divorced just to remarry and hire Phil one more time.

The transitions, timing and flow of the music felt seamless. The live music was exactly what we had in mind - we loved it - and the DJ portion was so fun. Despite the hot sun beating down on him most of the evening, he had a smile on his face and a great attitude the whole night!
