The wedding celebration took place at an indoor/outdoor space under spreading oak trees with a beautiful sun peaking through, leading to a star filled night. Philip was everywhere. He met us at the courthouse and seemed to be there before us at the celebration venue. His style of photography perfectly matched our vision of documenting the event without overtaking the event. He seamlessly captured images of pure joy and love without us even knowing he was there. His instinct seemed to lead him to just the right spot where a special embrace, glance, or serious dance move was happening. The wedding took place at 2:00 pm and the celebration closed down around midnight. Philip was there graciously taking every precious picture, even up to the get away car, that now allows all attending to remember and re-celebrate the occasion. His pictures are pure artistry. He did take the standard photographs of our family as we requested But these photographs were not “standard.” They were finely captured portraits. And because he so quietly documented the wedding, the portraits are fresh and alive. You can see the affection and the energy in the eyes of the ones in the picture. After about six weeks, the files arrived and now I get to try and sort through to determine which ones go in the wedding album. That will take some time because so many are perfection. I could not be happier with Philip’s capture of my son and daughter in law’s wedding.

He (and his wonderful second shooter) was everywhere, and nowhere, snapping candid moments that I could have sworn I did not see him capture. I am not the best “poser,” but he helped me look like a supermodel in my bridal photos. All you have to do as a client is trust and take his advice – ignore him, and he will take care of the rest. Also, the speed with which he moved through family photos was well-appreciated, and his ability to find the perfect shooting locations on the fly showed how much of an artist he was. He was clear in his client communications and contracts, and he was okay with me changing around picture requests in the week before the wedding. He even helped my little brother with his tie! I really cannot say enough about Philip, but I guess I have to stop somewhere. He truly has a gift and the pictures he captured for us are priceless. Thank you, Philip!

Philip is a photography ninja - largely unseen, but present for every single photo opportunity. Multiple times during the day, I was enjoying myself to my fullest, and realized Philip was right there, sneakily capturing photos of the happiest moments. He allowed us to maximize our time enjoying our day by making sure our posed family/wedding party photos went quickly, without sacrificing any quality. On top of being a true artist, Philip is extremely professional. He responded to questions quickly, communicated his timelines to us, and helped us with our day-of timeline to ensure everything ran smoothly. In today's industry, vendor communication is not always guaranteed - this alone should be enough reason to hire Philip. The photos he delivered are some of my most cherished possessions, and I cannot thank Philip enough for sharing his art with us.

We met him in person for the first time at our rehearsal dinner (we’re from Chicago and planned a ‘destination’ wedding in Austin), but he made us feel comfortable almost instantly! We had an Indian wedding, which called for a long day… multiple events, outfit changes, etc – Philip definitely lived up to the challenge! All our photos, from the beginning of the day through the end were beautiful! Bonus points>> he saved the day at our rehearsal dinner with an extra HDMI converter for our laptop

own San Antonio. I loved that he took charge and chose all locations for engagement and bridal. As a bride that can be stressful. He took the time to sit with us and ask us what style of photo shoot we wanted. From there he was able to gather a few places and our engagement shoot was an amazing turnout. He never rushed us, he never posed us, everything was natural. My bridal was beautiful. He captured me, my dress and all the details of it. Philip captures emotions, moments and through his images he tells your love story. Our wedding photos are epic. They left us in aw. Philip is funny, and so much fun to work with. He makes you feel comfortable, truthfully you don't even realize he's shooting you. As a bride, he captured all the photos I could possibly imagine. He's very professional and quickly responds to anything you may need or questions you may have. His second shooter is great as well. He definitely puts together the best team to deliver the best images. Philip is far from typical, traditional, and cliche. I'm beyond pleased with his work, and thankful that we hired him as our wedding photographer.

We did spend about 15 minutes with the wedding party, and about 15 minutes as a couple getting some posed shots, but it was so nice to be able to enjoy the wedding with our guests. Our photos are absolutely beautiful, and so different than any others I've ever seen! He was able to perfectly capture the day. It was worth every penny to have these photos today to look back on our wedding day.

around time. The album company he uses is also amazing. The album is so beautiful. Probably the nicest wedding album I've ever seen. My one and only complaint is really my own fault anyway, so it's more of a suggestion to future brides. I really wasn't too picky with wanting specific photos of specific people, so I didn't make a list of photos I wanted. I now regret that. Not that I wanted more posed photos, but they focused almost the entire night on photographing the bride and groom. Which is nice, and there were lots of great pictures, BUT....a whole bunch of our guests are not in a single photo. Which makes me a bit sad. I'd have liked more photos of guests to be taken. We also had the most amazing catering served family style, and there are no pictures of the spread. We also had homeslice pizza delivered for a late night snack and there were no pictures of that. So, even if you don't want specific people in pictures, make sure you let the photographer know what is important to you to have captured.

We knew the pictures were going to be amazing but we didn't expect what he captured.
