day rolled around we had the best vendors in the business working our event and for entertainment, that meant Bob Mills. Bob is in high demand, so we actually worked our wedding date around his availability. I couldn't be more glad that we did! Every moment was perfect and Bob didn't miss a beat (literally)! Since I never do anything the easy way, I decided that my bridesmaids and I would walk down the aisle to the same song, but my dad and I would enter at the crescendo in the beginning of the third verse. This required a bit of rehearsal and choreography. Bob was on board and made this happen flawlessly. Bob is not just talented and great at engaging with party guests, he is kind and patient. When you are planning your wedding, you need this in your vendors. Bob worked around our busy work schedules and our 3 children to make himself available to discuss details and recommend ways to make our special day perfect. Philly Event Group provides additional services. We took advantage of the uplighting and are SO glad that we did. Our venue is beautiful, but didn't have built in lighting effects. Adding this was the element that really tied everything together and created the beautiful, tropical paradise atmosphere we were looking for. If you are planning your wedding I highly recommend Philly Event Group. Ask for Bob Mills. He is the best in the business and you will not regret it.

However, Bob, our coordinator really stepped up to make the situation right. He found an amazing replacement option, The Dynasty Djs, that was even better than the original. I think how someone handles challenges tells you a lot about them, and they definitely put their clients first.

onsive. He was extremely helpful in booking the videographer we requested. Jeff, our videographer was great. He was very pleasant to work with and did a good job at capturing out crazy wedding! We didn’t give him a specific song to use for our highlight video but we were very pleased with his song choice when we got our video back. The clarity of the video wasn’t what I had expected but overall I am very happy with the result. Thank you Jeff for capturing our special day!

Friends have already tried to book the band following our wedding -- and they've been booked out, so I recommend you hurry! Fantastic experience. Expensive, but worth the price.

He sat down with us to go over the timing of the evening, and made sure to get small details like the proper pronunciation of our bridal party's names. Bob gave us suggestions where we could make little adjustments to make things go smoother or be more exciting for guests. He was helpful but not pushy and his experience was very helpful to us. Bob played instrumental versions of some of our favorite rock songs as the ceremony was preparing to start and our guests loved it! A piece of music my husband had written for me was our processional song and Bob timed it perfectly to crescendo as I began to walk out. The big highlight of the evening was a blues song that Adam and I wanted to play together as our "first dance" and surprise for our guests. Bob was excited to help us pull off this big moment and even helped us out by filling in with a little harmonica and backup vocals! I was overwhelmed at how Bob went out of his way to get our instruments set up and tuned on the day of the wedding while we were busy getting dressed. All we had to do was show up and start playing! The performance was perfect! It really set the tone for our laid back reception style and the guests loved it. From then on Bob continued to keep the party lively with a great mix of songs. The sound was perfectly balanced for the open air event and never too loud. The lighting was beautiful and our guests really enjoyed the karaoke we planned for the last two hours. Bob never seemed to tire and kept the party going until the last song was played. He is a true professional and obviously loves what he does. Thank you so much Bob!!

We also used the Philly Event Group for our photo booth. That was a fantastic addition to our wedding! You receive all photos afterwards - a great and hilarious keepsake!

review the flow and requests for the big day. The band was phenomenal and all our guests were super impressed. All of our guests of all ages were on the dance floor all night and had a blast. My only feedback was we asked for a mix of music to satisfy guests of all ages (todays hits and a lot of Motown). The band primarily played today's hits, and I think some of the older guests tended to wander off more frequently. But overall these guys were awesome! Do not hesitate to book.

one tripped over them! The photobooth was a tower for the camera and printer along with a backdrop and was open on all other sides. We LOVED this setup because we could get TONS of people in to each picture. We brought along our own props, but the attendant also brought along a few cute ones, so all of our guests were having fun getting dressed up. The photobooth photos became our second guestbook in a way - and, to be honest, is WAYYY more fun than our actual guestbook. We loved it! Money well spent. Our DJ, Michele, was great. She kept the party going and was able to switch songs quickly if the vibe died. She was attentive to the crowd but maintained a very "behind the scenes" feel which we loved. We definitely did NOT want one of those loud, obnoxious DJs who spend more time on the dancefloor with a microphone than they do spinning tracks. Michele was prepared and attentive to us throughout the planning process. We made a great choice in choosing her and PEG as a whole!

There were a few last minute changes to the order of things during the reception, and Bob was very quick to work with them. He was the perfect mix of fun and professional. We had a number of comments on the music and how great Bob was at our wedding, the music was a perfect combination of current music and classics, and a perfect combination of slow and fast songs that kept people on the dance floor the entire evening. He had the little kids dancing and he had the older generations dancing and everyone in between. I would definitely recommend DJ Bob to anyone looking for a great night for their wedding!
