PHILTER Photography

Photography was one of the most important parts of our wedding planning process and we are so thankful that Philter was recommended to us. I don't even know where to start with this review because their work is just incredible! Erin was our lead photographer and she can become instant BFFs with anyone she comes in contact with. She is truly one of the purest and sweetest souls. My husband and I do not have experience with posing and she made our engagement session SO FUN and it definitely made us less nervous for the wedding day! Erin knows how to work the crowd and has an amazing attention to detail. She was always 5 steps ahead of us! Her creativity is unmatched and I cannot wait to have her capture all of our future milestones.

The Philter team is true perfection. From our engagement session, phone calls, texts and our wedding day - we are beyond in love with the moments they captured. Our lead photographer was Erin, supported by the lovely Christy for our day - and they were both such a blast. Professional, timely, hysterical, kind, talented. We couldn't have asked for a better team to capture our wedding day. We trusted them completely and gave very little guidance on what we wanted for our day, and could not be happier with the result. We cannot wait to print out tons of photos to cherish and hopefully hire their team again and again for all of our milestones as we start our lives together.

Erin was an absolute DREAM to work with right from the start! My husband and I needed someone to make us laugh and feel more comfortable in front of the camera, and Erin definitely delivered. The whole engagement shoot was so much fun and my husband and I were cracking up the entire time (which led to some of my favorite pictures of us ever). On my wedding day not only was she amazing at capturing every moment, but she helped everyone stay on track with our schedule, which I appreciated so much since I had no clue what I was doing. She went above and beyond to make sure that everything went smoothly. And of course, the pictures are even better than I could have imagined. I honestly could not recommend her more!!

I wish we weren't limited to just 5 stars, because Philter deserves at least 10! Steph and Erin are a dream team when it comes to vendors. Steph is an absolute gem of a human and she has an incredibly eye through her camera lens. A true artist and her passion for her craft shines through in all of her work! I met Steph while I was a bridesmaid in a friend’s wedding. After talking with a few other photographers, none of them made me feel as comfortable as she did. She put us at ease and listened to our vision, while still taking creative liberty to do her thing! Philter was also incredibly patient and flexible with us, which we were so thankful for! Our engagement session was postponed multiple times due to weather, when we finally had good weather, Steph trekked a mile in the heat of summer to shoot an incredible, fun engagement session for us. Then COVID hit and our wedding was postponed twice, but Philter stuck with us. Steph shot our “backyard wedding” and captured all the details that made the day so special to us. More than we could have ever asked for! We could finally have our reception this Nov. and Steph and Erin were amazing!!! They are so easy to work with and they were absolutely EVERYWHERE that day! I can’t wait to see the magic they create! I hope to find excuses to work with them in the future :)

Erin from Philter was our photographer. She has a wonderful, sunny disposition and takes such beautiful photos. She was so easy to work with during photo sessions. I always struggle with pictures and posing, and she made me feel comfortable and provided me with great specific direction (like move your hand here or put your shoulders back) when I started to get nervous. She is able to make the most out of any photo situation (including an unseasonably cold engagement photo shoot and a rainy wedding day). She is very flexible and creative, and we loved her pictures. Would definitely recommend working with her for beautiful and stress-free wedding and engagement photos.

Erin is so amazing! She was wonderful at our wedding her bubbly/ friendly personality made our entire wedding party feel totally comfortable. Erin worked great with our videographer and was a pleasure to work with. We love all of the beautiful photos and work she does!

Stephanie and Erin are amazing and the kind of people you want around on your wedding day. They are so much fun and absolutely the best photographers. They know how to work a bridal party crowd. They have so much talent and the photos came out BEYOND what I could ever imagine. Truly speechless. They were worth every penny!

Erin, as always, knocked it out of the park. From the engagement session to the day of, she rocked it! We had so many guests ask about our photographer because of how she made everyone feel relaxed during a busy day. Not only is Stephanie an amazingly talented photographer, but she also was a huge help in making sure the day of our wedding was organized and well-thought out with all the vendors we had to attend to. Also, Stephanie has the perfect personality for a wedding photographer--she was able to corral people for family photos without being bossy and she helped even the shyest of people feel comfortable in front of the camera. Once we received our photos, we were stunned by how beautiful they were and just how much we loved each and every photo. HIRE NOW! Stephanie at Philter is immensely talented and a true gem of a human being. My husband got teary-eyed upon seeing our photos and reliving the day through her perspective (I cried my eyes out in a wonderful way!). We both are a bit camera shy, but Steph made us feel so comfortable, and we had a BLAST with her. These photos will be cherished for a lifetime and more. So grateful to share in our special day with Steph ---- it's a shame there are only five stars, because she deserves a thousand million kajillion <3

STEPHANIE IS AMAZING! How do I even start?! She is so detailed and is able to capture shots you didn’t even think of. This woman made my goofy husband look like a total model! She was so fun to work with and it was honestly like having your bff shoot your wedding. JULES was also incredible! During my boudoir shoot with them, she hyped me up and really had me feeling like Queen Yonce! I love these two women soooo much! So grateful they were apart of our day.

Where do I even start...PHILTER WAS AMAZING! I’ve worked with Erin from the beginning of this whole process and I truly felt like the universe worked it’s magic for us to meet! During our engagement photos & wedding photos she made the experience so effortless and captured all but genuine smiles/emotions. Every photo brings out the warmest fuzzies and takes me through the greatest emotions! We were so honored on our wedding day to not only have Erin but also Stephanie! They were seriously the A-Team! This duo livened our big day from the start and we had such a blast working with them! They accommodated to all of our crazy request and worked with us so kindly when we were off schedule! I would use no one else but Philter for the rest of my life! We are beyond grateful for them and I am so excited to have met such wonderful souls!

It truly does not get better than Philter. Steph and Jules were with Rob and I throughout our engagement photographing our engagement photos, my boudoir session, and our wedding. If you want a photographer that makes you feel comfortable than Philter is the way to go. By the time the wedding day came they felt like some of our best friends which made photographing throughout the day seamless and comfortable. We had kind of a complicated family issue where certain family members couldn’t be near each other but we still wanted them in the big family photo. Steph and Jules coordinates this seamlessly and made sure we got all of the pictures we wanted. I have posted pictures on Facebook along the way and every time I receive messages commenting on how these are some of the most GORGEOUS photos they’ve ever seen. There’s wedding photos and then there’s wedding photos that Philter captured. They truly are a step above the rest <3

The women behind Philter are so loving, kind, and incredibly talented. Our engagement and wedding pictures are phenomenal! Their work is absolutely perfect. Our entire bridal party felt comfortable with Steph and Christy while shooting on the wedding day. They were professional and relaxed from the very beginning and instantly became friends with us. I can not say enough how much I loved having the ladies of Philter photograph my wedding! I live in New Jersey but got married in Pennsylvania so I was blind when it came to vendors. When I found Philter i fell in love with their portfolio. Stephanie was so accommodating to meeting with me given the distance. She worked around mine and my husbands busy schedule to skype with us. After our first meeting i knew immediately that I wanted her to photograph our wedding. In the months leading up to the wedding Steph was so responsive to all of my questions it made planning so much easier! The day of my wedding Stephanie and Jules were my photographers and they are such amazing people and are truly talented at what they do. After checking out the portfolios of and speaking to several wedding photographers in our area, we knew we wanted Stephanie at PHILTER to be our photographer. Her portfolio of work is stunning. She is incredibly talented, enthusiastic, passionate, so friendly, and simply a JOY to work with! She helped us through building a custom package suited to our photography needs and was with us every step of the way. She helped us plan out the day-of photography timeline and worked with our other vendors to ensure their timelines and hers came together seamlessly. On the day of our wedding she was tremendous. She was organized, professional, fun, and went about her work without affecting the natural flow of the day. We had our full gallery of photos back within a handful of weeks after our wedding. She captured our day perfectly! All the little moments, the emotions, the joy, and the fun had by all simply shine in our photos! We couldn't be happier, and highly recommend PHILTER. Meeting Stephanie and the team at Philter was one of the best things that happened to me as I planned our wedding. They came highly recommended by a friend in the wedding industry, and they still managed to surpass my high expectations. These ladies are such bright spirits. They’re detail-oriented, so easy to work with, and seriously good at what they do. Our photos are gorgeous, and I am so glad that we have them to treasure for a lifetime as we remember a day that seemed to pass by in a split second. The Philter team makes magic.

Stephanie was the first, and last, photographer we met with. We knew from the get-go she was going to be our girl. There were ZERO disappointments! The communication leading up to our wedding was excellent and our meetings were always fun and informative. My husband and I aren't exactly comfortable in front of a camera, so we knew we needed to find someone that would make us feel relaxed, and from the very beginning that's how we felt with Stephanie. Not only did we get the most amazing pictures, we felt like Stephanie became a friend. The teaser video that we received just following our wedding has been re-watched a thousand times over. Every few days we sneak a peek at our pictures to re-live the most amazing day that Stephanie captured so well! We had just a FUN day and Stephanie's photography skills captured the energy and the emotions of the day so perfectly that we get to re-live the day every time we look at our pictures! We can tell you love your job, Stephanie, as it shines through brightly in your wonderful photos!

Stephanie was so great to work from the very start. It was so fun to work with her during our engagement photos. She was engaged and made us feel so comfortable. Somewhere along the way, some things were shifted and despite having her booked monthsss in advance, I got bumped where I didn't even have her as a photographer at my wedding. Julia was assigned lead. We met with Julia once before and she was very nice leading up to the event and was very organized. I'd like to say up front the the pictures we received were stunning. Julia and Sean (?) took some absolutely gorgeous photos. However; we were extremely disappointed to find out weeks later that one of the major group shots that was so important to my husband's family, had a technical error and the picture never produced. Knowing this is a once in a lifetime event, disappointment doesn't really cover how upset my husband and mother in law were. Julia and Stephanie did offer some recovery but still very tough to overcome. I even emphasized over and over that photos was the #1 priority on the day of the event. I just hope that this was a lesson for Philter in the future in perhaps having duplicate efforts on the photos that mean the most to the bride/groom. Despite the major hiccup, I do look forward to our complimentary 1st anniversary photo shoot this summer.

When I was looking for a photographer for my wedding I only went to one company - philter. I met Stephanie at another wedding and her eye for catching natural moments among the busy wedding chaos and her bubbly, yet professional and organized personality were the perfect combo. She makes you feel so relaxed in front of a camera and handles organizing crazy family photos with ease. She thinks through wild poses/scenarios for you to do - which in the moment you’re like “yeah ok this is going to make me look like a fool.” And then when you see said photo- it’s so natural and perfect- she knows exactly how to direct you and your spouse so you look natural and just like she happened to catch you in a moment, rather than posing you. She has such a stellar eye. I knew I was going to have amazing photos from the wedding taken by Stephanie and Jules, but what I didn’t know was that I would have two additional awesome, kind, funny and down right cool people to hang out with all day. I couldn’t have imagined using anyone else on my wedding day. You guys rock. Xoxo

I can't say enough wonderful things about Philter Photographer! My wedding was only a few days ago and I just had to take a minute to give a shining review. Stephanie was a dream to work with - so sweet, kind, flexible, patient, and helpful! Her positive energy was infectious and she just had a way of making everyone around her feel comfortable. Stephanie was the first photographer I interviewed to shoot our wedding, and I knew she was "the one" from the get-go. She's sweet, honest, and genuinely passionate about what she does. It was important for me to hire someone who was as excited as I was about the wedding, and she was it. Stephanie also worked with us to ensure we got the package that suited us best. On the day of the wedding, she was a total rockstar! Her professionalism and patience exceeded our high expectations, and she and her assistant went above and beyond to capture gorgeous photos and even corral guests to get us those perfect shots. In addition, she sent us a gorgeous sneak-peak photo video a few days after the wedding to whet our appetites. The final products were delivered much sooner than we had anticipated, and the pictures are all stunning. I highly recommend Stephanie and Philter!

My husband and I got married in November and used Philter for our photography. Stephanie was our photographer and I think this was the best choice we made for our wedding other then venue! From the start they were so accommodating allowing me to create my own package to get exactly what I was looking for. We met with Stephanie twice and both times she was so sweet. Then came the day of the wedding, words cannot express of thankful I was to have Stephanie there. She went above and beyond and I have only seen 10 pictures so far and I think I have looked at them 30 times a day. I have had multiple family members call me and say "your photographer was everywhere I cannot wait to see all the pictures she got!". I would recommend this company to anyone!

Harmony was absolutely amazing on our wedding day! It managed to downpour all day long, which hindered many of the outdoor shots that we had originally planned for the day. Harmony worked with what we had available and delivered absolutely stunning pictures of our day! I cannot say enough how talented Harmony is in what she does. We were simply amazed at how awesome our wedding photos turned out, and we are so thankful that we were able to have Harmony share our day with us!

The pictures are stunning and a beautiful reminder of the amazing day my husband and I shared, as well as with our son and daughter. I've made videos and photo books/albums with the pictures and never tire of seeing them over and over again. As one of my friends said, they truly are a work of art.
