My husband and I used Phodot Inc. as our engagement and wedding photographers. They were so amazing on both occasions! They toughed out our engagement pictures with us on a cold cold December day and did a great job capturing special moments between us. Then on our wedding day the did an incredible job, we had a fairly large and rowdy wedding party and they did a so well keeping everyone focused and took amazing and fun photos. We could not have been more happy with how they turned out. Stacy and Mark were a super fun couple to work with and did a great job making us feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera. I also found them to be very reasonably priced for how much time they spent with us and the fact that there were two of them! I would strongly recommend them for any future newlyweds still looking for a photographer!

Mark and Stacy were fun to work with and very laid back. I've been a part of many weddings and seen terrible photographers, this is not the case with Phodot. My family raved of the professionalism and their ability so see how the end picture will turn out. If you want quality pictures on your special day, go with Phodot!!!

Overall, we were pleased with the photos we received from this husband/wife duo. They showed up the day of and were ready to work, I also really liked their online tool so that they knew exactly what pictures I wanted. Even at the end of the night they asked me about the few pictures we missed to ensure that they didn't want us to get them before they left for the night. They were also very open to and attentive to the "pintrest" photos I wanted to capture that day. The cost was fair considering the amount of coverage we got for the whole day and number of pictures, however after reviewing the photos at home there were several photos I felt I need to crop myself. For example, many of our alter photos had our vocalist/pianist/vocalist in the background of almost all of them and almost all of them I was able to crop them out, but would have preferred if they did it with how much we were paying. They worked well together and was nice having 2 photographers instead of 1 photographer and an assistant. Also, we really liked that we got 1100 photos to pick from. Thanks Mark and Stacey for making our day a memorable one!

We are very happy with our photos from Stacy and Mark of Phodot. Specifically, we are very pleased with BOTH our engagement photos and of course, the pictures from the wedding. We have a plethora of high quality pictures that we can always look back on when remembering the big day. Mark and Stacy each followed from the getting-ready start of the day to the party-down end so looking through the pictures is like reliving it. Not only are there great photos of us but also of our families and friends enjoying the cocktail hour and reception. It really captured the warmth and happiness of the entire day. You always worry you might have someone cause stress for you as everything comes together. One never knows when a vendor might not deliver what was agreed upon or just be generally disappointing. Thankfully, Mark and Stacy were easy to work with, professional, and flexible. Not just that but their calm demeanor and attitude was assuring. They know what they are doing and we knew we were in good hands. I could not be more pleased with going with Phodot

Stacy and Mark captured every picture on our planning list and so much more! Stacy and Mark gave us a wonderful balance of formal and candid pictures that really captured every aspect of our wedding day. They are a great team and it was so nice to have two talented photographers to catch different angles and moments. Stacy and Mark were very organized, easy to communicate with, and professional during our planning process. I felt confident we had the details all in place ahead of time with the formal picture lists and follow up questionnaires we completed. I was pleased with the variety of backgrounds they incorporated, as well as how responsive Stacy and Mark were to "day of" requests like adding large group shot at the end of the ceremony. They did an excellent job of capturing all the details from our programs and place cards to my mom's ring I was wearing. They even had pictures of things I told my mom I didn't think they would have been around/have time to get! Additionally I was both surprised and very impressed at how many wonderful shots Stacy and Mark captured of groups of family and friends from the ceremony and especially at cocktail hour. One of the things that stuck out about Stacy and Mark's photography at the wedding fair was the quality of their dancing and indoor pictures. We have many great candid shots of my husband and I laughing and smiling during speeches as well as many dancing pictures with great lighting and focus. I couldn't be happier!

These two are awesome to work with! You can tell they take great pride in what they do. They were always prompt, polite and professional. The pictures they take are absolutely stunning, I would recommend this photography duo to anyone!!

Mark and Stacy were awesome to work with, we knew from our first meeting we wanted to go with them and didn't need to look any further. They're friendly and listen to all of your needs/wants and take them into consideration throughout the process. The day of our wedding they were there early and ready to get started, they had everything taken care of so I didn't need to worry about what needed to be done. It was a fun experience and most of all their work was amazing. It's impossible to choose a favorite picture and they give you the rights to the photos and an SD card of all the pictures so you don't have to. I highly recommend them.

Stacy and Mark photographed my sister's wedding 2 years ago and she had such a good experience, that I wanted to use them as well. Given how stressful wedding planning can be, Stacy and Mark were a breath of fresh air as they provided a professional and friendly experience from start to finish. The pre-wedding planning was well organized, including them personally scouting out the ceremony and reception locations so they knew the environments well. On the day of the wedding they worked well together to tackle the various photos requested, while also keeping it an efficient process so that the wedding day could stay on schedule. They knew how to set up lighting quickly, take pictures from multiple angles, and had a checklist to ensure they didn't miss any of my various requested family group shots. Post-wedding when we received the first set of pictures to review, I couldn't believe how many pictures they took without me even knowing it! They were truly invisible during the wedding, while still grabbing photos of all of the memorable parts of the day. This is exactly what a bride wants on a such a hectic day! They also had an option to put together a wedding book and that review/layout process, with today's technology, made it as easy as I could imagine. I highly recommend them for anyone who wants an organized, professional, friendly, and stress-free process that results in amazing photos, many of which I didn't even realize they took until after the event. 5 stars all the way. - Michelle

Mark and Stacy photographed our wedding in Sept 2013. My husband and I could not be happier with their work! They were incredibly easy and fun to work with, which made us feel very comfortable with them and resulted in wonderful, natural pictures. What's best is that after the portraits, we essentially forgot they were there yet they captured EVERY important moment of our day. It's wonderful that we were able to enjoy our wedding and still have amazing pictures of it -- though amazing is an understatement for the quality of their work. The pictures they took are not only top quality but also creative and timeless. I highly recommend them to any bride!!

Phodot was very professional, easy to work with, and provided high quality pictures. I live in a Western state and my wedding was in northern Minnesota. Phodot worked with me over the phone and email to make sure everything was perfect for the big day. They were incredibly professional in the way they worked with our families, the children, and the dog when preparing for pictures. I really appreciated that the package included two photographers. Between the two of them they were able to catch all the highlights of the day. I was very impressed with their willingness to travel to our wedding location for a minimal additional cost. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an excellent photographer. They are worth the price you pay!

Mark and Stacy did a fantastic job with our photography. They arrived when we wanted them to and they were able to walk around the church and find some wonderful spots to take pictures. We had a lot of family pictures to take and they were able to keep them moving along. We had both Mark and Stacy for the entire day, it was nice having two photographers there so we could have one do family photos while the other went with us so we could get more photos of just the two of us. I am very excited to get our proofs back, knowing that it will be a challenge to narrow it down for our art book that we plan on purchasing through them as well. I would highly recommend them!

Phodot was one of 3 photographers we seriously considered for our wedding. We were referred to them by friend who had used their services about a year and a half prior to our wedding date. After we met with all of our potential photographers my fiance and I both knew that Phodot would be perfect for us. The first thing I want to comment on is the quality and variety of the wedding albums they offer in their packages. Their books are far better than anything else we had seen. They were able to show us the different styles of weddings they had handled from casual backyard weddings to much fancier weddings, which I felt truly showcased their talents. My fiance and I were also impressed with how many questions they asked to help understand what WE wanted; other photographers had tried to put us in a box and we never got that impression with Phodot. Overall their pricing was comparable to all others were considering, but the quality of their end product and interest in giving us our perfect day is what won us over. We were married in June 2013 and could not be happier with the quality of our photos, the service we received, and how our memories of the best day of our lives were captured. We hired Mark and Stacy and having 2 photographers is the way to go, in my opinion. We got through photos so quickly and they arrived at our site ahead of time to scope out great areas for photo ops. We are so happy with their service an if we had to do it all over again we would not change our photographers and will recommend them to anyone getting married. These people are fantastic, incredibly talented, and wonderful to work with!

Mark and Stacy were great to work with. I really wanted to have our wedding pictures out side in a pretty location that was off site from both our ceremony and reception, they were more than willing to make this happen. The morning of our wedding it was extremely chilly and we were all frozen durning the pictures, I was honestly quite worried about how the pictures were going to turn out. Once I saw them they were absolutely remarkable. You couldn't tell that we were all frozen and miserable, they really got some neat and creative angles. I love love the way they turned out truely couldn't be happier. Also, they made us a slide show of pictures, and gave us a second disc of all the pictures in a beautiful personalized case that holds the disc with the release for the copy right to us on the back. I would highly recommend phodot.

Phodot Inc. did a great job with my wedding pictures ! Really made the photography part of the day fun from start to finish!!!

We hired Phodot to photograph our May wedding and it was among the best decisions we made. From the outset, they were receptive to our needs, creative in their suggestions, and highly professional. They made us feel like we were their only client and we feel doubly blessed because there were two people capturing all the events from our special day. Mark and Stacy were taking photographs well before the ceremony started and continued taking them long after it ended. Our pictures have been described as breathtaking and we happen to agree. Even our most un-photogenic relatives look good! We're thrilled with our custom video and we're still struggling to narrow down the photos that will make up our custom wedding album. Their prices are extremely reasonable and their end result is outstanding. We will definitely hire them again for our future photography needs.

After telling them about our interests and likes/dislikes, they found awesome locations that were exactly what we were looking for! They even went to those locations ahead of time to check them out and determine nice spots for photos! Both our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures turned out amazing, and they will last forever! We were so happy with how they looked! The pictures are top notch quality, and the products are the best of the best! In addition to giving us awesome service, products, and amazing results, Mark and Stacy and great people to work with! They are pretty cool people, and we had fun spending 8 hours of our wedding day with them! They also were really quick responding to my emails/questions, which I greatly appreciate. During our 9-12 months of planning - I sent Phodot a number of emails with questions, concerns, thoughts, etc., and they always got back to me right away! It's annoying working with vendors when it takes them days to respond to your emails! I definitely recommend hiring Phodot for your wedding or anytime you need a photographer. I will definitely hire them again in the future whenever we need a photographer again!

Mark and Stacy are great to work with! We loved them! Our engagement and wedding turned out way better than we could have ever imagined! They are easy to schedule with. They are very prompt.

Mark and Stacey were very flexible on meetings and where they met us. My husband works out of town a lot and they worked around our schedule. The took our ideas for pictures, but also brought many great ideas to the table. We met once before the wedding due to choosing not to do a engagement session. With not doing an engagement session they gave us the hours that would have been and added them on to our wedding hours. Otherwise we would have met with them multiple times before our wedding. They are very responsive to ideas, and if you have any questions they get back to you very quickly, and are always available by email. Before I chose them for our wedding I did a lot of research on photographers around the twin cities area. I looked into prices, quality, what you get for your price, and how many photographers you get. I knew I wanted two photographers. By far they were the most reasonably priced, and had the best quality of pictures. I am very pleased by their work and I would pick them again over and over no questions! Thank you Mark and Stacey for all you do!!!

We hired Stacy to take our wedding day pictures. She was amazing! She was fun, helpful, creative, respectful, and her pricing could not be beat! All of our other vendors told us how great she was to work with and our guests thought she was great as well. She did a great job of capturing the images we asked for, and still getting shots we didn't even think to ask about. It was so great looking through our pictures and seeing shots not just of us, but of all of our guests enjoying the wedding as well. Stacy did a great job.

I am so glad that we hired Stacy and Mark to shoot our special day! We met with several photographers, and they were very professional, yet fun and relaxed. On the day of our wedding, they did a great job of taking pictures in a timely manner before the wedding. And during the ceremony we didn't even notice they were there. They were very efficient, and creative. I forgot my list of photos that I wanted, and they were able to anticipate what we wanted, and also suggested some other shots that we didn't think about. They had many packages to chose from. We were able to find a package in our price range. They were totally worth the money! They turned about the photos from our engagement shoot and wedding shoot quickly, which was very nice! :) Their engagement shoot they did of us was beautiful, and our wedding looked amazing through their lens! We will be booking them again and again for our child's photos in the upcoming year.

My husband and I were married almost a year ago. Mark and Stacy were wonderful to work with - before, during and after the wedding. I am currently in graduate school out of town, and we got married in the middle of my semester (I always wanted a fall wedding), so we had to work around when I was in town. Mark and Stacy have been incredibly flexible and patient with us. They were wonderful at the wedding and captured memories that we will cherish for a life time. But what is even more incredible is how well they have worked with us afterwards. It's almost a year later, and my husband are still finalizing our wedding album because of my being in school and some pretty serious health issues. Mark and Stacy have been very helpful and relaxed about the whole process which has certainly taken a lot of pressure off of us to get it done. Yet when we have had time to work on the album, Mark and Stacy have been almost immediate at getting the work done and an updated digital sample sent to us. Overall, it has been a wonderful experience to work with Mark and Stacy.

Mark and Stacy were great to work with. From the start they were accommodating to our schedule in setting up an appointment to get to know them and determining if they were going to be a good fit for our engagement and wedding pictures. At the initial meeting we had a genuinely good time getting to know them, and the products their previous photo shoots showed what they are capable of producing (I highly recommend you give them a glance). We were very tuned into the fact that they were interested in our story and were interested in producing photographs that told our story, not a generic one. Again, to setup our engagement pics they were able to accommodate our schedule. We live in North Dakota but are getting married in St. Paul, MN so this has been huge for us. Per their original intentions they suggested some sites that were unique to our engagement story, not the popular city hangouts, and while we were at first unsure of this the photos mean so much more to us and we're forever grateful for that. During the actual photoshoot they kept the demeanor and general attitude lighthearted which kept my fiance and I at ease. The engagement pictures turned out great: the reflect our relationship and we're happy and eager to show them off. On top of that they invite you to their home to review the engagement pics to make sure they are what you wanted. What more could you ask for, they truly are not satisfied until you are. Admittedly we have gotten married yet so the actual ceremony and reception photo shoots have yet to occur. The fact that you get TWO photographers is an added bonus, and they have vocalized strategies for shooting the ceremony that will definitely leverage having two people with cameras in their hands. I highly recommend you simply give them a call and meet with them before selecting your photographer. They are true professionals and they keep it fun!

We LOVE our photos from both our engagement session and wedding day! The quality is out of this world! We are trying to pick photos for our album, but there are so many good ones it is taking a long time!

Mark and Stacy are a pleasure to work with! We just saw our engagement premiere and are in love with ALL 200+ pictures. Their use of light, angles, and sheer creativity is nothing like I've seen in other photographers. Best of all, they take the time to get to know you as a couple and tailor your pictures/premiere. We absolutely loved the premiere dvd, it's a great way to share the pictures with friends and family!!! (And the care and time that went into making it are blatantly obvious.) We can't wait for our wedding day to see the pictures Mark and Stacy will take then!

My fiance and I first discovered Phodot at the MN wedding fair. We loved their style of photography and that it was a husband/wife team that took the pictures. When we took our engagement pictures, they were very excited to share our love for the Renaissance by letting us do a photoshoot dressed up in our costumes. Our wedding is coming up in a few months and we are super excited to see what they have in store for our pictures!

I did a lot of research trying to find a good photographer in the right price range. Stacy and Mark were very professional, had great ideas, and made us laugh the entire night. I have been a photographer myself for weddings for 3 years and thought that finding the photographer for my own was going to be a challenge and they would have VERY high expectations to meet. Being a photgrapher myself has given me an insight on several must have questions to ask or things to do. 1. Make sure you meet your photographers in advance. If you don't click with them its not going to be a good photography session on your wedding day. This will show in your pictures if you are not comfortable with them. 2. Have a must have check list of photos you want taken. 3. Give the photographer a heads up if there are family dynamic issues to avoid or be aware of. 4. Most of all... have fun that day... joke around (but be respectful of the atmosphere) be playfull and enjoy the day. They will be able to capture those moments when you may not be looking or paying attention. I was more than thrilled with the results. The albulms are beautiful, they can do traditional and nontraditional, and the premier is a great representation of my entire day wraped into 5-10 minutes. I keep going back and reviewing my premiers (engagement and wedding) all the time. There are little zerps of video in them and that was so unique. I felt they were great to work with and met every one of my needs and even went above and beyond. I couldn't have been any happier with the results. I would chose them all over again and for future family photo sessions when the time comes. Well worth the investement.

We wanted things small and very intimate; they were flexible to our ideas. Stacy and Mark were very knowledgeable and prepared for the wedding, and engagement photos in regards to best views and lighting. They did an exceptionally job, Thoroughly executed; their work truly captured the day for us. We were even surprised and pleased by the entire package in which their work is presented. They are professionals and it shows. Their work also has a slight artistic edge to it that makes it particularly unique. I would highly recommend them!!

Hands down the best photographers in the midwest, possibly the country! We absolutely loved Mark and Stacy of Phodot! They provided everything that they said they would plus more. Their photography style is so relaxing that you don't even realize that they're taking pictures most of the time. The pictures turn out beautifully and everyone asks us where we got them done.
