My photography is meant for the modern adventurer’s, outdoorsmen & women, and all those in between who love to laugh and have nothing but a good time. Imperfections are meant to be captured and remembered because that is what makes the memories real. Capturing the uniqueness and essence of each individual couple is the heart of documentary photography. I believe in capturing your connection, devotion, and love for each other, in the most unique way possible. Your wedding ro elopement should be done your way. I’ll be there to document your laughter that turns to tears, your messy hair, wild dancing, and all the goofy socks the groomsmen decide to wear. No two weddings or elopements are the same, some are big, some are small, some are a mess beyond belief or everything goes as planned. I want to be there with you, and for the both of you not only as your photographer but as your friend.

She jumped in to help when we needed help buttoning up my dress and made sure we got photos signing our marriage license (we didn't have a day of coordinator, so that was super helpful!) Our wedding party and family kept commenting how friendly Phoebe was and how easy it was to get photos - Phoebe's calm but professional demeanor put everyone at ease! We got back a TON of sneak peeks in about a week and they are phenomenal - we can't wait to get the rest! Would highly recommend Phoebe for any occasion and we hope to use her again in the future for family photos!

aditional day. We loved Phoebe's approach as more of "documentary" style photography (though she can do great posed photos too, of course!) She is professional and relaxed, fun, takes beautiful artful images, and is a joy to work with. She even pitched in with some of the wedding day things that were definitely not in the job description (totally not expected, but it was really kind of her). She was great at wrangling family for the few posed images we did, and completed them in record time. We've only seen the preview images so far and they already completely capture our day, beautifully (i.e. we'd be happy even if those are all that we got - even though we can't wait to see the rest!). We can't say enough about how wonderful Phoebe is and how lucky northern Michigan/the UP is to have her (or hire her to go with you on a destination wedding! It's worth it!).

When my husband and I first met over Zoom with her to discuss her style, packages, etc., we definitely got the sense that she would match our vibe. We wanted the majority of our shots to be candid and to encapsulate us as people which Phoebe nailed. We had an outdoor ceremony and she definitely helped capture the beauty of our hometown.

ut to Phoebe based on an instagram search. Phoebe’s communication was awesome, and being local to Marquette she knew the good spots to take pictures. Phoebe was so personable and easy to work with on our big day! Her photos captured my husband and I’s personalities so well and she went along with our places we wanted to get photos at! With only 18 people attending our wedding, it was important to me to make it still feel like a big day. And Phoebe’s pictures have me feeling like, “holy cow- these are MY wedding photos”! Phoebe and I met a month or so before the wedding to go over the wedding day timeline together and to pick some locations for taking photos. On the wedding day, she was with us for the entire day. It was so wonderful that she was there to capture every moment. She edited and returned our photos to us very quickly. Since our wedding, we have also had Phoebe take maternity pictures and pictures of our son when he was 7 months old. Every experience has been amazing! I highly recommend Phoebe -- she is fantastic to work with and such a fun and talented person!
