Phoenix DJ & Sound (Curtis)

We recently got married and we’re very excited to book with Curtis; however, the experience was not as we hoped. Several times, he stated that he was nervous he had double booked my wedding date. When discussing music for the ceremony, he said he couldn’t access it through multiple platforms and never said what he would be able to pull music from. The day we had a conference to discuss music for the wedding, he forgot about it until we called and texted him and he finally got back to us 45 min later. He was unfamiliar with anything about the wedding during the meeting even though my planner had been communicating with him and sent him the timeline. He was an hour and a half late to the wedding and was rude to guests and did not play songs that were requested by my husband and I or any of the guests.

We recently used Curtis for our daughter’s wedding and he was fabulous! From the first time talking with him on the phone to the wedding day he was so easy to talk to and very accommodating to play the music we requested. He set up sound for our outdoor ceremony and kept the reception lively and entertaining from the wedding party entrance until the last dance and send off! He even jumped out on the dance floor and danced with us. He has got some great dance moves. He is also reasonably priced. If you need a DJ, Curtis is your man! You will not be disappointed.

DJ Curtis was incredible and made our wedding unforgettable. Communication was excellent, he got in touch multiple times before the wedding to discuss our plans for the ceremony and reception. He provided and ran the sound system for the live music at our outdoor ceremony and was then the DJ for our indoor reception. When needed, he was flexible with his plans and able to roll with it. At the reception, he found a way to please ALL age groups and got everyone out on the dance floor at some point throughout the night. Everyone had so much fun! DJ Curtis was a pleasure to work with; I highly recommend for your wedding or any special event.

Curtis was the DJ for our wedding yesterday and he did a phenomenal job. From the start of inquiring and speaking with him on the phone to confirming music and details he made sure he knew what music we wanted on our big day! He also provided a mic for the officiant and made sure to be there on time to set up and prepare for pre ceremony, ceremony, and reception music. He was fun and really great to get people up for the bouquet toss, garter toss, and to dance! Book him and you won’t regret it!

Curtis was a delight to work with and made the wedding and reception go very smoothly. He was good on keeping an upbeat spirit of the evening and giving everyone direction on what was happening next. Totally happy with Curtis and would certainly recommend him!
