I'm a farmer-florist who fell into flower farming by over planting my backyard one summer. Now I run a 'blooming' business selling flowers to florists and the public. However, creating wedding flowers takes the cake for me. I get to be apart of a love story, play with beautiful local blooms as an artistic medium, and make dreams come true by transforming any space with florals. It's the most rewarding when our farm grown dahlias get to shine. 90 events later and I love it. On a personal note- I married my college sweetheart, Aral. We started this dream together.

Jess was amazing! Couldn't recommend her enough! She worked with me to stay within my budget with no issues. I reached out to at least 3-4 other florists and all were giving me prices that were out of my range and/or asking me to reduce what I wanted/envisioned. I gave her loose guidelines with flowers, especially my bouquet -- I just wanted it to match my bridesmaid's dresses and it all turned out so beautiful/perfect! Plus, she was just such a kind, calm and reassuring presence who you can really tell love flowers and loves what she does. So happy I found her to do the flowers for my wedding!

Jess was a dream to work with from start to finish. She was so willing to collaborate with my mom and I on the wedding vision and brought a ton of ideas on how to best decorate the space, which flowers to use, arch design, bouquets, etc. She answered our many questions and her work was gorgeous. The wedding felt like a floral dream, and I was just so thankful for how Jess and her team worked to make our day so lovely.

Phoenix Hill absolutely blew us away with their wedding flowers! We asked for seasonal/fall colors, and they went above and beyond! The arrangements and bouquets were breathtaking, and I don’t think I’ll ever find another flower arrangement that compares. They were so easy to work with and even helped us out with our last-minute request. Not only that, but they were incredibly caring, sweet, and I could totally feel the love they put into our flowers. It was a real treat to chat with both of them before and after the event. I would highly recommend Phoenix Hill and would definitely order from them again if we ever find ourselves back in Louisville. Oh, and guess what? We were traveling and couldn’t take the flowers with us, so we decided to spread the love by passing them out to locals over the weekend. These flowers made their way throughout the city of Louisville and brought joy to everyone they met. We ordered two arrangements for the ceremony, an additional table arrangement, and two bouquets for our mothers.

Would strongly recommend Phoenix Hill Flower Farm for your wedding floral needs. The owner, Jessica Bush is extremely conscientious and creative. She met with my daughter several times to discuss and create the floral arrangement. She designed the most beautiful bouquets and table centerpieces. The sweetheart table was absolutely gorgeous. She was able to take my daughter’s description and visualizations and turn them into a reality. Everything was done on time, and according to our budget; every request we made was greeted with a smile.

If you are looking for a florist for your event, look no further! The florals Phoenix Hill Flower Farm put together our wedding were absolutely gorgeous, vibrant and fresh. All of our guests continued to rave about how beautiful they were! They were the highlight of all of our wedding photos and I will admire them for years to come. In addition to the amazing blooms, Jess and her team are so easy to work with. They are kind, professional and put so much effort in to bringing your vision to life. I love that they grow their own florals, and source local blooms for what they don’t grow. I can’t express enough how much I appreciated Jess and her team, and I hope I get to enjoy many more of Phoenix Hill Flower Farms wonderful bouquets in the future!

We used Phoenix Hill Flower Farm twice, once for each of my daughters weddings. My oldest daughter didn't really have a vision of what she wanted, only colors, and Jess was amazing, working with her to come up with a plan. My youngest daughter had more of a plan/idea and also worked well with Jess and her crew. So easy and accommodating....I never felt like I had to "babysit" or monitor what was happening. They really made it effortless and allowed me to concentrate on other things. We also had to have the venue cleaned up that night....her crew came back, cleaned everything up and was able to reuse some of the flowers the next day for a different event.
