t is the best. The picture looks gorgeous and natural. More importantly, he is patient and friendly. He didn't mind the photography ran over time a little. But it took a long time to get the final pictures, because he is super busy. I hope the retouching effect could be better.

shoot. We ran into his profile on Weibo and were really impressed by the photos he put on his personal page. So we decided to contact him and try him out. We met at a cafe in San Francisco to go through the details of the photo shoot. Turned out he was very thoughtful, meticulous and professional, so we believed he would be the right guy for the job.
He is very good at what he does. We had our photos taken at 5 places in the bay area for two days. He did a perfect job taking us to the perfect places, showing us the perfect pose, picking the perfect angle...etc. Everything was perfect. He is so good at recording every memorable moment of love, happiness and intimacy that not only the photos he took but also the entire two-day trip will be one of the most sweet and unforgettable memories in my life.

for a photographer. I am gonna say Wang was really really a talented photographer and patient guy with no doubt ! We had our photo shoot at the phuket per his suggestion. He was professional, easygoing, creative, interesting, and great for living together. We got the shoot at the bay, but he was willing to go anywhere in the island to shoot, some places was just amaing . if you guys wanna see the photo, I am pleased to share some LOL.

s very nice and we had a meeting together in person to discuss about the details of the service and chat a lot. On that day, his wife Winka was his assistant, and I drove my car together with my wife and them. We chose around 5 spots in SF: a small hill near his home, city hall, golden gate bridge, Palace of Fine Arts and downtown SF. It took us around 6-7 hours (3:00pm - 10:00pm) to complete the whole process. He used Nikon D3S and professional lens. The pictures were really nice even before PS. He gave us all the original photos and PSed photos after several weeks. All are in very good quality. To put it this way, as a amateur fan of photography myself, I dream of taking photos like these. His photos are not stereotyped like different people in the same background, he values the natural way instead of posing, and that's what I like. hootings, portraits, landscapes are beyond "technically perfect", but more, warm,natural and filled with love. That's is the reason why I did not have an alternative option for my wedding photographer and it's definitely would be Phoenix.
Phoenix did a perfect job on our destination wedding at koh Samui, Thailand. He's very professional that walked into the sea to take photos; He's very talent with lighting and we have perfect photos in sunset, sunrise and even starry night; He's nice and we spent several nights drinking and talking together on the beach. He recorded every memorable, decisive moments with smiles, tears and love.
I look through Phoenix's photos time and time again and recommended him to many of my close friends. Some couples even fly to US for pre-wedding shootings by Phoenix.
I am definitely satisfied with Phoenix and would highly recommend him again here to couples going to get married.

To be frank, I am not a professional photographer so couldn't provide comment in terms of technical capabilities like exposure, white balance, contrast etc. However I did pick the photographer for my pre-wedding session on selective basis from amateurs’ perspective. After reviewing Phoenix preceding portfolio, I ended up choosing him in that I put faith into his power and gift -- the creation instead of imitation of photo shoot. Fortunately I made the correct decision.
Apparently I was astonished by the time when Phoenix sent through my pre-wedding photo package. Pics in lake tahoe and sf are completely off the charts in the sense that I never thought they could be shot in that way. I understand he was renowned for his vibrant photography when he was in Asia several years ago, but didn't realize he is warm-hearted as well until I met him in person. It was an extremely fascinated experience to have him as my pre-wedding photographer.

We finally became real world friends. He told me he decided to go to San Francisco to learn professional photography. To me - this is the least unexpected thing that happened to him. In San Francisco, he took lots of unbelievable beautiful pictures of the lovely city and met his love in life. The most amazing part is that he even took his wedding photos by himself. You know what, he was born with the ability of capturing the moment of love. And thus, he became the only person I want to shoot for my pre-wedding photos in the city where he lives in.
Before the Christmas of 2013, my fiance and I flew to San Francisco with my wedding dress packaged. The old friend that I haven’t seen for years, was waiting right outside the airport. It was planned to be a 3-day shooting. He acted as our tour guide, our driver, our bag carrier and our photographer. I mentioned I loved the city with golden bridge and tram car. Soon he found the best spot for us. The photos you see in the Lake Taheo, in Stanford, in Capitola and in Big Sur are all taken by this super man, within 3 days. We love those photos so much.
Phoenix is such a man - do one thing in a lifetime and do it best.
