ore the wedding. I was incredibly lucky that when we did set a date, that this incredible venue were free. My fiance and his mother went to see the place and meet with Cindy, the events manager and they instantly felt like it was the right place. The location is beautiful, set in wonderful golfing grounds, next to a beautiful lake. You get the place all to yourself, and no-one else is booked for the same day which is lovely. This means you can have the timing suit yourself, and you can arrive whenever you want. They have lovely inside and outside venues, I was lucky enough to get perfect weather for the outside wedding. They have a white arch-thing they put out for you to stand by and they decorated it for me tastefully with while tulle. Cindy was incredibly helpful, especially as I was only able to meet her three weeks before. Having the ceremony and reception here made it all so easy to organise, with the minimum of extra planning needed. We had 75 people at the wedding and the ballroom was perfect for this smaller size - we would have drowned in a larger ballroom. The tables looked lovely and the room has a lot of windows which we liked because during the early portion there was lovely light and views of the lake and parkland. Our photos really benefited from the outside locations. I really love the layout of the inside - the building is just the right size so that everything is close - as you enter the foyer is also a bar (a real bar, not just tables which I really liked) which is open plan into the first dining room, and the two together form the cocktail reception with a veranda overlooking the lake. The outdoor venue for ceremony is right outside this dining room, in front of the lake, and the ballroom opens from the bar area, so it is so easy to flow naturally from each stage of the wedding. The food was great and the chef designed some truffles for the dessert buffet that I had opted for (an upgrade form the regular package). All in all this was the perfect place for us - everything included and planned so very little extra work for me with lots of help yet the ability to customise things if I wanted. Beautiful location, perfect service, wonderful staff. I honestly couldn't say enough - thanks to them my wedding was perfect!

course. There is a separate small dining room where the cocktail reception takes place and the bar is a fun and interesting location also. There is a room used as a bridal suite for you to stay in until your entrances. Susan & Tom, who are the special events team, couldn't have been more helpful throughout the entire planning process. They helped make our reception everything we had dreamed of. We even used a hotel and baker nearby who were recommended by the Country Club and we loved them also! We were even able to arrange to go to the Club for our engagement photos and Susan showed up early on a Saturday in the snow to help us with them! Can't say enough good things about Phoenixville.
