ning my wedding myself with family miles away. This was integral in my day running smoothly and I would have had no idea where to start without her. The day of she was early and was amazing at guiding everyone (family, husband and I, family, etc.) through the series of photos we took. To say these all turned out incredible is an absolute understatement. She knows what she's doing and it shows in every shot. I don't think I'm particularly photogenic but she had me looking incredible in these photos, as well as everyone else. She was ALL OVER during the wedding and reception but I barely saw her, which was awesome. By that I mean, she subtly captured every moment and was not intrusive. My guests commented that she never stopped moving but that they'd turn to find her behind them having just captured a beautiful moment. I cannot stress this enough, but she is worth EVERY PENNY as she made my day seamless. Not only that, but within 2 days, she had a preview of the wedding photos for me and a week later, she had them all ready for me. I know people who got married over 6 months ago and still do not have their photos! Do not skimp on this part of your wedding and do yourself a favor and use Chana and Don!

Or she'd hide somewhere (we lost her during one of the photo sessions...more than once!) so she could catch us just being happy and being ourselves. The photos were ready in less than 2 weeks. 629 photos taken in the duration of 5 hours....we got them all, and love them all! If you are looking for naturally-edited photos with a preference for candids, Chana is the one!

The photos are amazing, great variety. I know some people who wait WEEKS maybe a month or two to receive all of their wedding photos, but we got our "sneak peak" (50 photos!!!!) a day later! INSANE. We got all of our photos within a week. The only thing I would change, is that I wish I would have paid her to stay later to get more dancing photos. Our wedding timeline was way behind schedule so the dancing was late as well. After she left, a lot more people started dancing (that is not correlated to her leaving though. It probably had more to do with the drinking helping people let loose). Thank you for our amazing photos Chana!

r wedding day. My fiancé and I had had our worst nightmare happen: our photographer bailed just 2 months before the wedding. We desperately searched around, just hoping we could find someone available whom we could afford. Thankfully, we connected with Chana! What struck me first was how organized Chana was. I’d given her my date, venue, the size of my bridal party, number of guests. She came back with a slew of totally helpful information: she told me she’d worked the venue before, offered me a timeline, provided a Q & A sheet that included every question I should have asked our first photographer. Before we signed her on, I had already started breathing again. What’s even more amazing is that all our communication was virtual— we Skyped—yet I totally knew we were in good hands. She’s so friendly, enthusiastic, prepared, professional. I had no doubt that she was on it—and she was. On the day, she was gentle yet firm, somehow guiding even the most awkward guests such that she got fabulous shots. I didn’t have to worry or think about a thing to do with the shot list, but she was perfectly ready to grab some people I wanted to capture. I look at our photos literally every day; she captured everything, so looking through them is like seeing a story, or a movie, of the day. Awesome! Balboa Park. She made us feel so comfortable and got extremely creative with the shots. And on the wedding day she was very organized and made sure to get pictures of all the little details. She was also very cooperative with our wedding coordinator and easy to get ahold of. The best part, she’s fast!! We got our engagement and wedding photos back edited in less than a week of each session. This is rare! Usually wedding photographers take a month or longer to edit the pictures. I would absolutely hire Chana for another party or event. She is a wonderful and talented person. Thank you Chana for making our wedding photos easy and beautiful!!!

Our families were also difficult with various strained relationships that my husband and I were very worried about, since everyone is all at one location for a wedding. Chana was able to handle everyone and still manage to keep everyone smiling for the pictures. We can’t tell you how much of a relief that was, since we hoped for the best but prepared for the worst. When we decided we didn't want a videographer, we knew that the photographer would be instrumental to capturing so much of our wedding - and Chana and Don absolutely delivered!! Throughout the planning process for our actual wedding, Chana kept in constant communication with us, and answered any questions we may have had about things such as ideal photo group shots for the big day, and which dress colors would photograph best, and more! Her wedding day timeline helped make our photo sessions feel super organized, and offered so many options for us to get as many perfect shots as possible - even having us wander into a garden to get some of the loveliest photos of the evening! Also, as we are from the East Coast and wanted some classic sunset photos of the two of us, Chana did everything in her power to deliver truly breathtaking photos. While I didn't get to spend as much time with Don, as he worked with the groomsmen while Chana photographed the bridal party, his photos also showed how talented he is and how much fun the group had. Lastly, the turn-around time for receiving our photos was incredible! We got almost all of our photos less than a week after our wedding - we are still grinning from such a special day, and are so grateful to this pair for being able to capture every single moment.

We were so stoked when our photos came back just a few days later - we ended up using one on our "Save the Dates" and received numerous compliments on the photo. Chana was very good at checking in with us throughout the planning, ensuring she had all of the information she needed and that we were on the same page in terms of who's who and day-of timeline. On the day-of, Chana did not disappoint. She tirelessly took photos of us, our wedding party, and guests for 7 straight hours! Most of the time I didn't even realize she was there! Chana's quality of photos and directiveness were essential on our big day. We didn't want to take any posed photos during cocktail hour, so she worked quickly and efficiently to take all of our posed photos before the ceremony. After the ceremony she was all over the place taking candids of all of our guests -- she even got down on the ground and laid in tanbark to catch a shot of us with the sunset - we loved her dedication! We really appreciated that Chana was fun and easy to work with, but also wore her business hat the day-of to make sure the proper photos were taken and that photos take up too much of our wedding night. l their reviews, and narrowed my search down to two possibilities - Chana and another local photographer, who was slightly less money. I showed my husband (then fiance) both photographers' portfolios and asked him which he liked, and he immediately chose Chana. He said he could tell the photos were just better and didn't need photoshop to look good. I told him the price difference between the two photographers and he said to definitely go with Chana. So, we did! Chana was early for both our engagement shoot and our wedding. (You do not know how amazing this is until you are a nervous bride looking at the clock, wondering if you'll have enough time to get everything done.) She was excellent at getting my husband and I to look natural. We had our dog for both shoots and she got some incredible pictures of him, too! She knows the good spots to go to get awesome pictures. Our most breathtaking photos were at places she suggested. She is also very flexible and willing to work with you - for example, we postponed our engagement shoot two days before and she was totally cool about it, and quick to offer up new dates. Chana also was excellent about keeping in touch just enough, so she wasn't bombarding me, but I also wasn't worried she had forgotten about me. She's also very quick to respond whenever you email her. However, one of the best things about Chana is how fast she works. We had wedding sneak peeks a week just under after our wedding (and a good amount of them, too!), and ALL our wedding pictures two weeks after the wedding. She had our engagement pictures back to us in TWO DAYS. You would never guess she worked that fast with how nice the pictures look. I do not hesitate to recommend Chana to anyone!

were SO HAPPY to meet Chana. We told her a little bit about what we were planning for our ultra-small wedding at Paradise Point in San Diego and she immediately “got it.” Chana knew the venue well and had some examples of previous wedding photos she had shot there for us to see. On the day of the wedding, Chana was totally on top of EVERYTHING. We planned our pre-wedding photos of the groom/groomsmen and bride/bridesmaids separately that went right up to the ceremony time, but Chana knocked them all out so efficiently and quickly that we all got to the ceremony EARLY! Chana knew exactly what to do and where to go and those pics ended up being some of our favorites from that day. Chana has the best attitude and her enthusiasm comes through when you’re working with her. She totally got the “relaxed, fun” spirit of our wedding and her poses for our pictures reflected that. We love our pictures and are so happy with our choice of having Chana document that special day for us.

s were we knew we wanted them to be our photographers. Chana took our engagement pictures at Sunset Cliffs and the pictures were amazing! We loved how detailed she was and how comfortable we felt with her. It was like a friend was taking our pictures! We got the engagement pictures super fast too! We hired both Chana and Don for our wedding since we wanted Chana with me and the girls while we got ready and wanted Don with my now husband and the guys. They did a great job capturing candid shots while we all got ready! We didn't do a first look but we had pictures taken of each of us when we first saw each other as I walked down the aisle and it was awesome! Chana & Don were SO detailed and they made taking pictures fun! It was SO great having Chana take pictures of us after the ceremony while Don went around and took pictures of our guests. For the reception Chana & Don did an amazing job capturing EVERYTHING and having two photographers gave us difference perspectives and covered more ground in less time. I cannot tell you know awesome it is to have two photographers take your wedding pictures! We received some teaser pictures like a day after the wedding and then received ALL of the pictures just a few days later, super fast! The pictures were BEAUTIFUL! Absolutely LOVE them!! Engagement session: My fiancee and I had hectic days before our engagement session but Chana's warm manner put us at ease. Her masterful eye captured many beautiful moments. My friends and family loved our photos! Wedding: Chana captured my family's love and excitement in shot after shot of our wedding. She was incredibly non-invasive yet, like a ninja, she captured everything, even moments I didn't know about until I saw the pictures! She has an artist's eye and took many unique arrangements that told a story by themselves. I had many extra requests for group shots (a big group shot of all of our friends and family, and different combinations of our family and friends). Chana handled them like a pro and even finished ahead of schedule! I heard so many horror stories from my fellow brides about the photographer taking endless photos but Chana got amazing shots of us with incredible efficiency. There is nobody else that I would have preferred to have as my photographer on my wedding. Thank you so much Chana for capturing memories that I will share with my family for years to come :)

around. We had all the photos before we even got back from our honeymoon. I think the only thing that would keep it from 5 stars is that we wish we could have had more family photos. Although she did not keep us from taking more, we wanted to have a list so that none were missed and she assured us that no list was needed. Unfortunately this resulted in us missing a few combos that we would have really wanted to have. Outside of family combos (probably 3), everything else worked out perfectly well. She was always on time, took great photos, had a fantastic turn around, and seemed to be a great value. I would strongly suggest you have Chana do your photos. My only other suggestion would be to maybe just clarify better before hand and specific combos you want to make sure are taken just to make sure everyone is on the same page or maybe have your coordinator have a list to check off and catch any "missed" combos just in case.

! I loved the energy that both Chana and Don had and after talking to them for a bit, I finally looked at their photos -- It was a done deal! This duo knows exactly how to capture those special moments AND those fun, candid ones! I called Chana and reserved her and Don for our wedding even though it was over a year away. I knew Chana had the perfect bubbly, fun personality, but when she found out we were doing our ceremony and reception aboard the Flagship's California Princess ship, I think she literally jumped for joy! haha It had been years since she'd done a harbor cruise wedding. Originally, we were not going to do an engagement shoot but the more I thought about it, I knew it was best for us to have worked with Chana prior to the big day. My then fiance was not happy -- he does not like having his picture taken and he hates being posed. But he agreed, and honestly the two of us had a BLAST during our beach shoot and after he said to me 'ok, that was fun!' And that is when I knew I couldn't have made a better decision for our wedding! I was right, Chana and Don were amazing during our entire wedding day and they truly captured the day -- the smiles, the laughs, the tears (of joy). And our guests loved them too! Equally as important, she is VERY responsive and organized; whenever I would email her with questions, her responsiveness (and enthusiasm!!) was impeccable. I was worried our engagement shoot at Crystal Pier would be awkward, having never had a professional photoshoot before, but Chana made us feel at ease and guided us through every step of the way. The photos were stunning and I got SO many compliments on them! The day of our wedding, she captured the decorations, group photos, candid moments, and minute details that I didn't even get to see!!! None of our guests noticed she was there, yet she managed to get every single memory.
