If I could recommend one vendor to capture your life’s most important moments, it would be Lorena. Lorena is the best in the business and I am so happy that I chose to work with he...
r for our engagement and wedding.
I first discovered Lorena on instagram when I was in the thick of wedding planning. I came across her page and instantly fell in love with her work and talent. I quickly reached out and from our first Zoom meeting, I knew I wanted her to be the one to capture our big day. Aside from her obvious talent, behind the camera, Lorena is the sweetest, most down to earth person. Wedding planning is so stressful but she made it less about the stress and more about the excitement of the big day.
I originally had another engagement shoot set up with a family friend before I met with Lorena, but I decided that I wanted to work with her before our wedding and I am so happy I booked an engagement shoot with her. From the start she made us both feel so comfortable; we are not used to being behind the camera since this was our first photoshoot.
For our actual wedding, Lorena and her second photographer, Kelvin, were absolute superstars. They managed to get all of our first look photos and the majority of our family portraits done before the ceremony started. We had such a large list of family portraits and they worked so hard to get them done. I have been getting endless compliments from friends and family that Lorena and Kelvin were the most “non invasive” photographers they have ever seen at a wedding. Their professionalism and warmth put everyone at ease, which really shows in the photos. Our family and friends couldn’t stop raving about how seamlessly Lorena worked throughout the day. They were organized, patient, and knew exactly how to make us all look our best. We were so impressed by their professionalism and organization for the amount of people we had to take photos with.
We just received our final album and I am absolutely blown away. I have never felt more beautiful in photos before and she exceeded all of our expectations. Lorena’s attention to detail is flawless. Every important moment, from the intimate glances to the laughter-filled group shots, was beautifully framed and lit, giving us timeless memories we’ll cherish forever. She has such a remarkable ability to capture the raw emotions of the day without ever feeling intrusive, and the result was a perfect balance of candid moments and artistic portraiture. She was able to tell the story of our day so beautifully. I cannot wait until I can work with Lorena again, hopefully in the very near future!! Thank you for making our wedding the day we will remember for the rest of our lives.
We can't recommend Lorena enough. From our engagement session, she made us feel completely at ease in front of the camera, and the photos turned out so fun and beautiful. They got ...
us even more excited for the wedding.
Before the big day, Lorena did a venue walkthrough with us, and we mapped out all the spaces and the vision we had in mind. So when the wedding actually arrived, she and her team showed up fully prepared and ready to go.
Throughout the day, her professionalism really stood out. She wasn't just directing gorgeous shots, she was checking in on us, making sure we had water, and just genuinely looking out for us. You can tell she cares about the couples she works with, not just getting the perfect photo.
We got our previews less than a week after the wedding, and they're stunning. We can't wait to see the full gallery!
If you're looking for a photographer who's incredibly talented and genuinely cares about you on your big day, Lorena is your person.
Lore was so wonderful to work with. We got married at Gurney's in Montauk which is a complicated venue with it's property size and the amount of location options but Lore and co. n...
avigated these challenges seamlessly. She also kept me incredibly calm on the actual day. She helped me get into my dress when we couldn't do the buttons, she gave me helpful suggestions and was honest when some originally planned visions wouldn't be the best choice. Her photographs are also stunning. I requested a pretty low-key photography day with more candid style photos and she did not disappoint. She was organized with the larger family photos and they went by so quickly so we had more time to focus on other moments. Not only was she a huge personal support on the wedding day but she captured incredible memories that I haven't been able to stop looking at. Thank you, Lore!!
Couldn't have asked for a better wedding photographer!!! Hiring Photo by Lore was the best decision we ever made. She captured our wedding day (and engagement shoot!) so beautifull...
y. Lorena goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and to get the most perfect shots on your special day. She doesn't miss a single detail!!! Lorena is beyond talented at what she does and we feel so grateful to have had her as our wedding photographer. We could not have imagined our wedding day without her!!! 10/10 recommend!!!
Booking with Lore was the best decision my husband and I made for our wedding. I stumbled across her page in 2023 and fell in love with her talent. Although our wedding wasn't unti...
l 2025 we chose to book her 2.5 years out, the first vendor that we booked with! It was the BEST decision we made.
Lore genuinely cares about her clients and treats them like friends. Throughout those 2.5 years she wished my husband and I happy birthday, she cheered us on when we reached milestones, and she was so involved up until the day of our wedding. She always made us feel important and that's what makes Lore stand out from anyone else.
My husband and I aren't the most comfortable in front of a camera and Lore made sure that we were always comfortable. I especially appreciated that she had us fill out questionnaires so she can continuously learn more about us to make sure she could make us feel as comfortable as possible. On the day of our engagement shoot we were running 30 minutes late to Central Park, as soon as we got there it started completely down pouring. Immediately, Lore offered to reschedule with us, although it was our fault for being late. She didn't even blink an eye and stood with us under an awning in the rain to find a new date and location for our engagement shoot. The pictures came out absolutely beautiful.
Working with Lore on our wedding day was just as amazing. It was truly inspiring to watch her work because she is so talented. Her eye and vision is unbelievable. We are so excited to see the rest of our pictures because the sneak peeks were incredible.
Lore was truly the best vendor that we worked with on our wedding and it has been such a pleasure to get to know her. I always felt that I was cared for and that my husband and I were in good hands with her. She is very professional, responsive, communicative and kind. We are so thankful to have had her be such a huge part of our special day. We are so glad we followed our gut in 2023 and booked her right away!
We hired Lore initially to do our engagement photos after receiving a referral from a friend who had also used her for their engagement photos. My fiancee and I were both pretty ne...
rvous about this because we had never gotten professional photos done and we were worried that things would feel too staged and that photos may not come out well. Enter Lore who not only is an incredibly talented photographer, but does an even better job making you feel comfortable in your own skin, and you forget she is even there. We did our engagement photos in both Central Park as well as the UWS in the city. After only 5-10 minutes with her, it's easy to go with the flow, and focus on your partner (which is what it's all about). Our engagement photos came out amazing, and she did such a great job that we then hired her for our wedding photos in Long Island City (Queens). Lore was very thoughtful in helping to plan all the photos we wanted to take the day of our wedding (with family, friends, bridal party, etc), and so far we've seen the Sneak Peaks (~100-150 photos), and we can't wait to see the full set of photos because she CRUSHED it! She really captured the most beautiful moments from our day. Her assistant, Leo, was also extremely talented and he followed the groomsmen around and took great photos and portraits. Could not recommend Lore any more!!!
Our favorite vendor!!! From the very first phone call we knew Lore would be such a special part of our day. The planning could not have been easier and she answered every question ...
we had along the way! On the day of, Lore and her second shooter were energetic, kind, and so fun to work with. She helped wrangle our large bridal party with such ease and everyone raved about how great she was at organizing the shots. The photos speak for themselves and you can feel the love in each shot. There were parts of the day that she shot that I didn’t even know she captured - the candids are absolutely incredible! Thank you to Lore for capturing such beautiful moments and for being such a treasure to work with! We are beyond grateful!
Working with Lorena for our wedding was so easy and special. We had a very large wedding party so did not do traditional photos, and Lorena was able to not only control the large g...
roup but get creative for some unique group shots that we loved. The second photographer Leo that she brought was also so kind and easy to work with. The photos they both took are beautiful and they captured our day perfectly with shots that felt genuine and natural. I would highly recommend working with Lorena for your wedding!
Hiring Lore was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day!
From the very beginning, she made the entire process so easy and enjoyable. Our engagement shoot with ...
her was an amazing experience. She instantly put us at ease, guided us when we needed it, and captured such natural photos. That shoot alone gave us so much confidence that we had found the perfect photographer for our wedding.
When our wedding came, she went above and beyond in every possible way. She brought the perfect mix of professionalism, creativity, and fun energy that made the day feel effortless. Even in a state of emergency flood warning (!!) She knew exactly how to keep everything flowing while still allowing genuine, candid moments to happen.
We had admired her style from her portfolio, but when we received our own photos, we were completely blown away. Every picture feels like a piece of art while still capturing the true emotions of the day. On top of that, she sent us sneak peeks so quickly, which was so exciting and let us relive the magic almost immediately.
Looking back, choosing Lore was hands down one of the best choices we made during wedding planning. She is incredibly talented, reliable, and such a joy to be around. If you’re looking for someone who will not only deliver authentic & editorial photos but also make your day more enjoyable, don’t hesitate, book her!! It will be one of the best decisions you make:)

that we could go and enjoy our night with our guests. She made sure we got all the shots we needed and then got candids of us enjoying our night! 10/10!

hing we wanted.
She captured every single moment with such attention to detail. I really wanted natural photos that were captured candidly and she absolutely nailed it! They managed to be everywhere without ever feeling intrusive, which made the whole experience feel effortless and relaxed.
We’re honestly blown away by how beautifully everything was captured.
We couldn’t have asked for a better person to document our favorite day.
Lorena is an exceptionally talented photographer! She is accommodating, kind, creative and so dedicated to capturing your event exactly as you’d like. Communication with Lorena was...
a breeze. She ensured every detail was the way we wanted it and also had very helpful tips for us so we could showcase our wedding the way we wanted to. Lorena’s assistant was so kind and kept the day feeling light and special. Lorena had excellent advice for us on timing of photos and quickly organized large groups of people to take photos even with the quickly fading December sunset and the cold- to make sure we had minimal work to do and so we could truly enjoy our special day. The photos came back so quickly! Probably my absolute favorite part of the experience were the personal touches- she took Polaroid photos and gifted us them at the end of the night with a personalized note. We are so grateful to have worked with Lorena on our wedding and we would without a doubt recommend her for yours !
I can't recommend Lore enough! She shot both our engagement photos and our wedding day, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Before booking, I spoke with her ...
extensively, and it was clear she takes the time to understand exactly what you’re looking for. She even helped us plan out the timeline of our day, which was super helpful! On the wedding day, she captured all the important bridal party and family photos, along with amazing candid shots and fun party moments. Her eye for detail is incredible, and she made us feel so comfortable, which really showed in the final photos. We received our photos quickly, and they were everything we hoped for and more! If you’re looking for a talented photographer who truly cares about her clients, I highly recommend Lore. She’s simply the best!

She got the perfect amount of planned shots to candids. As for her work, the pictures speak for themselves. From beautiful family shots, candid moments, couples poses and more, she can do it all! Working with her was the best thing I did for my wedding and I can’t wait to look at these pictures for years to come!

gh the entire process. We booked with her right away. She did an amazing job on our engagement shoot which really helped us prepare for pictures for the big day since my husband and I aren’t used to getting photographed so it was a great test run. She was patient, kind and so professional. On our wedding day everything went so smoothly. We had our call and went over the day of form she provides and for every shot we wanted. Her timeline was prompt and the pictures came out so beautiful I sobbed, it was like reliving the day over again. I recommend Lore to literally anyone that will listen to me. We are so so thankful for her. Planning to use her for all our future events.
I cannot recommend Lorena enough! From start to finish, she was an absolute dream to work with. Her communication was fantastic—she was always available to answer my questions and ...
made the planning process so much easier.
On the wedding day, despite the unexpected bad weather, she handled everything with professionalism and creativity, ensuring we got all the shots we wanted. She captured every detail I requested beautifully, and her ability to adapt to challenging circumstances was truly impressive.
Beyond her talent, Lorena was incredibly friendly and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Her warm personality and calm demeanor helped make our special day stress-free and fun.
If you’re looking for a photographer who is reliable, talented, and wonderful to work with, look no further than Photo by Lore. I’m so thankful for the beautiful memories she captured for us and would definitely use her in the future!

o came out stunning!! I love that she captures genuine moments, and each photo has a cinematic feel.
At our first shoot we felt a little awkward having never done professional photos before but Lorena talked us through it helping us feel comfortable throughout the entire process.
Lorena had previews ready for us just a day or so after each event. She takes the time to understand how you want your day captured and doesn't miss a beat. Lorena takes a variety of different style photography with flash and cool fuji cameras. She also hires incredible photographers to assist on the big day.
Lorena is the best of the best, look no further if you want beautiful, cinematic, editorial style photos. I will absolutely be hiring Photo by Lore again for all future events!

Our sneak peak photos (which came back SO quick) are simply stunning and perfectly reflect the love and joy we felt. We couldn’t be happier with the memories they’ve preserved for us. I’m looking through the photos, and already feeling nostalgic for our wedding that was only a few days ago.
Thank you SO much, Lorena 🤍

o make it feel natural. She managed to capture all of the best moments. I mean this as a compliment, but after a certain point, I didn't even notice where she was during the reception because she did such a great job at blending into the background and captured such great candids of all of my guests. Her style is exactly what I was looking for: intimate shots that really captured the emotion of the moment. The photos came out better than I ever hoped. I will 100% be utilizing her services for any events I have in the future. I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you again Lore, you're the best!!!
Lorena was the perfect choice to capture our June 2024 wedding! We had a small ceremony in the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, followed by an intimate family lunch at one of our favori...
te restaurants. Lorena was efficient, professional, friendly, comforting and communicated effectively during the whole experience. My husband and I are generally very awkward and a bit of goof balls when taking photos so I really appreciated that Lorena was able to direct us in how to pose/where to stand for the best shots all in a very warm and comforting manner. Our wedding was just 5 days ago and we already received previews and they are so beautiful! Additionally, we appreciated her scouting an additional area to take photos when there was additional time to kill in between the ceremony and the lunch. Those photos also came out super cute and fit with our garden-y/Brooklyn wedding. I appreciate her style of photography as well, very in the moment and natural. She really captured such a memorable moment in our lives so beautifully. Lastly, we found her rate to be very fair and affordable. I would 100% recommend her for any of your photography needs !

n top of things. She is also extremely accommodating as well. Sometimes it can be so hard to find a vendor who cares about your day being special and being on top of things. She did more for us the day of our wedding than some of the staff of our actual venue! The turn around time for photos was quick and on top of it her work is beautiful, and she did a beautiful job at the detail photos.
Super professional, very fun and flexible to stuff that came up. Like having a friend there.

We would recommend her for any of your photography needs and we will definitely be hiring her again in the future.
