PHOTOconcepts Photo and Video

We were lucky enough to meet Guy and family at a bridal expo (they're who I went to see!) We clicked instantly, but I already knew they were the photographers I wanted after seeing their portfolio. Wonderfully natural candids, loads of portraits, they truly care about what they do. Communication: 10/10 from start to finish. They were wonderful with us (we aren't much for picture talking), taking time to get all the shots we wanted and didn't know we needed. Photos came back super fast and were absolutely stunning. I felt beautiful, and they captured every smile, every moment, every thing we missed. Unobtrusive during the ceremony, still got all our moments. They were so much fun during portraits, we got the greatest smiles from even some of our more stoic faces. I will be forever grateful to Cam for spending time with me during getting ready. She was a week after her own wedding and calmed me, clearly cared about making sure the entire process was smooth, and made sure everything was picture perfect. It was like she was my of my girls and I'm not sure I would have gotten through it without her! I can't imagine any team could compare. These are your people, hands down.

Gus, Clarissa and Cameron did a great job during the wedding. They took pictures of all the small and big details and captured all of the special moments.  We had really nice portraits. Seeing the pictures transported us back to the most important day of our life. They were really easy to work with. Every time we saw them they had  big smiles, even though they had been taking pictures for hours. They were so kind and very professional. We thank them very much for being part of our special day.

Gus and his daughter we're very easy going when I had to call him and tell him the judge was running late! We had a courthouse wedding followed by a photoshoot at a venue down the road. The two of them worked very well together and made mine and my husbands professional photo session way less stressful than we anticipated. We had no idea how to pose or anything but we didnt have to worry, they knew exactly what to do. After viewing our photos I have to say they really know what they are doing behind the camera! Definitely recommend for any event/photoshoot!

We got married in May 2021. When we started our vendor search, I was between 2 photographers. I called both photographers on the same day to ask a few questions. After I hung up with Gus and his wife, I instantly knew I had to book with them. They were incredibly helpful and sweet, answering questions I didn’t even know I had! Throughout the whole wedding process, from the consultation to bridal portraits to the day-of and beyond, we have loved working with this family team. They beautifully captured the essence of our wedding day in both the photos and the video. They put so much care into their work, and it really shows! We are so proud to show off our video and photos to our family members, all thanks to Gus and his team. I honestly still get emotional watching the video and looking back through the photos. A little about the team: I chose to do bridal portraits with them, so I got the chance to meet them before the wedding day. I immediately felt at-ease: they asked me questions about me and my fiancé, knew the things to say to make me “real-smile,” and knew all the best poses. On the day-of, they were firm with the timeframe, making sure we got a great number of poses in the tight-ish amount of time we’d planned. What I loved is that they didn’t need to ask me a million questions on that day; they’d already asked beforehand, so on my wedding day, all I had to do was smile at my new husband while they snapped away! I never had to stress about whether we got “that photo,” because they already knew. I’m lumping all this with their videography as well, since we purchased a package that included both. I can’t say enough great things about Gus and his team. I can assure you, if you are a bride in the DFW area, look no further. Seriously. It’s a big deal to trust in someone with your future memories, but these guys deliver.

I highly recommend using PHOTOconcepts on your big day. We had an outdoor ceremony at the Arboretum, and our photographers were AMAZING. Not only did they make us feel comfortable before and after the wedding ceremony, but they were also so creative with our shots and poses. With our nerves and excitement running high, it was awesome that I could rely on our photographers to create such photo worthy concepts. When our photos arrived, we had over 2k shots that were beautiful and unique in so many ways. If you want a professional that will memorialize your wedding with care and creativity, then this is the vendor for you!

I found PHOTOconcepts at a wedding vendor show 4 weeks before our wedding. After meeting Gus and his daughters, I knew I wanted to work with them. They have such fun and positive energy, and it carried all the way through planning and onto our wedding day. We shared many laughs and were so comfortable during our shoots. Our wedding was bicultural and had many elements of an east African wedding woven into the ceremony. Gus was so considerate by asking about my cultural values and traditions ahead of time to make sure he could prepare for our big day. The day of our ceremony was captured so beautifully!!! Every shot is romantic and naturally stunning. We had so many shots to choose from, and all the shots were from different ranges and angles. High quality work!!! Additionally, the team at PHOTOconcepts is so gracious and accommodating. After my wedding, I had many life changes thrown at me. I got so behind that I forgot to upload all the wedding photos that were sent to us!!! After a few moments of panic, I reached out to Gus and he re-uploaded the photos for us to download. So kind and understanding. I recommend anyone looking for a photo vendor to use PHOTOconcepts!

Gus and his team were amazing!! The photos and videos from our wedding were beautiful and so personalized to us. We loved that the business involves all of their family. It really shows through their work how much they love what they do. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking.

I love working with this family. I’ve used their services for videography, engagement, wedding and quinceañera pictures they never disappoint me. They catch every single moment I would want to remember, they make me cry in a beautiful way because I get to cherish these memories and my kids do too for years to come. I love how personable they are, they truly care about making you feel special. I often go and look at mine and my husbands wedding video. It brings me much joy!

Gus and his daughter are amazing to work with! They are so friendly and are great at communicating with you! We haven’t even seen our photos yet, but we just know that they are going to be amazing! They are also very helpful with coming up with poses and picture perfect moments to capture. They also are helpful in many other ways besides photography and are super supportive.

Where to start, there aren’t enough words to express how truly calming and amazing this family trio was to a bride that had absolutely no idea what she was doing. They were so kind and patience. They were extremely helpful even when I felt lost and nervous at times. I will definitely be using them again in the future.

Gus and his amazing team (His daughters!) were the best photographers we could of picked! They are so nice and work with you on everything to get the most amazing photographs. They braved the Texas summer with me for my Bridals and our wedding in August. Never once did they slow down or need a break (I did!). Gus is not like the other photographers we met with when searching for a wedding photographer. He never tried to push a certain package or service, he simply gave us many options to fit any budget. He didn't call or text for days/weeks trying to see if he was going to get our business, he let us have our space to make our own decision. Most vendors (cake, DJ, etc.) we met with would not leave us alone wanting to push us into a quick decision. After our first meeting with Gus and his team, we knew that he was genuine person. He is really in the business to capture someone’s special day and make the memory last a lifetime. The day of our wedding, him and his daughters worked as an amazing team to capture our wedding from start to finish. We could not be happier with his photographs! There are so many amazing photos to choose from! We would highly recommend his services!

Gus and his team are incredible to work with and they produce gorgeous photos!!! From the very beginning, I knew we were in good hands. The week before the wedding I had my final meeting with Gus and all of my bridal stresses just seemed to dissipate after our conversation. Gus is a true professional with lots of experience. You made everyone so comfortable, especially with family members wanting to take pictures with their phones. That made me happy and pleased knowing that they cared so much to go that extra mile to capture every moment. Guz, Cameron, and Carissa’s were on their feet for nearly 9 hours standing, walking, moving from here to there, setting up equipment outside/inside and not once did they demonstrate fatigue, attitude was always positive and never lost a beat. Their passion and LOVE for what they do is there fuel that keeps burning inside their hearts to give their customers what they are promised. Gus and his daughters are wonderful. They interact so well with one another and work hard to give you what YOU want. They see opportunities for the perfect shot everywhere. I can't remember the exact amount I spent (I don't have my "wedding bible" in front of me at the moment), but I do know that this was the only item I really sprung for. So worth it, though! This is the one vendor I would NOT have changed for any reason.

I loved how personable he was and how flexible he was in doing all that I asked. He had great work to showcase and was very affordable.;I would just say to make sure you go over the list of photos you want taken, just to be sure you are both aware of pics that need to be taken. I did not have any regrets of him, just of myself for not documenting what I realized I wanted and missed out on my own fault.
