Jaymo photographed our wedding proposal inside of Gramercy Park, and we are so in love with his work! We were shocked when he had a full gallery of previews the very next morning ready for us. Jaymo was so easy to work with leading up to this special day, and on the day of, he made us feel so comfortable all the while hyping us up throughout the shoot. The photos are something out of a movie - his talent and care is evident with each frame. The shading, the framing, the lighting, everything is perfect and exactly what we were looking for - timeless, modern, and vibrant photos for us to treasure forever. Jaymo doesn’t often do proposals, but we are SO glad he was able to work with us for ours. I could not recommend his work and team with any more enthusiasm. Thank you, Jaymo!!!

Not enough words to express our gratitude for Jaymo and his whole team! He shot our December wedding in NYC and truly captured every single moment perfectly. He made us feel at ease in front of the camera (which is not something I’m good at!) and hyped us up all day. It felt natural and easy, and was seriously SO much fun!! He also worked so well with our entire vendor team, and was flexible and adaptable. We lost light due to the early December sunset and despite that, he was able to capture some of our favorite pictures in the dark with a really cool flash aspect… SO good !!! Our planner helped put us in touch with Jaymo based on his photographic style but we ultimately wanted to work with him because of his personality. Cool, calm and collective but also professional and assertive enough to keep the flow of the day. Fast forward to over 1.5 years later and Jaymo and his team were just that and more. They are the PERFECT balance of clear/direct, while being a fly on the wall later in the evening during the dancing. The photos speak for it all! The portraits are literally breathtaking but somehow getting there was easy and flawless - photos were never a drag/tedious. Our photos are beyond stunning - these are insanely talented artists. The photographer is who you spend the most time with on the day of the wedding, and Jaymo is exactly the person we want around. Jaymo did a stellar job shooting our wedding and engagement photos. From our first conversation ~10 months out, he had already helped us shape our day so that when the wedding day came, everything ran seamlessly. Jaymo & his team are truly a dream wedding photographer. He was the first vendor we booked after securing the venue and it was the best decision we made throughout the whole process. As soon as I saw Jaymo’s photos I knew I wanted him to photograph our wedding. It was the easiest wedding decision we made. We had the best experience with Jaymo and his team! He photographed our rehearsal dinner and wedding day. He scouted the best locations to take photos, found the best lighting and helped capture beautiful moments with our family and friends. The entire day was seamless and our family raved about him. By the next morning we had 75 preview photos! We got our full gallery back within 8 weeks and we can’t stop looking at them! Jaymo is the absolute best, we’d give him 6 stars if we could!

From the moment I found Jaymo on Instagram I knew he was the photographer of my dreams! Luckily he was available for my wedding date this July, and he sure did prove me correct on being the photographer of my dreams. Jaymo is AMAZING, caring, and very great at giving directions. I don't even know where to begin! I am so grateful that the memories of our wedding day will forever be encompassed in Jaymo's work because each photo is truly such a perfect piece of art (not to mention we have over 1,300 of them!!)! Jaymo was such an incredible presence on our wedding day -- all of our friends and family complimented his calm, cool, collected nature all day; he made everyone feel at ease (and the same goes for his amazing team). And he took the time before the wedding to get to know us and learn about who we would be sharing our special day with, what was important to us, etc. We felt so comfortable entrusting him with catching everything we wanted captured. When the photos came back (the previews less than 24 hours after he finished shooting!!!!!) we were all in awe, and the same goes for everyone we have shared them with. Each photo somehow simultaneously feels intimate and personal but also like it should be in a museum, or on the cover of the best bridal magazines. I don't know how he strikes that perfect balance with every image but we are so thrilled to have found him!

Words can’t even begin to describe how thankful my husband and I are for Jaymo along with Gaia and Herman. They completely went above and beyond what our expectations were in so many ways. Jaymo & Team were absolutely incredible. There isn’t one photo that I didn’t absolutely love among the hundreds that Jaymo sent. For this alone, I feel that this was maybe the best investment of the whole wedding. The team was the most professional I’ve ever experienced. They were able to take charge and get all the necessary shots while treating our large group with kindness & making the experience fun. Working in events, I see some photographers who can be impatient/short/borderline degrading-sometimes understandably if a group is hard to wrangle. Even if Jaymo and team were any of these things (they were the furthest thing from this), I still would say that they were 100% worth it- that’s how beautiful the photos are. My friend used Jaymo for her wedding and it was not even a question that we would want him for our wedding. We had an engagement shoot and I was nervous but the second we met Jaymo I immediately felt comfortable and the pictures were amazing. Our wedding day was no different. Jaymo has the ability to make you feel like a model and get the perfect shot. He even showed me pictures throughout which got me so excited. Jaymo even brought a second shooter at the last minute which was amazing. We couldn’t be happier that we went with Jaymo for our wedding photographer! Photos were one of the most important things to us and we looked through so many different photographers photos before coming across Jaymo which was exactly what we were searching for. He captures photos so perfectly and beautifully and he makes everyone feel so comfortable shooting with him. I have so many friends and family who want to use him for their wedding after coming to mine. My husband and I have no idea what to do/how to pose/ what to do with our hands during photos but he is so good at directing you to do all different things and to make the pictures come out so naturally. We couldn’t recommend Jaymo more, he’s amazing as a photographer and a person!!

Stop. If you’re considering Jaymo for your photographer you don’t need to look any further. I did the work for you. I vetted photographers, their social media, their websites. I asked other brides and searched through dozens and dozens of albums. When my husband and I started planning our wedding, photography was mine. I needed someone that had that vision, that could capture more than just a beautiful shot. Once I found the PhotoDH Instagram, I couldn’t stop going back. All of his photos made me feel something... even when I didn’t know the people in them. His website was the same.
