About this vendor
With a photojournalism style, I strive to capture the genuine expressions and heartfelt moments that make up the story of your wedding day. Quietly capturing the real moments as they happen naturally. I feel it is my job to tell the story of the wedding day, not dictate it for you.

Jeannie was an absolute joy to work with and her photos are stunning! She crafted our engagement and wedding photos and we were thoroughly impressed with how wonderful she was to ...
work with and with the exceptional quality of her photographs.
Planning a wedding in a city 500 miles away made interviewing photographers and vendors challenging. We didn’t meet Jeannie in person until our engagement photo shoot, but our initial phone conversation went so well that this wasn’t ever a point of stress – her skill and professionalism were clear, her style and photography interest matched our own, and she was so genuine and easy to talk to that we knew we’d be comfortable in front of her camera.
Throughout the planning process Jeannie was always happy to answer any questions we had, from how would the time of day or DJ lighting impact photos, to how do we discourage cell phone photography during our ceremony.
Both during engagement photos and the wedding, Jeannie consistently went above and beyond the call – from staying late in the rain to capture a stunning nighttime engagement photo (it was a blast!) to sprinting across my parent’s yard to capture unplanned moments, like my brother test-firing a model rocket. We later launched the rocket as part of the reception and Jeannie captured it right as it lifted off from the launch pad, with my husband and I beautifully framed to the side – a photo only possible for a split second!
Throughout the wedding, her presence was never distracting or intrusive. She was always where we needed her to be and never interfered with us experiencing the moments of the day. We had complete trust in her and truly enjoyed her presence! She has a unique instinct for beautifully capturing meaningful interactions, and has the technical expertise to accompany this talent. It was a wonderful experience working with Jeannie and we can’t recommend her highly enough!!
Sincerely,
Laura & Paul

ancé and I in our engagement shoot, making us feel comfortable in front of the camera. Her pictures are awesome! She really captures the natural beauty of the moments she is photographing. Prices are reasonable compared to other area photographers, and you get a lot for what you are spending! Additionally, the turnaround time between taking the pictures and receiving them is great! I like that PhotoGenie provides both an online gallery and a thumb drive of photos for the client. I definitely recommend this photographer!

she got the shots we didn't know we wanted. She was so laid back and I felt so confident in her abilities that it was easy to just sit back and enjoy my day. Jeannie is very thorough and I LOVED her photo journalistic style! She was able to capture those special candid moments many photographers miss. And WOW did she get pictures up fast! I was able to share some of the highlights within a few days through her blog and facebook to the family and friends that could not be at the wedding. We are so thankful she was part of our day and cannot recommend her enough!
Book her. Book her now. :)
