About this vendor
Hello Friends!
I'm Alisha from Brainerd Lakes Minnesota.
I am a little awkward... a lot of quirky and SUPER friendly!
My photography style has been described as Emotive, Playful & Free- Spirited. With 14+ years of Wedding Photography experience.
Above anything else…
… I believe that your day should be about the two of you and the special people you chose to share your day with - not so much about spending precious time getting the perfectly posed photograph. My goal is to document the beauty of imperfection and capture the honest in between moments that will tell the story of your day.
We’ll be a great match if:
You are excited at the thought of having a bubbly photographer who likes to mingle and have great conversations with family and guests.
Your favorite photos aren’t the posed ones, you love the candid moments.
You intend to be present for the day and won’t stress over the little stuff.
Your wedding reflects you as a couple with your own originality and quirks… you don’t care about trends!
Annnd Obviously … You LOVE to have Fun!!
I invite you to take a peek at my website... & even my personal Instagram account & get to know me & my photographs...
I'd love to hear from you! especially if you're a quirky one like me ;)
Thanx a bunch,
Alisha <3

ely. We paid $3,100 for a three-ish hour engagement session and twelve hours of wedding day coverage. I would pay double ((or triple if I didn't have a mortgage due)) to have Alisha shoot our events. Alisha is kind, prompt, thorough, hilarious and a TON OF FUN! I first met Alisha when she shot my friend's wedding and knew immediately that I wanted her to shoot mine someday. When the time came we knew we didn't want the focus to be on posed photos. We also knew that we couldn't possibly be part of or witness all of the magical moments happening among our guests on our special day. Alisha captured those moments and actually captured the FEELINGS of those moments. I can't recommend Alisha highly enough. If there were ten stars I'd want to give her fifty. WOW! WOW! WOW!

nded up having a tiny ceremony with just our parents as guests. Alisha had such an amazing attitude and really brought joy to the day, I cannot recommend her enough. She’s great to have around and the photos we’ve gotten have all been beautiful (and I’m someone who hates having my photo taken!)
Alisha was the best ever! We felt very comfortable and had a lot of fun. Her bubbly personality was loved by all at our small 12 person ceremony. She had so many great photo ideas ...
and was open to ours too.
Alisha was very accommodating with us having to scale back our wedding due to COVID-19 and answered all of our questions quickly. I just received our sneak peaks and her work is stunning!
She’s fun, she’s kind, she’s spunky. Alisha made the (always awkward) photo taking experience so great that I literally thought there had to be a downfall.. then I saw our photos. ...

part of making that happen. Her blend of professionalism, casualness and quirk were a big draw for us when we hired her - and she really pulled through in making our wedding extremely special. We cannot wait to see the rest of her photos (we had a few sneak peeks already!) and we will definitely be recommending her to all of our friends.

g? Fine I’ll expound on why we loved her so much. First of all, we’ve seen a preview of our photos already (wedding was a only a month ago) and they are amazing! I don’t know a ton about photography, but I can just tell these photos are notch or 10 above your average wedding photos. We couldn’t be happier without how they look. In addition to awesome photos Alisha was amazing to work with as a person. She was such a fun addition to the wedding. So many of our guests told us how awesome she was. She was actually not feeling the greatest that day, but you could have fooled me, what a professional! We can’t recommend her enough!

moment and I will treasure these photos for the rest of my life. Truly glad I chose Alisha to take my wedding photos. Will be recommending her to everyone and will be going back to her for family photos in the future. 🤓
Alisha is INCREDIBLE! Our wedding had several large last-minute changes due to the weather changing rapidly for the worst (I suppose that's what we get for planning an outdoor wedd...
ing mid-October in MN), so I had wedding jitters on top of all of the anxiety over my new plan. Everyone did their best to calm my nerves, but I didn't start to relax until Alisha showed up. She's so easy to be around--her fun energy and passion for photography truly loosened me up, and put my fiance at ease! He really hates having his picture taken and actually wasn't sure he even wanted a photographer, but he absolutely loved Alisha. She made the whole experience super easy and fun, and she was also incredibly professional and creative. She ensured to get every detail, every portrait, every candid moment and utilized a ton of different processes and methods, i.e. Polaroid, film, digital, tele-lens, etc. By the end of the day, people were asking how long we had been friends when we had actually just met the day of the wedding! :)
It's a day we'll never forget, and we're certain Alisha captured it beautifully. We can't wait to see the results, and we seriously cannot sing high enough praises about her--HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I found Alisha through The Knot and then realized we have mutual friends (small world!) Her style is what drew us to her, because her photos capture the emotion of the moment and r...
eally tell a story. Alisha’s personality adds to the entire experience as well. She is so bubbly and cute! She made my fiancé feel so comfortable during engagement photos and really captured our relationship well. When we opened the gallery of photos our mouths dropped and we were amazed at her work. BOOK WITH ALISHA!

o FaceTime and made us feel extremely confident in her photos and professionalism. What sets Alisha apart are her candid photos that capture the beauty in small and subtle moments and are so full of life. She delivered an absolute dream of a wedding album. Posed and “big” moments looked fantastic, but she moved like a happy phantom through my wedding and snapped candid photos of moments that mean the world to me. I will cherish her photos forever!
Alisha was always super responsive during our planning and easy to work with! At the wedding she made everything low-stress, even posing for the not-as-fun family portraits. Multip...
le people commented after the wedding how fun and nice she was :) While our full album isn’t quite done yet we’re loving the sneak peaks we’ve seen so far and can’t wait for more!

nd happy with deciding to choose Alisha to capture our wedding memories for us and know 100% we made the right choice. Also, she recently mailed us a handful of Polaroids she took at the wedding and WHAT A FUN SNEAK! We're so excited for the gallery and know it'll be incredible. Thank you Alisha!!
Alisha was so much fun to work with! We didn't want stuffy, stiff wedding pictures, and to actually have some fun taking pics..and Alisha delivered! We never felt awkward in front ...
of the camera, she put us at ease and also gave great suggestions on what to do if we were stumped. She also interacted with guests so much and everyone loved her - I seriously had no less than 6 people tell me how awesome our photographer was. We are so grateful that we booked her!
Alisha is the funnest person we have ever taken photos with! She is personable and her spunk and sweetness is very charming.
We absolutely love every single picture she has taken ...
of us and her candid touch is absolutely perfect! Hands down Know doubt she is the best in MN and I would be willing to bet the world! Her passion for pictures and capturing the unseen is a beautiful talent and it is not going to waste!
I’m so grateful we found Alisha! Her genuine and goofy style of photography is a breathe of fresh air. We didn’t want the dramatic and posed style I see from a lot of wedding photo...
graphers, I wanted someone to capture all our special moments honestly and simply. She did all that and more, not only capturing lovely photos of me and my groom, but of our guests too. Her personal brand is quirky and awkward, which really puts everyone at ease and draws out the laughs. Despite her casual demeanor she is a real pro. I appreciated her prompt communications and expert tips. She’s very much in demand so it took a while to get our photos (almost 4 months). That said, she catches so many candid photos that the editing/curating must be a heavier lift than most photographers. I wouldn’t change a thing, her amazing photos were well worth the wait. I couldn’t recommend Alisha enough.

tos she took prior to the wedding. It was really comfortable and fun to be around Alisha - she was such a positive presence throughout the day, and this meant a lot to my partner and I. Alisha took time to connect with my nieces (VIP's), and our friends and family all commented on how pleasant she was to have around. We were thrilled day-of, and thrilled with the photos - I highly recommend working with Alisha : )
She's so easy to work with, weather your day is small and personal or big and over the top. Looking back on your wedding day photos is about so much more than the posed group photo...
s, it's about capturing all the little in between moments that you didn't think anyone noticed or was paying attention to. But that's the best part about having Alicia as your photographer. She covers all the basics, but then you also get so many little gems that turn out to be your favorite photos from your big day. Photos that are more than just candid, but push so many feelings through a still photo that you can't help but feel them yourself over and over again as you look at them throughout the years.
