We met her in person for the first time on the day of our wedding (we did not do an engagement session beforehand, but we did meet virtually). She has an incredible talent for capturing candid, significant moments and raw emotions, all in the context of beautifully composed images. Angie ended up photographing our micro wedding during COVID, as well as our larger celebration a year later. Truthfully, I cannot imagine a meaningful event without her now. In addition to being wildly talented, Angie is also THE loveliest person I encountered as a bride. She went above and beyond the call of duty and even helped me stay calm during some stressful moments on my wedding day. ngagement photos, so we had a short (maybe an hour) engagement session with Angie. It was a great opportunity to get to know each other, and Angie was great working with us. On the wedding day, I had Angie meet us directly at the venue, and she was very efficient with capturing “getting ready” photos (even though I was pretty much already ready). Angie takes real moment photos and I was thrilled that there no nonsense wasting time around the “getting ready” photos. As a note, I’m sure she would take tons of photos getting ready if a bride specifically wanted that, she is super accommodating, and I just wasn’t interested in that. All of our photos, from the engagement session to the ceremony to the wedding reception, came out amazing, and Angie is all about capturing the moment, we never felt like we had to pose for the camera. She has an incredible skill to document us in our natural state of bliss on the wedding day. On top of her being amazing, she is so familiar with our venue, Saphire Estate, it helped the day move along even more smoothly. She knew the best places to take photos, and venue inside and out. The photo that really blew us out of the water (I was actually speechless when I saw it), was our sunset photos, which I think you can see tagged with her instagram handle @angelinarose_photography. uld immediately tell that we had a great rapport with her! Angie said right away that she could feel how close we were as a couple, and that she loved our energy! Throughout the entire process, she always knew how to make us feel comfortable and to make us relax and just laugh. We were in love with our engagement photos – Angie had so many great ideas for shots that showcased not only the two of us (and our puppy!), but also the city of Providence which was exactly what we wanted! She was always super responsive and communicative, and we never had to question whether we were on schedule or if there was any information we were missing. On our big day, Angie was a HUGE factor to everything running smoothly and things going off without a hitch! We ended up purchasing an extra hour of her time just so we could have all of the most important moments captured, and we absolutely made the right decision. From beginning to end, Angie was organized and confident, which made us feel the same way! With only a few tips from us about friends and family shots that we wanted, she captured so many amazing combinations of everyone closest to us that we couldn’t even believe it. She somehow was able to perfectly balance having us pose for pictures but also allowing us to just enjoy our day and live in the moment. Before we even saw the final shots, we knew that she had captured the perfect night. When we saw our wedding day pictures, we were flooded with emotions and were absolutely blown away. Both the quality and quantity of the shots were beyond impressive, and there were so many moments that she captured that we had no idea about. The creativity in her choices was unbelievable – she took this shot of the both of us under the veil that just looks so cool! The main reason we were originally drawn to Angie was her clear ability to capture genuine emotion in her shots, and we were certainly not disappointed! She caught smiles, tears, and so much love in her photos, and we haven’t stopped looking at the album since we’ve received it. Angie makes you feel comfortable in front of a camera. I am so glad that she offered a mini engagement shoot. It really helped get us used to being in front of the camera before the big day. My husband does not like having his photo taken, but she worked her magic to get him to buy in and enjoy it! We did not do a first look, so my venue recommended that I take photos inside with my bridesmaids before the wedding while my husband and his groomsmen took photos outside. I was a little disappointed to have my photos taken inside, but was willing to go along with it since it seemed to make sense logistically. Luckily, Angie took control and made sure I got my photos done outside without being seen by the groom. I am so grateful that she stepped in and worked things out so I could get the photos I wanted. If you’re looking for a photographer with an artistic eye, who can capture emotions beautifully, and will stand up for you to get you the photos you want, Angie is your girl! And then for the wedding - WOWWWW. Angie was so flexible going between multiple locations to get different groups in different settings, made planning with her an absolute breeze, and then delivered the most insanely gorgeous gallery!! For context, I'm someone who generally can't stand having her picture taken, feel super awkward the whole time and it usually shows in the result - Angie made the whole thing SO much fun, made me feel completely at ease from the start, and got such beautiful shots that perfectly capture our entire day. reat care in choosing the photographer because at the end of the day, all you really have left as a memory are the photos. Not the cake, not the flowers....the pictures. So I did a lot of research and specifically was looking for a photographer that would capture "real" moments. Sure I wanted a few formal posed pictures, but what I really wanted was people's honest reactions and feelings throughout the day, and we ABSOLUTELY got that. She tells the story of your wedding through pictures and it was truly breathtaking to see pictures of my mom's reaction to the first dance, or my dad's reaction to my sister's speech, etc etc. It was amazing. And the posed pictures she got of us? Whaaatttt? They are some of the most unbelievable pictures I have ever seen. My husband was so nervous because he tends to get stiff and weird in pictures and Angie was able to get him to really relax and we have so many real, honest pictures of him and us....it's a miracle. You would be a fool not to hire her because not only will you get beautiful, amazing photos, but you will get the story of your wedding day told through images, and it is more special than you can imagine.

I had never had professional photos taken before and Angie was able to direct my husband and I in a way so we would have excellent photos while allowing us to still be ourselves through out the whole process. Angie was extremely detailed and organized. She created a timeline for our day which put me at ease and made the day flow seamlessly while managing to take all of the photos I wanted. After receiving my photos i was excited to see that Angie captured every single aspect of the day. Not only did she capture photos, she captured emotions (I didn't even know you could do that) I was truly amazed. Moments, feelings, events I didn't even notice were happening are now all captured in a way I can relive over and over again. I would love to say that Angie exceeded my expectations for my wedding but i knew from the first time we spoke that my photos would be remarkable. I hope that this review adequately captures and describes how fantastic she is at what she does, and helps make the process of choosing a photographer easier for you. First of all, Angie herself took all the photos. Ive learned that many other photography companies often have multiple photographers working for them. Therefore, the photographer that shows up on your wedding day could be someone that you've never met, and whos' work you've never seen. This was not the case with Angie at all. Angie was the only person that we dealt with, not only on our wedding day, but in the months, and, frequently, in the days, leading up to the big one. Throughout the entire planning process, she was always available to answer any and all questions we had. She always responded promptly and with unwavering patience. She offered a ton of knowledgable advice, advice that can only be gained through experience. However, she always left the final decisions to my husband I, and respected each one. After our wedding, the amount of compliments I received from our wedding guests, most specifically, our family members and the bridal party, re: Angie, was overwhelming. Her competence and professionalism was clear to everyone involved with our wedding. Both of my parents specifically praised Angie every single time I talked to them for weeks after our wedding. Everyone seemed to agree that she was friendly, polite, patient, unassuming, and thorough. She had an absolutely perfect way balancing the coordination of photos we had requested and creative photos she envisioned, while then remaining seemingly invisible, relentlessly capturing every single moment of the day. Looking through the photos with my family and friends, I cannot even explain the amount of times we said "I didn't even realize she was there when we did that". Yet, we now have an incredible picture of a very special moment. I think that, is an incredible talent. Now that our wedding day is over, I find that I go back and look through the photos that Angie took more often than I ever thought I would. I do this because, through her photos, I am literally able to, for a short period of time, re-live the best day of my life. Somehow, she captured ever moment, and every emotion , that we experienced at our Wedding. I honestly never thought that the amount of emotion experienced on that day could be captured in photographs, but Angie did it. There are multiple photos that make me tear up with happiness every time I look at them, and many that make me laugh out loud. I take great comfort in the fact that, as my husband and I embark on our new lives together, faced with inevitable ups and downs along the way, we will always have Angie's photos to look back on. Through her photos, we will always be able to look through our wedding album, and actually feel the love and overwhelming happiness that we started our journey with, and hold onto it forever.

Before the wedding, Angie helped us figure out the timeline for the wedding day and gave us great advice on how we should structure the day for various photos, including a first look, wedding party photos and family formals. Angie encouraged us to do an engagement session with her before the wedding, and it was a great way for all of us to get to know each other and for us to feel comfortable posing for pictures. During our engagement shoot, we knew right away that Angie was the right choice for us. She told us jokes to loosen us up in front of the camera and helped us look more natural in the photos. We also appreciated that Angie worked with us to develop a package for our wedding day that fit our budget. Throughout the entire process, Angie was very professional, responsive to our questions, and was genuinely excited to work with us. Angie captured so many moments and emotions of our wedding day. The first time we saw all of the pictures online, we were ecstatic. The photos were so vivid and animated, and we were impressed with the quality and creative aspect of them. The photos of our first look are my absolute favorites! We were both filled with so much emotion, seeing each other for the first time as bride and groom and excited for the wedding. And we were so happy that Angie was able to capture all of these emotions and expressions from this special moment for us. As the bride and groom, the day does go by quickly and I remember feeling like I wanted to freeze time to make sure I could remember it all. Luckily, we have these stunning photos that captured all parts of the day, as well as photos our family and friends that were celebrating with us. We also chose a package that included albums for us and our parents (which made great Christmas presents). We couldn’t be more pleased with how the albums turned out, and we’ll cherish them forever. From the materials to the design and organization of the photos – the albums are works of art! We were also happy that we had full rights to our photos. We’ve shared many of the photos with family and friends, and everyone has exclaimed how amazing the photos are and how great our photographer, Angie, was on the wedding day. Having Angie as our photographer was worth every penny – she is so talented, creative, down-to-earth, and a pleasure to work with. to. Angie was initially recommended to me by another photographer in the Boston area. I spoke with 5-6 Boston-area photographers and chose Angie based on her artistic eye, flexibility, and how organized she is. We were very glad that we did! We did both engagement photos and wedding photos with Angie. The engagement photos turned out really well, despite it being a very cold spring day in Boston. There was a great mix of more traditional photos (which our mothers liked) and artistic photos (which we really liked). For the wedding, Angie did a great job of telling the “story” of the day, and capturing moments of emotion and joy. The family portrait portion was not a headache at all, since she was very efficient in moving relatives into place, etc. Additionally, even though we hadn’t asked for a second photographer, Angie brought one with her to capture the getting-ready moments of both the bridesmaids and groomsmen. We appreciated this thoughtfulness and her effort in going “above and beyond” in service. We’ll be recommending Angie to our friends who are looking for a wedding photographer!
