When we met Caroline for the first time, she brought me an adorable welcome package complete with a wedding magazine and a soy candle. I am a sucker for gifts, so I immediately liked her. Caroline has been nothing but professional from that day forward. She responds promptly to emails, ensures she is always EARLY, and even sends calendar appointments to her client's email to keep us all on the same page. We had our engagement session (part of our wedding package) with Caroline on Sunday. By Monday she had ADORABLE preview pictures to us, and by Tuesday all of our images were released to us. This was a PHENOMENAL timeline considering Caroline works a full-time "day" job and had two other sessions Monday and Tuesday. Caroline literally worked morning and night to delivery us our photos, not because she had to, but because she was so excited to get them done. Despite the fast delivery of the photos, they were all beautifully edited and shot very well. My expectations were far exceeded. I feel like not only did Caroline make us look better than we actually look in real life, but she captured really sweet moments between my fiancé and I, that I didn't know were possible to capture. She even made my shy, introverted fiancé laugh and feel comfortable. After this engagement session, I am so glad I chose Caroline Grace Photography to shoot my wedding. I would not want to have anyone else taking our photos.

Have you ever gotten your picture taken and the photographer says 'That looks great!' only to get the shots back and think 'Why did they let me stand like that?' 'Don't they know the meaning of fly-away hair?' 'Why didn't they make sure the logo of the baseball jersey we were trying to highlight showed fully?' Yup, that NEVER happens with Caroline. Plus, she makes you feel at ease and isn't intrusive. My number one recommendation with Caroline is to say 'I love your work... now push the envelope.' A lot of photographers work can look beautiful, tasteful... but similar. Just let go and give Caroline artistic freedom and you will be FLOORED with what you get. line didn't feel like an interview at all. It felt like two friends getting together to discuss dreams and what the perfect shoot would look like. She was patient, and answered my questions in a manner that made sense. The day came for her to jump in and start capturing all my memories in the making. I've been to weddings and shoots where the photographer looked unprofessional and even took a back seat to photos. Not Caroline. She was shooting away the entire day. She explained to me that it was way better to over shoot than wish we had more shots to work with (obvious but so few photographers take this approach). The entire time I could focus on me, my friends and family because I knew she was doing her job. She was taking care of what we hired her for. Not once did I worry or wonder or wish "hey can this be photographed." When I saw the first cut of pictures I was blown away. It made my special day look like it was right out of a movie. Seriously. When everything is said and done, all we'll have is the photographs to look back and relive that day. I'm so so glad we went with Caroline. She made sure that day was one we could cherish. I'd highly recommend her services be it a wedding, engagement session or just a yearly family photo update!
