Photography by Erin Leigh was, without a doubt, one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Erin communicated openly and effectively throughout the process, did a great job with research of the venue and the area for the best picture spots (she found a fantastic spot for our bridal party pictures between the ceremony and reception) and, most importantly, Erin and Heather (we used a second shooter as well) took wonderful pictures of the entire day that we will treasure forever. The process to receive photos after the wedding is extremely convenient and her turnaround time was incredible. We could not be happier with how our photos turned out, and give Photography by Erin Leigh the highest recommendation possible.

Erin was wonderful to work with in every way imaginable. You’d think when you look for a photographer you should choose based on photography talent alone, but with Erin you get so much more. It’s true she’s a very talented photographer who captured the happiest day of our lives perfectly, but little did we know that was just part of our experience with Erin. From the very beginning of our experience Erin just had a calming presence from the first time we spoke to the end of our wedding day. The planning stages alone put us at ease due to the wealth of knowledge and organization she brought to the experience. She explained that as a photographer she wanted to understand the full day we had planned, which brought our attention to many aspects we hadn’t even considered. While she brought up excellent points during our vetting conversations, once we hired her she blew our minds with how well she runs her business. Our minds are flooded with details of how she amazed us, but the two main aspects we want to share are the questionnaire and her Wedding Experience magazine. The online questionnaire was very thorough and made us think through exactly what we wanted, and sharing these details made us in sync throughout the whole day; she could easily double as a wedding planner! Her Wedding Experience magazine was full of suggestions about how to plan and think through your wedding day. The magazine includes sample timelines, how to cope with running late, the pros/cons of a first look, day-of reminders, various decisions that will affect your photographs… it has it all! Not only was the magazine extremely helpful, but it was a pleasure to read and I still have it as one of my keepsakes from our wedding planning. She could honestly sell this magazine on its own, but it’s yours free when you book with her. On our wedding day Erin was a joy to work with, as she had always been. She made sure we were on time without ever feeling rushed, and we had a great time laughing and living in the moment with her. We’re thrilled with our photos and look forward to enjoying them for years to come. Within just a few days she already shared a highlight set, and then the full set was quick to follow. Accessing our photos were very easy: she provided a link to our photos where we could view and download everything. The link is sharable to all our friends/family, however we still had the ability to limit who could download the photos by only providing the download pin to certain groups of people. Erin impressed us at every step of the process, and we look forward to working with her again in the future.

Erin is amazing to work with! She worked with us as our photographer for our engagement shoot and wedding day. Wow, I don’t know where to start. Maybe with the ease it is to communicate with Erin – she captured our relationship perfectly in all of the photos she took. She made sure to pay attention to details. Erin traveled a few hours for our engagement shoot in the middle of winter to drive Skyline Drive and stop at the best overlooks for photos. She did her research and knew the best places to stop. She made us comfortable in front of the camera – it was our first time having pictures taken like this. The engagement shoot really helped us get to know Erin so that when our wedding day came, we would know how we work together. Erin did an AMAZING job photographing our wedding. She really knows her stuff and it is obvious she is in her element when it comes to photographing weddings. We had a blast together. Erin was very responsive, organized, and easy to work with. If you are considering Photography by Erin Leigh for your special day, event, or just because, I would highly recommend choosing her. You won’t regret it! I cannot say enough positive things about having Erin as our wedding photographer. From the first phone consultation throughout the entire process, Erin put my mind at ease knowing we would get beautiful photos, and she didn’t disappoint! Erin did our engagement photos, shooting in a sentimental location new to her. She met with us to go over the shot list and helped to construct the wedding day timeline.
