Photography By Glen

photos. Such a brilliant photographer and wonderful human being. His photos speak for themselves, but honestly, I have never been more comfortable with someone taking my picture or documenting this profound moment. If you want quality pictures to eloquently capture life changing moments, Glen is the guy! We received our pictures less than a week and a half after our wedding, SO amazing! Truly, I cannot recommend him enough! Thank you again for everything, Glen!

f long time friends that also renewed their vows as well. Glen was the photographer and was excellent. Not only was he able to capture our celebration as a group, but he also managed to capture each couple individually making for beautiful photos of private moments during the ceremony. Our son, wife and granddaughter along with other friends were witness to ceremony and he also was able to include them in some of the photos. Truly beautiful photos that will be treasured for a lifetime of memories. Thank you Glen for your amazing talent.

quick and accommodates with whatever you need. I would definitely recommend Glen and I will be using him when we go back to renew our vows! THANK YOU Glen:)!

quick in giving us our photos (in less than 2 days). He is flexible and knows nice places in Hawaii for photo shoot. He suggests great poses and also recreates photos that we show to him as samples. The price is also reasonable. We had a great experience and wonderful photos with the same or higher quality as the ones in his page.

oking through www.photographybyglen.com and seeing his stunning photos, we knew he was gifted. Then, reading one positive testimonial after the next, we knew we had found our guy. With expectations high, we asked Glen to Photograph our wedding. Let me tell you, Glen greatly surpassed our expectations from start to finish. During the wedding, he knew exactly what to do, whom to photograph, and how to go about posing large groups of people. Glen brought a professional, yet easy going and comfortable feel to the entire photo experience. He went the extra mile in so many ways; from adjusting the collar of my shirt, to making sure that the photo sites were free from anything that would take away from the beauty of the scene. He took pictures of literally everything that was important to us, he noticed the small details. Glen had our photos ready for us way faster than I had ever expected. When it comes to your wedding, you need the best. Glen gave us the best. Thanks Glen!! It was a delight working with you :)

wanted, but he far surpassed our expectations in coming up with poses and photo ideas throughout the day. He was very organized and brought a fun, easygoing atmosphere to the day. We were both amazed at how fast he delivered our finished photos. Thanks, Glen!

. price was right and the turnaround for getting the pictures back was super quick. Easy recommendation.

CD of over 300 pictures (for a 1 hour ceremony). Not only all that, but you can tell he loves what he does. He was very enthusiastic and outgoing the entire time. He made the whole event more enjoyable. Very nice guy. highly recommended.

ick up on DVD two days after our wedding! We are very pleased with our photos and the excellent service Glen provided.

ur evening. We have so many fabulous pictures that gather all the joy and emotions of our special day. Absolutely and without any hesitation, we recommend Glen to take your pictures!

t out of his way to have our photos printed and given to us before we left the Island a few days later. Our wedding package was organised by another vendor that turned out not to be the most professional wedding vendor so we were very, very lucky to have received such professional and caring service from Glen. I would not hesitate to recommend Glen's photography to any other future bride or groom.

snap a few pictures to remember the special day. In an hour, Glen managed to capture over 450 photos of us, our family, and friends. It was an incredible value for what he charged us. He then managed to edit our photos and have them in our hands in less time is than a week after our wedding. The quality of the photos was over the top. He had a great personality and I would highly recommend his service any day. Thanks again Glen for capturing this very special day for us.

e who not only knows how to take the pictures but to let the pictures tell of story with the essence of the joy, love , hope and dreams that it represents. You have come to the right page. Photographer Glen was the photographer that I choose for my wedding. I looked on websites and was totally confused. God lead me to him and I have the pictures with the essence of joy, love, hope and dreams. Glen was able to capture the excitement of the crowd, the sacrament of the ceremony, and the expression of our faces as well as guest reaction. He took many pictures but was not intrusive. He climbed trees and kneeled for different angles. I had a traditional Hawaiian Wedding. He pictures showed the story of the Hawaiian legend. He slowed down the shutter to capture the droplets of water that was blessing our rings...amazing. Prior to the ceremony, Glen took the time to take snap shots of our individual uniqueness. He was able to capture the moment when the individualism disappeared and the one became two on camera....wow. He is an experience photographer who waits for that precious moment to arrive. We have pictures of the vitality of life, with loving arms embracing our beauty with the beauty of the background, the beach we choose. When the spirit of God shone in our eyes...well, Glen captured that too. He allowed my guest to be free and creative to express their joy. The memories are remarkable. His heart is behind the camera and it shows. Let me tell you a story. Tom Brady, New England Patriot Quarterback and Wes Welker was his receiver. They were unstoppable and they had a perfect season. When it was time for renewing their contract, Welker wanted more money than the budget allowed. Brady said Welker could have some of his salary. Bill Bilichick, Patriot Coach, said no. He said Welker heart was not in the game. It is focus on the money. Welker now plays for Denver Bronchos with the same salary that the Patriots originally offered. Glen is like Brady. His heart is the game. He would take the pictures just to play. If you need an expense photographer, go some where else. If you want pictures, ask your quest. If you want a photographer who wants to be there and snap the soul of the existence of one of the most important days of your life---then call Glen.

ur destination wedding he was outstanding to work with! We emailed occasionally before we arrived in Hawaii and talked when we arrived to confirm times and date. He was easy to schedule with and does know so many people around the island that can help you with your wedding planning! From the moment we arrived on the beach, he was there, ready for us. We ended the night with a private family meal at the Hilton in which Glen stayed, was part of our family and continued the photographic journey. Our pictures were ready within two days and we were so overjoyed with the quality and beauty! Glen is so very pleasant and humble as a person and his passion for photography shines through in your pictures! He's very thorough, always snapping pictures when you don't realize it and they turn out amazing! Photography by Glen is very reasonably priced. We will be celebrating our 10 years in Hawaii and can't wait to use him again! Thank you, Glen!

photo shoot was precious and will always be cherished. His calm presence and smiley demeanor helped to keep the party at ease. He was also able to put us in touch with the gentleman who presented the vows. All in all, we could not have been more pleased. Thank-you Glen. Dr. G. L. Robson and family.

over some 8 months building up to our wedding. In this time Glen even helped me find a make-up and hair stylist. The day of the wedding was dull and overcast...... but not the photographs. Far from it they were brilliant, vibrant and well exposed indeed. We were married on a Saturday and had a disc of +500 shots by the Tuesday. Glen is very professional and funny with it. I think he is also now a friend as he had such a magnetising personality. Thanks to Glen we have many memories in the form of colourful photographs for life. Andy & Leighsa (England)

pturing the memories of our wedding day that will last a lifetime! Recently, on a family vacation to Hawaii, our friendship with Glen and his wife was rekindled. Now with more than 25 years of experience under his belt, Glen again put us in front of his camera and took family photos and special photos of our high school senior. We would've been content with the very first picture he snapped - it was perfect - however, he sent us home with a disc full of wonderful portraits that truly captured our special family vacation. Glen is full of creative energy and he knows all the great spots on the Big Island to get that perfect shot. It is evident that he LOVES his job! He does "excellent" work! When you work with him, you'll know what we mean! Glen is a great guy....with or without a camera in hand.

his. He is the best photographer I've ever worked with, and I've had professional photos for many occasions in my life. Glen is a true artist and he holds himself to a higher standard. He will make you laugh and smile constantly and he is very helpful with poses and creative ideas that make for remarkable photographs. Not only does he do an amazing job photographing before, during, and after the wedding ceremony, but he is also very skilled with the photo-editing process. I highly recommend Glen's photography. You will love the results!

great guy with a warm and enriching personality, it was as if we had known him for years. Thank you so much for being a big part of our Wedding Day. Christine and Michael Australia

of erasing every bad memory of the first ceremony. I was hesitant to plan and book vendors from so far away again, but I let God take the wheel, so to speak, and set out about planning our special day. Glen came with wonderful reviews from the minister that performed our original ceremony and, as we loved him so much, we started our photography search with Photography By Glen per his suggestion. Other photographers were researched, but none of the other sites seemed to offer what we wanted or were so overpriced that they would never be in the running. Photography by Glen had an ample library to review, reviews were on point, he presented himself as down to earth and laid back and was the ONLY photographer to call us back! We exchanged several emails and phone calls over the next eight months before our ceremony and each time I needed a question answered I always started with Glen; even when the questions were completely out of his photography expertise. He was so willing to help and I used almost every vendor he suggested! He knows his stuff and can be trusted...and we haven't even started to talk about his greatest talent...PHOTOGRAPHY! There is something very special about Glen Dohie. He just has a great sense of knowing who you are. We finally met in person the day of the ceremony on a beach that he photographs on often and it was like we had known each other forever. He walked us through the site and asked if we had any special shot requirements and then gave an outline of how we would proceed. He picked a beautiful spot for our vows and the resulting pictures were amazing! He was invisible before and during the ceremony and he captured some of our sweetest moments and we did not even know he was there! Sunsets on the Big Island are spectacular, but Glen's pictures made even me more beautiful than those amazingly beautiful sites! Glen made us and our day immortal in the wonderful pictures he took for us! We still cannot get enough of looking at them! I cannot believe we get to live these memories forever! Every time we return to the Big Island we will call upon the masterful Glen Dohie to immortalize our love and life at the same spot with his amazing photographs! Thank you so much Glen...we love you and are proud to now also call you a friend! Glen is professional, honest, trustworthy and very hard working and not using his talent would be a mistake! We had our first glimpse of photos within 24 hours and within 48 hours our CD was personally handed to us with all edits done! I am an amateur photographer and I was blown away with the quality of his work! I just cannot say enough about how spectacular he is! If you are looking for the best...you found it Photography by Glen!

emony that provided a gorgeous backdrop to this occasion. I first contacted Glen by email which he promptly replied to that provided all the details of his services. I then spoke with Glen by phone (from the Chicago Area), to etch things in stone. I called him upon arrival to the Kona area to confirm that all was good to go. On the day of the ceremony, Glen was scouting the site location prior to our arrival. He had the instinct to not approach us (keeping the surprise) until my wife was distracted with the scenery, then I told him it was us and that the surprise was still on. Our photo shoot was a total of an hour and included the ceremony itself as well as several photos that told a storyline all the way to sundown. He provided us with a DVD and all the photos that we were free to copy without having to go through him once we left the island. He even included a blank photo album for us to put together with all of our favorites. We just looked at all the photos of which we are very pleased with each and every one. Glen did a superior job on all aspects of his assignment and we highly recommend him to anyone who visits the Kona area. Sincerely, Tim and Judy Grutzius

ive, and knowledgeable about how to get the best photos. He is personable and truly seems to enjoy what he does. If we had to do it all over, there would be no hesitation to have him photograph our wedding again. Words can't express how thankful we are! ...and my wife says she agrees with what I've written, which in itself says volumes more than what I've said!

g day! We got our picture DVD's very quickly and Glen was able to capture the love and life that filled our day! My husband and I were especially blessed to see each emotion and moment reflected genuinely in each photograph. We can easily relive the moment when looking at our wedding pictures. To be able to do so is a tremendous blessing! Prior to our wedding, Glen had also taken our engagement photos and our son's senior pictures. We've been pleased each time and will definitely use him for future family photos!

hotos and made us both feel great about being in the spotlight even though neither of us were used to it. A few days later he dropped off a CD at our hotel with all the pictures (which were already edited so they are all good) so we can share them online and get prints and albums made.

able to capture in your still photographs just blew me away. My wife and I felt as if we were there. I know that Lisa and Billy will cherish these photos for the rest of their lives. Thank you." Glen is great with "framing" your shots so that the sun is in the right place or the other scenery is well positioned. He is very efficient with his equipment and will get plenty of photos so you won't miss anything. Glen is a professional with a kind heart and it shows from the minute he shows up for your photo session until he hands you the disc with your edited memories. He would always be out top choice for a Photographer on the Big Island of Hawaii.

quality of work I received with the photos he took of my family. We got quality pictures without paying a lot of money for it. I recommend his services to anyone who is looking for a talented photographer in the Kona area.
