en it came to my vendor team, I had incredibly high standards as I understand what quality client service looks like. Lauryn exceeded every expectation I had by a mile. In my 18 months of working with her, her communication was always timely (typically <24 hrs) and highly effective. Before I had signed a contract, she helped me build a high-level timeline for the wedding, got to know what was important to me and answered my (many) questions. She reconfirmed details with me throughout the process to ensure we were always on the same page, knew my shot list front to back, and gave me multiple status updates throughout wedding day so I would know that she was capturing everything I had requested. We had many group formal shots which she powered through with no issue during cocktail hour (which is a feat in itself). As a type A bride, she was a dream come true to work with. Her personality was incredible - she kept us so comfortable, happy and laughing throughout the day. My husband and I are not at all photogenic people naturally, but after working with Lauryn at our engagement shoot, I had no concerns that we would look unnatural on our wedding day, which resulted in a no-stress, all fun wedding day. (Our engagement photos came the next day and our wedding gallery was delivered within two weeks, which I believe are her general turnaround times depending on what time of year it is). One final note on something I had not seen highlighted in other reviews. Normally I think that guest and reception dancing photos are nice to have but generally aren't super memorable. This is NOT at all how Lauryn's photos were. Each photo of the guests is something that they could frame in their own homes despite them not being the main focus of the day. Lauryn took the care to photograph as many couples as possible during the Anniversary Dance, so now they have beautiful keepsakes celebrating their own marriages, not only mine. Overall, Lauryn managed to capture the spirit of the day from start to finish, including the little touches I worked so tirelessly on. She truly thinks of everything, gives the wedding day her all, and is worth every single penny of her investment cost and honestly so much more. I will scream a recommendation for her from the rooftops to every couple I know who gets engaged going forward (especially if you are a Swiftie).

She also gauges each couple's comfort level and has such a unique way in getting the most out of you and your partner. My husband is not a fan of being photographed but for Lauryn, he found it easy and kind of enjoyable! I seriously look at my pictures from my May wedding (yes I got married on 5/13 and ALREADY have my photos back) and can't think of a better photographer, she even helped my mom bustle my beast of a dress. Not kidding, she sat her booty on the ground and hooked about 8 loops for us. I love her and you will too!

We just had our engagement session (May 8) and it turned out to be AMAZING! My fiancé and I are not comfortable in front of the camera, but she made us feel so natural and comfortable and we actually had so much fun during the session. My fiancé even said he had fun before I even asked if he had fun! My maid of honor also helped out at the session and commented multiple times about how amazing Lauryn is. I can't wait for the rest of our wedding party and our family to meet her - I know they're going to love her! She is someone you want to be best friends with and clearly is so experienced.
