As we were talking with them it was clear that not only were they going to take our pictures, but help us with tips for the day of and a promise that we would not have to do a thing, except enjoy our special day. We asked Ryan to also shoot our rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding. He came and stayed onsite with us and captured some of the most fun and natural pictures of our Delta BBQ rehearsal dinner. The day of the wedding was nothing short of what he and Jenn promised. We worried about nothing! Ryan and his assistant captured the essence of our 1920’s themed wedding just perfectly. When we met with Ryan and Jenn to view our photographs it was so exciting to see our day from the view of such a talented photographer. From the very start, Ryan and Jenn were so easy to work with. I’m not used to being the subject of so many photos and wasn’t sure what the experience would be like. Some of my favorite photos were captured at night, out of doors, with sparklers—we were married close to July 4th—which must have required split second reactions on Ryan’s part. His photos from our engagement shoot and wedding day are visually stunning. He has such an eye for detail, and captured even the smallest of moments. One of my most treasured photographs from my wedding day is a photo that he took of my grandpa giving me a hug. It was such a brief moment, but I will have it forever. It’s not often that one becomes friends with one’s wedding vendors, but my husband and I have had the special privilege of keeping Jenn and Ryan in our lives as friends.
