I'd definitely recommend Mary and Scott!! Communication from the day of booking through the day that photos were ready was perfect. We had a few calls leading up to the day to talk about our vision for the day and items/events that we wanted to make sure were captured. They got every one of them! Working with Mary and Scott on the day of was great! We went to a few different locations to take photos before the ceremony. They were totally game to get in a Jeep and off-road to a stunning location at the top of the hill. They also got photos of us with family from outside the area that we don't get to see often, which means so so much. And, our photos are stunning!! It's an unbelievable feeling to be able to relive our day through photos!

I spent endless hours researching wedding photographers, because photos are one of the most important parts of the wedding day. I found Photography by Paquette and LOVED her style-very clear, bright, light and airy. I contacted her right away and after one phone conversation I knew she was the one for us!!  She is so easy to talk to and very communicative; responding to emails, calls and texts. Anytime we talked leading up to the wedding, it felt like I was talking to someone I’d known forever.   We were so comfortable and relaxed taking pictures with Mary. She was able to capture the excitement and love we share for each other and with our family and friends. She thought of everything too-she brought a cute clear umbrella (because it was raining off and on) and even a veil for me to use in pictures.  I was blown away when we received the sneak peek pictures within only 2 days of the wedding (these are only a FEW of them), and I could not be happier-some of them I just stop and stare and I’m right back in that moment with a big smile on my face. Mary and Scott shot our wedding last weekend and I have nothing but great things to say about them! They went above and beyond to make sure all aspects of our day were beautifully captured. We had a dual-part wedding in northern Michigan and downstate, with a small family ceremony up north, followed by a full reception downstate. Mary joined us in northern Michigan and did a phenomenal job capturing an intimate ceremony in a remote location. The photos turned out perfect and we have so many memories to look back on!  During the reception downstate, Mary and Scott were also great capturing family photos and candids of all our guests. She had explored the area around our venue in advance of the shoot, and found great places outdoor for us to take bride and groom photos. Given the blur that your wedding night is, it was a blast to go through Mary's photos in the weeks after the ceremony! Mary is the best!! My husband and I got married in August of 2021. We had a small ceremony and reception in Northern Michigan. We had a budget to keep and Mary nailed it!! She even stayed an hour longer because she knew I was in high hopes of a sunset for sunset photos! Mary and I had set a plan for the event and even at times when I would deter from the plan, she was right there to capture the special moments. We had a big group of friends coming from different states for my engagement and we went North for a fun weekend. Our daughters wedding pictures are the best. I love them so much and they bring back such amazing feelings of a perfect day.
