Sarah was recommended by a friend and we would highly recommend her work. She did both our engagement and wedding photos. I was worried because I am very critical of myself in ph...
otos but Sarah helped put my mind at ease by just telling us to have fun and be natural. It was those natural moments that Sarah really captured the story of our relationship...Our wedding photos are beautiful and again capture those natural moments. Sarah is patient (very patient to work with me) and a professional. I highly recommend her.
Our wedding day (9/24/11) was the most incredible day of our lives and Sarah was there to capture it all. Every time I look at our photos, it all comes rushing back. That is what m...
akes Sarah a great wedding photographer. The beauty of the final product is what makes her a great artist. Can't say enough good things. Thanks Sarah!
Sarah is a true artisan, and an absolute joy to work with. We had a unique wedding at a theater we used to perform at, and then a reception at the zoo. She was fun and improvisatio...
nal with us at both locations - our wedding photos are one-of-a-kind for sure. During the ceremony, she did such a good job capturing all our moments, in fact, she was also so good and disguising her presence while capturing it all. We called her the photo fairy since she seemed to be in more than one place at once :-) My husband and I are both artists, and it was important to us to have creative photography that also captured authentic moments. She exceeded our expectations by miles.
We hired Sarah for our August 2011 wedding and she did such a wonderful job. She was there from the moment we started getting ready and even stayed late to get some last minute ph...
otos! Sarah and her assistant were able to photograph every aspect of our wedding and most of the time we weren't able to see them! We have so many wonderful pictures of the ceremony and never felt that Sarah or her assistant were in the way. My husband and I are thrilled with the work that she's done and our families adore our photos. We would definitely recommend Sarah for any occasion that you need photographed!! Thank you so much Sarah!!!
When we booked Sarah for our wedding, we also scheduled engagement photos... When I got the proofs from our engagement photos, I did question if I thought she was really the right ...
photographer for our wedding. We did 3 different outfits and I feel like each of the outfits did the exact same poses. She chose the location for those pictures and there was a lot of brush that seemed to be in the way/growing out of our heads in some of the pictures. While I was unsure, I felt that maybe it was just a bad day and kept her for the wedding...
Sarah took AMAZING photos at our wedding! A few weeks before the wedding, Sarah had us create a list of all the important shots that we needed to have... and then went WAY beyond when taking our wedding day shots. Sarah and her assistant really told a story with the whole day. The only thing that kinda bummed me out when reviewing the proofs from the wedding was I didnt get any pictures with my bridesmaids.... my husband got plenty with his groomsmen though.
Sarah gives you all the pictures on CDs, which was great since its very expensive to buy them on pictage where she posts them all for your friends/family to view.
We just had Sarah photograph our wedding and she is amazing! She was with us for hours and captured everything on our special day. We were truely amazed with the pictures. She w...
orked with us on a list of pictures that were must have's of the day and those were great. But I think it's the pictures she captured when we didn't even know she was taking them that are the most special. We have so many candid shots that truely capture the emotions of that day and for that I can't thank her enough. My husband and I did not have a videographer and we really didn't need one with Sarah there! She was so creative and we have truely the greatest wedding pictures ever. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer.
Sarah brings the best - she's one of those special people who makes you feel comfortable enough to bring out sincere moments and talented enough to capture them in artistic and bea...
utiful ways. She has extensive training in photography and it shows in her work.
I've actually used Photography by Sarah Barrick twice - once for my bridal portraits and again for more artistic and stylized pictures of me and my husband. I LOVE the results and have many of the pictures enlarged and framed in our house. And I always get compliments on the pics time and time again!! I have also recommended her to friends and family - and they have used her services for their weddings, family portraits, and baptisms. She is great to work with and is dependable.
If you are looking for a talented, professional photographer who is personable and reliable, look no further. You want to book with Sarah!!
When my husband and I were reviewing photographers for our wedding, there were a number of things that were important to us. The list grew after each failed meeting...then we met S...
arah. Sarah was a breath of fresh air! She offered everything we were looking for in a package, with a great demeanor and a great eye. My sister, who is a photographer, looked at the portfolio’s we were considering and without questions she picked out Sarah’s. Sarah has a creative, unique way of capturing things and she isn’t afraid to reveal the most personal moments that you want to have forever. She is so discreet; it seems normal that she is there but she does an amazing job of blending in with everything that is happening around you. When we asked her if she was afraid of water or boats, there was no hesitation, and that proved true when she was swinging from one deck to the other of the yacht we had take us and our wedding party from the ceremony to the reception, the most special part of the evening for us.
We had thousands of photos to look through, and every time we peruse them, all of the memories rush back. I don’t think there is anything that Sarah or her team missed. We were thrilled with the results and can’t wait to use her again for future life events. I highly recommend Sarah for your special event!
