My review is be based on a timeline of events. We hired Stephenie and husband to photograph our wedding. We were informed that pictures would be available within 4-6 weeks after the wedding. We shared our preference and in photographs and the style we felt comfortable with which she promised she would deliver. We were very happy with our choice. I also requested that a USB with the original un-edited photographs be given to me as well to which she agreed. From here things went downhill. About 2 weeks before the wedding we met with her to go over the final preparations and with no warning found out that she had been ill for a couple of months and was to have surgery and in turn she would not be able to photograph our wedding. However in the same meeting she brought another photographer who was to take over and then she would provide the editing services after the fact. Considering we were a couple of weeks before the wedding we were left with little to no choice but to agree. The new photographer was great and and easy to work with, the pictures taken were adequate, some good shots but nothing extraordinary, regardless we were satisfied. The wedding was on 6/25/16.Exactly two months after the wedding (8/25/16) after not hearing a single word from Stephenie I noticed on social media that she was already back to work and doing new photographs as well hence she posted them to her site. I decided to reach out and inquire about the pictures or better lack of and see how the progress was, keep in mind this was already 2 weeks after the date she promised. To my surprise I did not receive an answer after waiting 3 days, I followed up again sending another message asking if the previous inquiry had been received. She finally replied stating that she was recovered and that she would START working on the pictures the following week and should have them done in that same week. I thanked her and that was it there. After the week was up I sent her a message and received no reply, this was on 9/6/13. On 9/13/16 I sent another message again asking about the progress of the pictures, I received a very vague response status she was still working on them and she had ben busy doing other jobs so she could not get to mine. I asked for a specific date of completion to which she stated again that it would take no more than two weeks. I politely stated that I would take her word for it. On 10/9/2016 I asked her about the photos, this was not 2 but 4 weeks later after the date she promised. She stated that she would have the pictures upload to the gallery tomorrow. The following day we found out that a very small portion of the pictures were uploaded as if she just completed them after speaking to me the prior day. I asked about the other pics. She stated that the rest would be there by the next day. She promised us prints and a canvas as to make up for all our troubles at that moment. Over the following 2 weeks all the pictures were uploaded, it did not occur on the day she promised. I asked about the USB snd she said she would send it that week. On 02/01/2017 I sent a message inquiring about the prints and USB, no reply. On 02/10/2017 I inquired about it again and finally received a response with excuses again. Finally 3 weeks later I received the items, however the canvas was edited wrong and useless with white lines. The edits were mediocre and nothing really stood out. My two words of advice, STAY AWAY! Stephenie was great to work with. She offered an engagement shoot so we could get to know her and be more comfortable on the day. With all the chaos of getting ready she truly was a fly on the wall and captured some great shots. It was great to work with such a down to earth, flexible and funny person!
