We were so fortunate to have found Steve O'Donnell as our photographer. With an outdoor wedding extending into the night and an emphasis on colorful lighting at our venue, we wanted a photographer who had proven experience with night shots and bringing out vibrant colors in their photography. Steve not only fit the bill, but went so far beyond what we believed was even possible. He was by far the best vendor we picked and we have no regrets. His professional work is coupled with his witty personality, adding to the whole experience. i would highly recommend him and his partner Wesley for any events.

We really wanted to support a local photographer and a quick Google search led us to the perfect person, Steve! I submitted a request to contact him and he responded within 1 day! He’s a great listener, very personable, professional, thoughtful, open-minded, and HIGHLY adaptable. He took the time to get to know us on the telephone and during a few short meetings around town. He responded promptly via phone, text, email and Facebook throughout our experience. I could really feel his bright personality through any modality of communication. Although he seemed skeptical at first, he accepted our challenge to incorporate our motorcycle (Harley Davidson) and even brought in a second photographer to assist. We were 100% confident in his ability to show us off with style and the love for our motorcycle on our special day! He provided us with a sneak peek of our photos on Facebook on the SAME DAY of the event which left us craving for more! Surprisingly, all of our friends and family complimented the motorcycle photos before any of the others…they are unique and the number one response was that the photos are “breathtaking.” Our pastor was impressed that Steve consulted with him about any possible restrictions while on the church premises. Our family stated that he and his assistant made them feel very comfortable and complimented on how nice they were. To top it all off, our finished product was available before the expected date! Steve will hold a very special place in our hearts and we’ll think of him always.

For our wedding, one of the most important things was the photography. I love pictures! I met Steve at a bridal show at Mission Inn. Upon walking up to his table I saw his slideshow of images that he had shot at a wedding at Mission Inn, on the day that I had actually toured the venue and had seen the wedding going on. One look at those photos and the great job he had done I was sold. I just loved the look and technique of his photos! And after talking to Steve I had no doubts that he was committed to getting great photos for a wedding. He was so accommodating when we were planning our engagement pictures. He had sent me suggestions in the area of great places to do an engagement shoot, but I had visited Cypress Grove park for a venue tour and had thought it would be a great park to take our engagement pictures at. The first time we planned the shoot we had to cancel because of the rain. The second time we decided to risk it, but the rain came as we got there. Steve did try to stick it out just in case the rain was moving out and he did get some really cute shots of us in the rain, but ultimately the rain didn’t stop so we rescheduled. The third time was perfect, though a little hot. Steve was great in moving us around to get the perfect shots. He was even great in working with my fiancé who doesn’t smile! Steve was such a trooper and I couldn’t believe how great he was and determined to get great shots. When we got the engagement pictures, I loved them! I just couldn’t wait to see what he would do with our wedding. I was excited! On the day of the wedding Steve had Wesley with him to be his second shooter. They are a great team and work so well together. Upon arrival Steve went full speed ahead in getting some amazing shots of the rings, accessories, dress and everyone getting their makeup done. During the ceremony I could barely tell they were there and they were able to get some great candid pictures. For our family pictures and portraits, he followed our list to get the groupings I wanted and was extremely patient with our slow moving guests. Throughout the whole day and night Steve continually checked with me to make sure I was getting the shots that I wanted. During the reception he had setup a great shot outside at night that just ended up being so gorgeous! I just loved having the versatility of the day and night photos. He had our pictures uploaded to view within three weeks. He even posted a couple teaser photos on his Facebook page right after the wedding. The pictures are amazing, I just can’t stop looking at them! Overall, Steve was so fun and great to work with. He does an amazing job. Anyone would be lucky to have him do their wedding photography.

I want to start by saying that Steve’s unique perspective and his keen ability to capture significant moments is unparalleled. Being a professional photographer myself, I assumed the decision of who to hire for our wedding would be a difficult one. That was not the case at all. One look at Steve's portfolio, and a subsequent meeting with him, and I knew he had to be the one. As a bride and groom, things happen so fast the day of your wedding that it is hard to take it all in. This is why I believe picking a photographer is one of the most important wedding decisions you will make. My wife and I are still laughing at moments that would have been impossible for us to experience without Steve. His masterful approach to his craft and his amazing personality allowed us to get amazing photos on what could have been a very stressful day. If you want images that will last a lifetime, pick Steve. You will not regret it!!

Steve was an incredible pick as a photographer for our wedding day. From our initial meeting with him, we knew he was someone who takes his work seriously but is fun to be around at the same time. He has an eye for details and goes the extra mile to get the perfect shot. He made a point to stay in contact with us throughout the entire process and quickly responded to any questions or ideas we had along the way. We chose Steve because he noted from the start that his role as a photographer is to capture every important moment without being intrusive or the center of attention. He gladly asked us for any specific shots we wanted and efficiently made sure all requests were met. Steve made us feel comfortable throughout the whole day of the wedding and kept us and our guests laughing. Even though we are not the most photogenic couple, Steve was able to give us just enough direction to get beautiful shots without making us look unnatural or forced. Our online pictures came within two weeks of our wedding day, and they were something we couldn’t wait to share with our family and friends. The day went by so fast, but Steve’s photos gave us a chance to relive each moment one at a time. He also did a great job of capturing the details such as the dress, shoes, bouquet, and rings in a unique way. Steve was so fun to work with and make the entire process less stressful. We are so glad we found him!

Steve was awesome! We would highly recommend him to any of our friends and family for future wedding or party events. He is so relaxed and knowledgeable and knows how to get every great shot. Steve was put in a difficult position during the wedding with long bushes along the sides of the aisle and still managed to get amazing shots of both of us. We are not sure how he did it by himself! we will definitely be contacting Steve for any future pictures! He made us look like we belong on a postcard!

Steve O'Donnell was incredible to work with! I was a very laid back bride and needed some guidance! Steve helped me to organize what I really needed to be doing to capture the perfect memories of our special day. We had an intimate wedding of mostly immediate family members and Steve was friendly and engaging with all of them. There was no rehearsal the day before and he was laid back and stress free (or at least pretended to be) as if he knew exactly how the wedding and reception was going to go! We have the best pictures and Im not sure anybody else would have done as good of a job. We would highly recommend Steve!

Our wedding planner recommended Steve to us because of his laid-back vibe and awesome photography skills. She thought he'd be perfect for us, and she was right! We've only had our engagement shoot with him so far, but we had a great time. He was able to pick up on our personalities really quickly and run with it. He got some amazing shots, while paying attention to all the little details. Steve is really passionate about wedding photography (especially ring shots) We're really looking forward to our wedding photos!

Looking at his wedding portfolio made him an easy pick :) Steve's pictures are absolutely beautiful and he continued that caliber at our wedding this past October. He truly is SO passionate, professional, and TALENTED. He captured so many beautiful moments like my Dad's "first look" which brought me to tears.. the pure happiness my bridesmaids felt for me that day.. the true comfort I feel in my husband's embrace.. and many many others. Steve works so hard to get your day just perfect- he likes to meet with his couples beforehand to walk thru the venue and discuss your vision- he is so creative and you won't have to worry on your day; other than giving him a "shot list" regarding family formals- he will direct you effortlessly and get all the perfect shots you could have imagined. My only regret is that I didn't take his advice on shots with the girls before the ceremony. I wanted to just arrive leisurely with hair & makeup done, and I totally missed out on time with my girls & some photo memories of that. He did manage to get several shots- but he was right in encouraging me to get there to get ready with the girls. Steve is totally flexible but I would advise couples to get to the venue early for fun shots with your bridesmaids & groomsmen. Nick & I could not be any happier with our pictures!

My husband and I were referred to Steve for our recent wedding (October 4th 2014), and we couldn't be happier! From the first sit down with him he was efficient, open minded and willing to work hard with us for our photo needs. We used him for an early morning engagement shoot and then for our full day wedding extravaganza, and Steve did the whole thing with a smile. It is clear he is a true passionate professional when it comes to his work. He keeps the photography process positive and knows exactly how to direct people down to the finest detail. Steve is soooo quick with response to emails and phone calls, and gets pictures back in no time! We received our wedding proofs 10 days after the wedding and the photos another few days after that. We have already printed and framed them for our walls before our one month anniversary! We are so thrilled with the level of service and quality of product received from Steve- he really was wonderful to work with. We will ABSOLUTELY be using him again down the road!

My husband and I hired Steve for a full day during the hottest time of year; but the day went by as if he had done it a hundred times before. Steve was energized, friendly, prepared, punctual, focused, and very professional when interacting with the bridal party, family, and other vendors. But what stood out to us the most, was his flexibility. One thing I learned about planning a wedding is that you could plan out every minute exactly how it should happen in a way that makes sense to everyone. But there are so many variables involved that it can't go exactly like the schedule says. Someone will be late to where they're supposed to be and your mom will want 10 more family group photos than you listed. Steve just went with the flow and owned it. If you ask me, Steve is the whole package. He's a talented photographer, awesome to work with, good eye for detail and poses, and takes every challenge like a boss! My husband and I couldn't be happier with Steve's service. We love our photos and plan to hire him for future family portraits. :)

I couldn't be happier with how the photos turned out for our wedding. Steve showed up on time and was very enthusiastic about being there. This is much more then a job for him you can tell he is very passionate about his work. Steve does such a great job utilizing his surroundings to get such great shots. When we first saw the photos there were so many where we said, “Oh wow look how he did this or that.” One of the most stressful parts of the whole wedding is getting all of the photos with the wedding party and family. Steve has that down to a science which actually made it fun and efficient. Steve also does a great job of being invisible you don't even notice he is there. I would definitely recommend Steve for whatever your photography needs may be.

Photography by Steve O'Donnell did an awesome job on our wedding photos. Very easy to work with and made time to meet with me two different times. Steve is also very professional but fun at the same time. Steve was great with making sure I wasn't worrying or being stressed out. He has great customer service!! He got my pictures back to me ASAP and they all turned out great especially for having 200 people and a ceremony that was only 4 mins long plus rain on and off!!! I would definitely recommend his services to any future bride and groom!

Steve O'Donnell was recommended to us by a friend. After our initial meeting, it was very clear that photography was not just a job or a hobby to him. Photography is his passion. He is a perfectionist when it comes to the quality of his work, and he pays attention to the details that other photographers might overlook. When our first engagement photo shoot was a little difficult due to the weather, Steve volunteered to give us a 2nd engagement photo shoot at another location! Since Steve hadn't shot a wedding at our venue before, he setup a few hours to meet us at the venue and plan out some shots in advance. This was a great idea and definitely made us feel like he would go above and beyond to make sure our big day went smooth. Finally, during the wedding, Steve and his assistant worked tirelessly to make sure every moment was captured. We had a large wedding party (6 bridesmaids and 6 groomsmen), and this was no problem for them. We also gave him the challenge of trying to get pictures with the sunset in the background, and he did an excellent job of capturing that too. A few days after the wedding, a friend told us that Steve even helped him jump-start his car because they left their headlights on during the wedding! Steve really went above and beyond in every aspect. There are lots of difficult decisions to make for your wedding, but choosing him as your photographer is the easiest one you can make. You will not be disappointed!

Steve was the first vendor we talked to when beginning our wedding planning. We sat at a Starbucks for hours getting to know each other. This commitment continued through our planning and our wedding. The photos Steve gave us were beautiful and captured our day perfectly! I would highly recommend Steve to anyone looking for commitment, quality, and personal touch.

We were Steve's first ever client, as far as weddings go. He was going through a very tough time the week/day of our wedding, with his wife undergoing major surgery. Yet Steve managed to remain calm and professional all day, staying for the whole event to make sure we got the pictures we imagined. Even asking us if he could call to check up on his wife's surgery/recovery. A very hard working, professional, perfectionist with a great understanding of how to work with stressed and stretched ,soon to be newly-weds. We couldn't have asked for more.

My husband and I used Steve and Wesley for our December 2013 wedding. We first met Steve through a friend's wedding, then when it was our turn, he was my first choice. Steve is great for a "hand holding" bride, very customer service oriented. I would recommend Steve (and Wesley) to anyone with photography needs. I am looking forward to my maternity shoot soon.
