dding, and I highly recommend doing this with her! She was so accomodating traveling all around San Fran with us for the day, not to mention the gorgeous photos we got. During this session she helped us both become at ease with the camera and with her, which paid dividends when it came to comfort on our wedding day. Our wedding day was also wonderful. She helped us stay on track with timing while getting all of our "must have" photos taken... and I had a lot of them. Additionally, looking back at our wedding photos you can definately tell that we were comfortable and happy... our photos never looked staged or photoshopped, which was something so important to me. I wanted to capture the true essence of us and our day, and she did that! In addition to producing amazing photos and making us comfortable, Alex was extremely timely and accomodating ! All of our correspondence was quick, and she was able to turn around our photos so quickly! I had to deploy a couple months after our wedding, and Alex worked super hard to get us our wedding album before my deployment. It was so amazing to see our album before heading out. As for evert bride's nightmare, money... I honestly can say that Alex's pricing is beyond reasonable for what you get! Alex is an amazing photographer, and she is definately worth looking into for your special day! :-)

shoot with her we felt very comfortable and were so happy with the photos. At the wedding, she completely blew us away with her professionalism, work ethic, and leadership skills. San Francisco so I mostly worked with Alex via phone and email as far as what kind of pictures I had in mind for our wedding. I also shared with her my Pinterest board and she sure delivered! We had a beach ceremony and Alex was not afraid to get down and dirty in the sand to get the shot. She was walking barefoot alongside me while we were taking shots in the sand. She always made sure we were comfortable and none of the pictures seemed force. She also hired an assistant to help her with our wedding day and he was very helpful as well! Overall I would recommend Alex to anyone looking for a great photographer for their wedding. Thank you so much Alex for all of your hard work and for commuting up to Tahoe for us!

her assistant show up on the wedding day to shoot the ceremony and the partying afterwards. Alex made us feel extremely comfortable and took amazing photos. I've never liked posed photos, I find them exhausting but Alex was able to make them quick, painless, and somehow fun. Then she took some fantastic candid pictures. The candid ones are my favorite and I can't believe some of the shots she got. She even got some great pictures of the dogs, looking at the camera (we had 5 dogs at the wedding) which is not an easy thing to do. For any event that I need a photographer for, I'm going to ask Alex first. Thank you Alex!

She has been very patient with us in regard to our photo albums, which we still haven't worked on because we've been so busy! Everyone has raved about our photos and how well she worked our wedding without being in the way or too noticeable. We have some truly amazing shots to commemorate our special day.

When my dress was, in my eyes, ruined by wine left on our limo seat from a different group, Alex was quick to think, and was able to make my dress look as good as new. I was ready to just take my dress off and call the night, but Alex saved me from having to do that. Alex was so quick to respond to emails and text messages, so whenever I had a question, it never went unanswered. Alex took the time to go out to my venue not only once, but twice, and believe me, it was not easy to get to. As soon as she stepped foot on the grounds, she had amazing ideas! As I mentioned in the beginning of my review, I am so happy and forever grateful for Alex! I can't wait to use her amazing talents in the future!

were some photos I insisted on and some she insisted on; both turned out phenomenal. I had a fairly large bridal party with over 20 children in the mix that I wanted photos of...she caught every single child and adult in more than a few perfect photos. Not only was she a complete professional I had more than one person say how lovely she was to work with. She did not charge by the hour but the event. Alex was a trooper and worked from 7am-1am....and with a big smile on her face. Thank you so much Alex!

sure she got the shots WE wanted. She made it clear that the photo shoot was for us and about us, that's not very common anymore. Alex asked us, before the day of the shoot, what we wanted and where, and had no problem traveling over an hour to the spot we wanted. We got day and night shots, which meant hours of time. Alex and her crew were very patient and willing to drive around to three different spots in the cold weather. The photos turned out even better than I imagined. Alex made some of photos in black and white so I could have choices and was willing to make any editing I asked for, I didn't need any extra editing, they were perfectly done. I would recommend Photography by Alex to anyone who needs a photographer and can't wait to have her photograph my wedding!

s, the ceremony, the reception and my romantics. She was very organized and we were able to take all the photos I wanted . She had many good ideas and let me pick some pics I had seen on pintrest . My photos were just what I wanted the lighting was beautiful and all the pictures looked fantastic :) couldn't be any happier I would definitely recommend her to anyone !
