Hi!! My name is Katelyn, but everyone calls me Kmac. I'm a Central Virginia based wedding and elopement photographer with a heart to travel the country capturing your love. One day you might see running alongside of the Blue Ridge Parkway, and the next I might be climbing a 320 foot dune on an Oregon beach chasing the sunset. I love sweet coffee, and I sing or hum to every song I hear whether or not I realize it. I laugh loudly and often, most of the time to a joke that was over 15 minutes ago?? I never want to miss a single moment of this beautiful life, and capturing them through photographs is the best way I know how to do that.
My heartbeat behind photography is people, and loving them well with my camera in hand. I firmly believe that photography is essentially pointless if we lose sight of the person we are taking photos of!
Your story is so important to me, and telling your unique story with beautiful photos is what I aim to do! In every session, my goal is not to simply take a pretty photos, but it is to help you remember why you fell in love and capture memories, not just poses.
