About this vendor
Hi!! My name is Katelyn, but everyone calls me Kmac. I'm a Central Virginia based wedding and elopement photographer with a heart to travel the country capturing your love. One day you might see running alongside of the Blue Ridge Parkway, and the next I might be climbing a 320 foot dune on an Oregon beach chasing the sunset. I love sweet coffee, and I sing or hum to every song I hear whether or not I realize it. I laugh loudly and often, most of the time to a joke that was over 15 minutes ago?? I never want to miss a single moment of this beautiful life, and capturing them through photographs is the best way I know how to do that.
My heartbeat behind photography is people, and loving them well with my camera in hand. I firmly believe that photography is essentially pointless if we lose sight of the person we are taking photos of!
Your story is so important to me, and telling your unique story with beautiful photos is what I aim to do! In every session, my goal is not to simply take a pretty photos, but it is to help you remember why you fell in love and capture memories, not just poses.
There is no better way to remember these moments. Let's create something timeless together.

Kmac did a truly terrific job photographing our wedding! She was flexible, she helped us plan and envision the day, and she made us very comfortable in front of the camera. Her pic...
tures are so, so excellent. Not only are they beautiful, but they capture our loved ones and our wedding day so well. We have had so much fun looking at them, and are so happy they will help us relive the day for many years to come!
Kmac is INCREDIBLE. She captured every precious moment of our wedding: every tear, every prayer, every laugh... She knew exactly what photos to take, how to tell us to "pose," and ...
she made me feel like the most beautiful bride in the world throughout the entire day! I am absolutely in love with our wedding photos. The quality of her work is unmatched, and I will treasure our photos forever. Kmac is amazing!! Book her!!!
Kmac is one seriously talented photographer. We did our engagement photos with her a few months before our wedding and she got them back to us so quickly! She is so personable and ...
fun to work with and the quality of her work is STUNNING.
She stayed in touch with us leading up to the wedding and made sure to note specific photos we wanted taken or family dynamics to be aware of (a rare quality in photographers!). We knew that she would get the content we wanted and make everyone comfortable in front of the lens...even those who don't prefer it :)
This girl made us look GOOD. And not via excessive editing. She paid respect to the gorgeous mountain backdrop and to our desire to capture the beauty of the day. I can honestly say every photo is magazine worthy. And who doesn't love a photographer who gives previews in the weeks after your wedding? Despite her busy schedule, Kmac delivered high-quality images to us that surely make the memories of our wedding come flooding back.
Do yourself a favor and book a photographer whose photos will stand the test of time. You won't regret it. She truly lives up to her words "loving people with a camera in her hand."
