I looked at all the photographers in KC and the second we found Neyan we were pretty sure from her portfolio and reviews that we wanted to work with her. Neyan is a great choice for a wedding photographer! She is so easy to work with and even helps give tips throughout the planning process to help you make sure you have the timeline perfect. She gives great cues so even those who are spatially unaware and awkward in front of a camera look great. We absolutely LOVED Neyan! She was well organized and extremely helpful in the wedding planning process. I really appreciate her guidance and support for our big day. We are in love with every single picture she took! Neyan was INCREDIBLE to work with! She was so organized and made sure we were on time!!! She created the perfect day of timeline for us as well! We did not want to do a first look and she was fabulous and did not pressure us into it. My (now) husband first contacted Neyan to photograph our engagement, unbeknownst to me. At Christmas, one of my presents was a book of our engagement. I found this odd because we didn't take many photos. As I reach the 2nd page, I realize what he had done. He hired a photographer to capture the day! Oh, and am I happy that it was Neyan! Neyan's use of the lense is so refreshing. She has a magic touch to make everything so vivid, so bright, and - yes - magical! When it came time to select our wedding photographer, it was a no-brainer, we wanted to use Neyan again! Neyan was a dream to work with! She is very responsive, organized, kind, personable, and has a great eye... everything you want in a photographer! My husband and I loved Neyan from the first time we met her, but when the rest of our wedding party met her the day of the wedding, they loved her too! She was able to keep my large wedding party focused for the photos, but still let us all have fun! She made a point to ask multiple times if she missed any poses that we were wanting - even though she got them all every time, it was awesome that she double checked. Neyan did such an amazing job photographing our wedding. Working against us: the groom hates having his picture taken, and we both live out of town so didn’t have much time to spend with her before the wedding. She still managed to capture us and our wedding perfectly, and the groom remarked afterwards that the pictures were actually pretty fun to take. Of course we wanted beautiful photos, but we also wanted a genuine reflection of the day, and she caught so many heartfelt and authentic moments between us and our guests, moments that would be impossible to recreate. We will always treasure the collection of images she captured, and are so thankful we chose her to be our photographer.

I have only great things to say about Neyan! She and our second photographer for the day, Morgan, did a tremendous job capturing our day. Beyond taking an absurdly awesome quantity of pictures on the day, Neyan worked to finish our photos in under 8 weeks, even though the holidays fell in that time frame. Neyan is awesome. Our original photographer had to canceled on us a month and a half before our wedding! Neyan responded and let me book with her while she was on vacation. I love how the pictures turned out. We had our sneak peeks the next morning. Can’t wait to see the rest!

Neyan is THE BEST! My husband and I absolutely LOVED working with Neyan! We didn't get to spend much time with her, since we live in Dallas and did not schedule an engagement shoot with her. I found Neyan through the Knot.com website while looking for photographers. I knew photography was going to be a big expense and knew it was something I did not want to choose just because of price. I wanted to "BEST" photos ever for my once in a life time day. I searched and searched and struggled with what I wanted for my day. There were so many to choose from and let me say it was a little overwhelming. I talked to several people and got ideas of what they were offering for the price. I came upon " Photos by Neyan" Her website was awesome and the pictures were extremely nice. What I loved most is she had a package that was exactly what I was needing. Two photographers was included. A lot of other photographers only gave you so many shots and the second photographer was extra. Neyan gives you basically every shot she takes that day and you have the rights to do with them whatever you would like which I absolutely loved! She was very easy to talk to and was willing to even modify her package to fit exactly what I was looking for. We communicated through out the process and she was very patient with me getting all the information she needed to her. It was nice to be able to have a flexible photographer, especially since I lived 2 hours away. Its hard to plan a wedding in Manhattan, KS when you're getting married in Kansas City. She made it so much easier on me. Day of was amazing and she got all the shots and then some that I wanted. She didn't make me feel rushed and even accommodated my extra last minute pictures I forgot about. I was able to see some sneak peaks next day and I must say they were stunning. Better than I imagined. She was able to get the website up for me and my husband to check out the photos. There was so many to see and each one was amazing! My schedule and hers didn't seem to match once the pictures were on a flash drive for me to pick up but her graciousness didn't stop there. She offered to send my package in the mail so I wouldn't have to wait any longer. I received it in the mail a few days later and she even had some pictures already printed out for me. Talk about sweet. I absolutely loved all my pictures and having her as my photographer. I would recommend her to anyone. She is so easy to work with and does GREAT work.
