extremely communicative. We started with a one-on-one meeting and discussion so she could determine our needs and vision, then she sent a mockup/mood board of what would be in season and work in the space. The florals and greenery were a key part of the vision for our venue (the Branch Museum of Architecture and Design), and Rhea did absolutely stunning work. We were already in love with our venue, but the addition of all the gorgeous seasonal blooms and lush greenery just put it over the top for us. Of course, she also made the personal arrangements - boutonnieres, corsages, bouquets, and wreath for our dog. They all came out so lovely - I absolutely loved my bouquet - it was exactly what I had envision and described to her. Rhea was also kind enough to allow us to come by her studio after the wedding to pick up our leftover flowers - being able to enjoy them at home (and press some for keepsakes) was so special.
It is also very important to note that we originally had our wedding scheduled for April 2020, but had to reschedule due to COVID. Rhea was so understanding and flexible with rescheduling - she helped make a nightmare scenario much easier on us, and we are so grateful that we had such an awesome group of vendors!

t she is so sweet and really knows how to make your vision come to life. I wanted a very dark and moody aesthetic and she completely exceeded my expectations. I also asked for my grandmothers broach to be included in my bouquet and got a little emotional about it and she was so sweet. I could not imagine having a different florist, it’s so much more than flowers and Photosynthesis really understands that.

nce it was not feasible to see any mock-ups of the florals months before the wedding (dahlias are just not in season in the summer). But throughout the process where I showed her my photo inspirations and gave her my opinion on changes, Rhea was both professional and responsive, and also reassuring as I started to fret months before the wedding. am, you take a mutually agreed upon color palette and you create MAGIC. Our arrangements begged to be touched- the textures & surprises were phenomenal. And as a June bride I asked for, and received & then some, one whopper of a bouquet of peonies. I appreciate Rhea's patience, vision and efficiency given we ended up having to go with our rain plan & venue, and as a result we were were married an hour earlier than originally planned. After that, I had several email communications with her (I'm a needy bride and had lots of questions), and if she didn't respond immediately, which she usually did, she would respond to tell me when she would respond. Given all the stresses and unknowns in wedding planning this small, professional gesture was one of the best things she could have done.
I also opted to have a "mockup" done of my wedding centerpieces. The day I went to view the mockups they exceeded my expectations and were so beautiful, I cried. I didn't even cry when I found my wedding dress, so take that as you will.
