ur wedding planner Brenna, immediately called us to discuss plan B dates. There were only Sunday's and Thursday's available but Brenna gave us many options for May through December!! My husband and I lucked out on our date because we ended up getting married in June on our dating anniversary! We like to think that it was meant to be :) When I say Brenna made the whole process stress free is an understatement. When it came to questions like, where should the decorations go? Which door should I walk out of? Can you open the doors when I walk out? Can I do this for my signature drink? SHE ALWAYS HAD THE ANSWER! She always told me to not worry and she would find a place for the decor I wanted and that we could make what I envisioned work. (She even came up with my signature drink name!) After I finished getting ready in the bridal cottage they have on site next to the venue, I went over to the venue for pictures and I was BLOWN AWAY with how it all looked! Thanks to Brenna and the Piazza Messina staff, I did not have to do any set up for the ceremony or reception. A huge time saver. We communicated with one of the owners frequently as well, Mark Russo. Mark was very very accommodating to our needs and was able to do just about everything we asked! The food (Russo's Catering) was phenomenal, the cake was beautiful and delicious (3 DIFFERENT FLAVORS!), and the venue was absolutely stunning. I loved that all of the food, cake, linens, some decorations, tables, set up, indoor/outdoor bar, and venue was included in their bridal package! It provided us a stress free day and for the many months leading up to the big day. I wish it wasn't over! I would recommend this venue and the wonderful hardworking people to any bride and groom!

and the grounds made for a stunning backdrop for pictures (both professional and casual.) We only had 100 guests, so we were able to spread out and enjoy plenty of room for tables, dancing, etc., yet we didn't feel that the space was too big for our size wedding. The staff was wonderful. Kay was so helpful. The dinner and desserts were delicious. Everything went off without a hitch. Russo's really saved the day and provided us with what should have been our first choice venue!

Due to COVID-19 we had to postpone our big celebration to 2021, but thanks to their generosity we were still able to get married at Piazza Messina on our original date with just our immediate family. They have been nothing but accommodating and flexible with us during this very difficult time. I can't wait for our celebration in 2021, and if I could I would have multiple events at this gorgeous venue!

The cottage/bridal suite was an amazing option for our girls to all get ready and for the whole bridal party to relax and snack between photos. Our wedding planner Kay was very attentive to any request we had, and had everything set up to our liking. The only downside to our experience was that a rehearsal for another wedding occurred on our wedding day onsite, only a few hours before our ceremony. Our main complaint was that the venue did not notify us this would be happening, and we found out due to pure luck. We were under the impression that the entire space would be ours alone on our wedding day. I would just confirm that you are the only wedding party with the venue staff when you book here so there aren't any surprises. Overall we had an amazing wedding day and we are very glad we chose Piazza Messina!

She definitely put my mind at ease when we realized it would rain all day. She was very responsive throughout the entire planning process and answered all of our many questions. coordinator was fabulous with communication, very helpful both distantly and on site, and genuinely wanted us to have the best day that we could. Our guests are still raving over the food, staff and beauty of the venue/location. While it was so convenient for my girls and I to have the beautiful home on site for the day to get ready, we would have loved a gentleman’s quarter for the guys. All in all, it was the best day of our lives, all thanks to Russo’s Catering.

r/outdoor accomodations, we love the relaxed, warm, rustic feel. We had just under 300 guests, seated very comfortably inside. The wedding party was a bit late arriving, so we were glad we planned appetizers and cocktails early on! Even though they arrived late, the staff managed to serve our family style meal, for 300, in a very timely manner. Which was impressive! I received, and continue to receive, many compliments on the food and service and the venue itself. Mark, Brenna and their staff could not have been better to work with and I may have been their highest maintenance client as of yet! We designed our own table decor, which Brenna and staff set out for us, saving myself, my family and friends so much time better spent with my daughter on her wedding day. It was a Friday evening, so having those details so masterfully carried out was a huge help. Brenna and I communicated mostly by email up til the week of the wedding, at which time we were in very close phone and email contact. She was very accessible thru the entire process. We love the elegant simplicity of Piazza Messina. The food was excellent, as well as our service. Staff was polite and efficient, and accessible all thru the evening, even helping to gather our table decorations and gifts to be taken home. We have no regrets at all about choosing the Russo family venue for our only daughter's wedding celebration. Their experience, and finely tuned, service and attention to detail made for a very special evening enjoyed by all.

e. Our ceremony at their gazebo/arbor out back was beautiful, we did pictures around the property for an hour after the ceremony which there were several places for adorable pictures. The food was delicious, of course Russo's catering is one of the top caterers in this region. We had the rest of the reception following which was great. This facility is beautiful and reasonably priced and worth checking out if you are planning on getting married or need to have other events. Kay Flavin was our event specialist during the majority of our planning process and she was timely on getting back to us for any of our questions, she is such a sweet woman and she was greatly appreciated. We are very thankful for our experience!!

We could not have picked a better venue. Also, we felt there are no hidden fees. The dinner prices include decor, food, bar, coordinators, bartenders, etc. They are very up front about everything but you have to read the contract (just like any contract).

n the end it got done. I felt very overwhelmed as a bride in the last 3 months that it was nice to not have to worry about the venue. The food was excellent, atmosphere was incredible, staff did great, and getting ready in the cottage was the icing on the cake. Also, on the day before it took an hour to come set up any personal stuff I wanted, they handled the rest, that was great. Would do it again in a heart beat!

h Katie. We waited weeks to hear a reply from her and she never returned our phone calls. Once we received our contract, there were many hidden fees, and you are not allowed to take any leftovers of food from the venue even if you pack it yourself. We sent another email in response to the questions we had for our contract and never heard back months later.

She clearly has a lot of experience with events, and moved us along efficiently through every small detail. She was easy to reach when we had questions or wanted to change plans.

Katie and Mark were very accommodating, and we met with them several times during the build to see how everything was going. They were responsive to our many emails and calls. We received numerous compliments from guests on how great the food was (and it absolutely was delicious). No one had a clue it was the venue's very first event until we told them so. It may have been the first event at the venue, but the staff was very experienced and attentive. The whole evening flowed perfectly without us noticing a thing, and even the DJ commented on how impressed he was with the staff. The value was also outstanding. We had everything we could have wanted for our wedding and more at a beautiful venue, packaged at a price lower than virtually all the other venues we looked at.
