I am so glad that we chose Emily to be a part of our wedding day! She was so patient and helped us to plan our floral details long-distance by expertly guiding us through visualizations of what we wanted. Emily knows so much about the flowers and creates gorgeous arrangements that last! She really took to heart our special requests, of which there were many, and gave us everything that we ever wanted. When we asked Emily to deliver centerpieces for the rehearsal dinner, collect them again, and deliver them again for the wedding reception--NO PROBLEM. When we asked if we could bring in our own ferns to incorporate into our arrangements--OF COURSE. When we asked Emily to bring MORE and MORE magnolia leaf garland--SHE WENT TO THE VENUE AND MEASURED THE STAIRCASE PERSONALLY! Everything for our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception was delivered seamlessly and arranged beautifully. Emily was so thoughtful with our personal items and bouquets. She was patient with our many changes and worked well with our wedding coordinators and décor vendor to bring the vision to life. We are so grateful to Pick-a-Petal for our whole experience, and you will not find a more accommodating and professional florist than Emily!

She was always very responsive and transparent via email and phone, and she made me feel comfortable to offer up all the ideas I had. She had amazing proposals and also was so gracious in sending over revisions when I asked for changes, which I appreciated so much. When we had to change our date and downsize our wedding, she was flexible and made it seem like no big deal even with a shorter timeline. On wedding day, I was BLOWN AWAY. I couldn't have pictured more perfect flowers, Emily delivered exactly what I wanted and more. Honestly my bouquet and my husband's boutonniere were my favorite details of the day! Emily was fabulous to work with and I would 100% recommend using them for your wedding! I chatted with 3 florists when planning my out-of-town wedding in New Orleans (we live in Chicago), and Emily was the only one who understood my vision and stayed within my budget. She was communicative and excited to execute my vision. I absolutely loved my bouquet and reception display, but the star of the show were really the boutonnières! She used bunny tails (to match our bouquets) and all of the guests kept commenting on how unique and fun they were!

Emily you are a true artist and queen! The things you can do with flowers is truly AMAZING! You and your team had the most beautiful arrangement of flowers and gave us boho spring wedding vibes! OMG!!!!!!! Emily is unbelievable!!!! I told her my budget and she not only worked within it, it was under! It felt so good to feel like a bride and not an upcharge! Emily was so kind and wonderful. Everything was just perfect and beautiful. She offered to deliver bouquets to my hotel. Instead we had everything delivered to the venue and she set everything up seamlessly! I had a destination wedding at Bevolo, a small venue in New Orleans. I originally thought I could set up everything myself and then realized that was a terrible Idea. Emily with Pick-a-Petal did the absolute best job with the flowers for my wedding! We had constant changes up until the day of due to COVID and she was so accommodating. I had actually met Emily previously through a private flower arrangement class that she taught and after that, I just knew I wanted to work with her for the wedding! Not only did she pick out beautiful flowers (I had no idea what I actually wanted and left it all to her), she is a very nice person and lovely to work with. She is also doing our flowers for our postponed wedding celebration later this year!

My husband and I hired Emily as our florist for our big wedding scheduled to happen on 10/10/2020. We ended up postponing our reception until next year and she was so flexible and understanding with changing our date for next year. We ended up deciding to get married on our original date with a small ceremony and Emily made me the most beautiful bridal bouquet and a boutonnière for my husband. Not only does she do incredible work, she is the most kind and sweet person ever! Communication via phone/email is always a joy. We can't wait to work with her for the big reception next year!

Emily was so sweet and easy to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process! Emily was fantastic to work with. When my now-husband and I first started planning our wedding, flowers were not on my "must-have" list, but that all changed once we worked with Emily. We initially went in with a vision of lush greenery -- mostly palm fronds -- with few to no flowers. We thought maybe a Magnolia here or there for a simple and subtle touch and to give some contrast. From the minute we met her in person, Emily picked up on our vibe but enhanced it. She suggested (and we ended up going with) some unique flowers that we had never thought about or heard of before -- including white anemones and black dahlias. And now, I (someone who didn't care about flowers before) wish that I could have Emily make flower arrangements for my own home. The bouquet and the table arrangements were absolutely beautiful the day of. She definitely brought in tons of palms and other greenery but also threw in florals that gave it a soft and classic feel. Emily was super attentive, responsive, organized and professional throughout the entire process. I don't think I have one thing to complain about. And she was willing to work within our budget, which is of course super important, as we didn't have a large budget for florals. Highly recommend!

Emily made all my wedding floral dreams come true. I had a very specific look and feel and she was able to accommodate me all while staying within my budget. She was able to get all the specific flowers I’d asked for in my bridal bouquet and she really went above and beyond for the bridesmaid bouquets and centerpieces. Absolutely loved working with Emily!! We planned a destination wedding from MA, she was very responsive to emails and phone calls. She worked with our budget and listened to everything I wanted/didn't want. Ours bouquets, boutonnieres, and centerpieces were gorgeous!!

We loved Emily from the start! Her ideas for flowers matched ours and we couldn't have asked for anything more with the final results. She was super easy to work with. The brides bouquet was to die for as were the bridesmaids' and the decorations were as we had requested -- simple but very tastefully done. If only I could post pictures to prove my points! Emily was fantastic! I really strugoto find a florist that would even take me on as a client for under $2000 and our budget for flowers was half that. Finally I spoke on the phone with Emily and she was what I had been looking for! Totally accommodating of all budgets, no judgement, and made me feel super comfortable talking through ideas. I wanted different coloured flowers for each bridesmaid and she put together mood boards with flower suggestions, and was totally patient with me while we went back and forth to land on the perfect mix of flowers and pastel shades. The result was absolutely stunning and so many people commented on how lovely it was to match the bouquet to the different coloured bridesmaid dresses. I didn’t even end up meet Emily as I was busy getting ready when she arrived, so she just interacted with my man of honour, but she was like a flower fairy who came in, set everything up without question - including attaching flower jars to the bridge above the ceremony area which was a last minute request of mine - and flew out leaving the place looking magical. I would highly recommend Emily - she was a breath of fresh air to work with and her flower arrangements were beautiful!

Emily is an amazing person and has such an eye for florals. I worked with her for my wedding at the Elms Mansion and she was a florist and THEN SOME. She did our flowers for rehearsal, ceremony, and reception. She also did the candles for the aisle and the tables. She was such a pleasure to work with as was so helpful when it came to the planning process and coordinating with other vendors.

So so so amazing. Our preliminary meeting was so terrific-I knew we were in good hands right away. (And not just because Emily is also our awesome neighbor!) She asked questions and brought up pieces around the florals for the wedding we had never thought of, and offered solutions for everything. She also graciously understood, quickly, some tricky family dynamics and was not only sensitive to these pieces, but again, offered solutions to keep feather from getting ruffled. I know she had 2 (3?) other weddings the weekend of my wedding, but I only found out after-given the quality of service and the attention given to every detail, there was no way i would have known otherwise. The flowers for the men arrived at the house gorgeous and on time, and the flowers for the women arrived at the venue, along with the table pieces, and everything was gorgeous and set up before I even knew they had arrived! And, when I realized I had forgotten to ask for a flower girl basket (who has a flower girl and forgets that??!!) Emily and Jim made it happen-no questions and no problem. Emily is the best!!! She was so flexible and easy to work with despite my many changes during the planning process. She was even kind enough to create a boutonniere a couple days early for me to deliver to my grandfather who unexpectedly could not make it to our wedding. Emily was such a pleasure to work with! I just cannot say enough good things about her. I know literally NOTHING about flowers, and thus had a really hard time describing what I would like. The questions she asked me were so easy to answer, even for someone who is as flower illiterate as myself, and she somehow managed to get in my head and put together a bouquet and decor that was even better than I had imagined it could be. Our wedding was this past weekend and she did both our rehearsal dinner and wedding day flowers. Everything was beautiful and she's so fair on pricing. Emily is a flower goddess and I worship her. As a perfectionist you can take my words with great weight. She executed my vision PERFECTLY. I live in Houston, got married in New Orleans, we discussed my vision entirely over the phone/ via email/pinterest photos. I knew it was going to be beautiful and have whimsical charm but Emily went far beyond my expectations. My jaw dropped and phone whipped out immediately when I saw the decorations on our tables. She knew what I wanted more than I knew. It was perfect. She's a rockstar and so fun to work with.

Emily was awesome! From our first "e-meeting" to the in person discussion and the final delivery at our wedding, she did everything we had hoped and more! I knew I didn't want a huge bouquet and we did need a pretty large arrangement for one of our tables but other than that, was totally open to her suggestions and she nailed it. She was pleasant to work with and I had zero worries going into our wedding day with our flowers. We got huge compliments from everyone on how beautiful the arrangements were, and I was able to take 2 bouquets and the main arrangement home. To top it off, Emily worked with our budget and gave us what we wanted 100% within the price range we discussed. I highly recommend her.

We kept Emily busy all weekend (she did flowers for the rehearsal dinner, wedding and reception) but she didn’t skip a beat. We were all so impressed by the flowers both nights due to her amazing work. Everything turned out better than expected and we were all so impressed. Emily did my bridal bouquet and a boutineer for my husband. Since I was traveling from out of town, we never met. When my flowers were delivered the morning of my wedding, I was completely blown away at how gorgeous. The bouquet was just stunning, and contained so many gorgeous things. I shouldn't have been too surprised, because Emily was fantastic about communicating and sending pictures and really got my vision right from the beginning but just seeing it in person was amazing.
