Pico designed the flowers and center pieces for our wedding day last month, and we could not be happier with the results! I'm still so obsessed with how perfect they came out! Pico was such a pleasure to work with - he is very professional, extremely knowledgable about flowers, and was always honest in his recommendations regarding floral arrangements, which we really appreciated. He showed us pictures of many flowers to help us decide what we want, and it's a little nerve wrecking not knowing what the bouquets will look like exactly beforehand since it's mostly decided by description. However, you do not need to worry with Pico; he is truly talented in this business. He executed our exact vision for our wedding day and made my floral dreams come true! Thank you so much, Pico!!!
I'm quite a picky bride, but Pico made sure to try and capture my vision. He was pretty reasonable in price.
When I saw the flowers at my wedding I was so happy I chose Pico. The flowers were beautiful. I especially loved the flowers on my wedding cake and on the wedding cake table in addition to my wedding bouquet. They were gorgeous.
My wife and I interviewed 4 florists and chose Pico for his creative "outside the vase" thinking. We had an outdoor wedding so Pico thought it best to bring out the natural colors of the area... so we did a lot of greens and whites. He used mason jars hanging from shephard's hooks and something he calls "the spill" where elements of the centerpieces are outside the vase. I've never seen that before and neither had our guests!!! He helped us make the event truly unique and special. My only two critiques are that he is sometimes hard to contact and he did not personally drop off the flowers to our wedding as he had initially promised. But he did send a very skilled designer and the flowers looked awesome!
Wow! That was the reaction from our guests on the flowers that Pico designed for our wedding at the Kohl Mansion. All the arrangements were completely over the top and stunning. Mind you, it was not cheap hiring Pico for our flowers, but we did not want to spare any expenses when it came to flowers. It was worth every penny. Pico is an artist, not just a flower arranger like most florists. His vision is spot on with what we wanted. It also helped a lot that he has worked with that wedding venue before. You will not be disappointed if you hire Pico for your wedding flowers.
Pico was a joy to work with- His arrangements are so creative and unique! I had two meetings with him, as well as a multitude of phone conversations! The table arrangements really made the reception tables stand out! It was like something out of my dreams... made into reality. Go with Pico - he is a sweetheart that will bend over backwards to get just the right look you want for your wedding. (AND -- he will be half the price of SF floral vendors)
Wow, wow, wow!! What can I say about Pico?? Well let’s start from the beginning. Pico supplied flowers for a nice restaurant I used to work for and I was always impressed by his creativity and unique flowers he used. I knew that if I ever got married I would love to have him as our florist. A few years passed and here I was engaged and looking for a florist for our wedding at the Kohl Mansion. I had asked around for some quotes and was grossly over quoted (the florists knew what my budget was to begin with). Some mutual friends referred me to Pico and I never realized that we’d gain not only a florist but a friend. Pico is so compassionate, intelligent, and artistic, and we felt so blessed to have him design our flowers and become a part of our lives. Pico was very fair with each portion of our floral design process, letting me know gently that we may need to spend a little more on certain aspects for our white vintage themed wedding. It was always such a pleasure to meet with him during the planning process and we found our meetings turned into a fun social hour! From day one Pico was on par with me, and knowing his floral genius, I gave him our wedding colors and theme and as much design freedom as possible. Well, let me tell you, this really paid off. Pico went above and beyond our wildest dreams. Everything from the groom’s boutonniere to our exploding million star baby’s breath table florals were fantastic, his floral pieces truly took our breaths away, and our guests felt the same way too.
I couldn’t have been more proud of the work Pico did. He is a wonderful person in every way, and works his hardest to make sure that your flowers are perfect. You can tell that Pico has a passion for what he does and takes so much pride in his art. I can’t say enough about Pico and what he did to make our wedding day gorgeous. If you are searching for a fair, artistic, fresh floral designer for your wedding or special event, then go with Pico!
