We had Mike and Nicole photograph our wedding and they went above and beyond to not only get the best shot, but to make sure everyone was having a good time! We recently had the pleasure of working with Michael Tomassi and his assistant Aime from Picture This for our son Michael’s wedding to Francine, and we couldn’t be happier with their service. Michael and Aime were instrumental in ensuring the day ran smoothly, helping to facilitate everything with ease and professionalism. His sense of humor was a highlight for us all. He knew just what to say to make posing for pictures enjoyable and fun, which really helped everyone relax and enjoy the moment. Michael was incredibly patient with our grandson who is just an infant, making sure he was happy and comfortable, which resulted in the most natural and joyful photos. He also had an impeccable eye for detail, remembering all the special shots we requested and capturing them perfectly. One of the most impressive aspects was how accommodating he was to Francine’s grandmothers. When one of them couldn’t walk to the original photo location, Michael quickly adapted and found a closer spot that worked beautifully for the family pictures. In short, we love him! I can’t say enough great things about Mike. He was so professional and sooo easy to work with. He was even instrumental in helping me figure out how all 4 of my brothers could give me away. And the pictures came out amazing. We had a lot of small children for the family photos and he was great with them and got all the smiles we wanted. Look no further…Mike was fantastic and gave us such a sense of comfort on our special day!

While we absolutely love our June 3rd wedding photos and the number of photos provided, the process of receiving them was pretty discouraging and not as expected. We understand it was a crazy summer wedding season, but we were super excited to work with the photographer, given all the great reviews, and thought we would receive all our photos in the contracted number of days.  We were provided a sneak peek on July 15th (30 business days past the wedding) when the photo upload was delayed due to a power outage at the office. We received the main batch of photos on July 17th, and upon reviewing what was sent, I noticed a large portion from the second half of the reception and family portraits were missing. I contacted our photographer, informed them of the missing photos, and inquired if there were upload issues because important wedding moments were missing from the file. I was told that the upload must have stopped and they would be reloaded again ASAP. I received a portion of the missing photos on July 27th (39 business days post the wedding). After reviewing those, there were still numerous photos missing, and reached out again. Those missing photos were not provided until August 11th (50 business days post the wedding) when I informed the photographer that the flash drive had yet to arrive in the mail a week after being told it was sent. We received the flash drive on September 7th.  Additionally, I was disappointed to see that none of our staged moments under my veil were sent (within the videographer footage, you can see photographs being taken), we don't have any photos with both of our families in one, and I think the venue space could have been used more creatively for our bridal party shots.  As mentioned, we understand entirely the chaos of a wedding season, technology can be temperamental, the postal system can be delayed, and life happens, but we were consistently told missing photos would be uploaded right after letting them know.  To reiterate, we love our photos. However, communication was difficult during the pre-wedding period, and the actual process of getting our photos was different than expected, given what is noted on their website and referenced in their other reviews.

Mike and Nicole are AMAZING! Gorgeous pictures, amazing personalities, and made us and everyone in our pictures feel comfortable and fabulous. 100% would recommend!

I cannot express enough how grateful I am that my husband and I chose picture this photography. We worked with Mike and he was an absolute dream to work with. He was very attentive to all our needs and helped us a lot with a timeline for the day of. He was always available to ask questions to throughout our engagement. The day of our wedding he made sure everything went smooth and made me feel beautiful while taking the photos. He has a great eye for detail and his second shooter Sarah was amazing as well capturing different shots through a different perspective. When our wedding day ended we had a few sneak peek photos within 2-3 days and had our wedding photos by a week and a half. I know that this is super quick when talking to other couples who had to wait months for their wedding photos. As a bride you have so many things to worry about and I was so happy I never once had to worry about my photographer.

BEST CHOICE EVER ! Both Mike and Nicole were absolutely incredible to work with- they were kind, smart, funny and kept the day moving. Without Mike I don’t think the day would have run as smooth as it did. He takes care of everything for you even beyond photography. I knew I could relax and enjoy the day because Mike was there to not only take amazing pictures but also make my day PERFECT! HIGHLY RECOMMEND PICTURE THIS !!!

Nicole and Mike are amazing!!!!! I had both photographers for my wedding and equally love them both. So friendly and overall great photographers. I absolutely love every one of the photos that was taken at my wedding!!!

Nicole and Mike did such an amazing job capturing our big day! They worked well with our venue and DJ to keep us on schedule and capture every photo we discussed in our meetings. They were fun and made us genuinely smile instead of feel like were forcing smiles all day. It was a hot humid day, and they worked as efficiently as possible to get all the photos done to get us out of the heat. The turn around time was so quick, the photo album arrived right as we were returning from our honeymoon, which was a perfect gift to come home to. I highly recommend Picture This Photography!

Nicole and Anthony did such a great job taking pictures at our wedding! They were getting such great shots of us! They were instructing us when we didn’t know what to do. They kept it fun as well! There was no other option for us when we were booking our wedding photographer. Having both worked weddings in the past, we were lucky enough to have worked side by side with the talented team at Picture This Photography. Picture This was the first vendor we booked after securing our venue, and we knew we wanted our photographer to be Mike Tomassi. My husband is very uncomfortable in front of the camera, so we both knew that Mike would put him at ease. I, on the other hand, love being the center of attention, and Mike knew exactly how to capitalize on that. Mike did our engagement pictures on late summer night where there wasn't a single cloud in the sky, but he worked his photo magic, and boom, pictures that could be featured in a museum. We planned to have our first look and ceremony outside, so we could prominently feature the fall foliage... But it rained! Luckily, Mike had a back up plan and suggested a local library where the pictures came out STUNNING. Mike and Anthony were a dynamic duo, and I never felt more beautiful than I did our our wedding day. They took the guess work out of the day and made sure my husband and I always felt comfortable and kept us laughing through the day. Something that I would be foolish not to mention is the turn around time for the pictures! All of our guests got little business cards that said the photos would be available to be viewed within 14 days. They were available within 3! We were on a plane to our honeymoon sifting through which pictures we wanted to post to our respective social media pages! We love Picture This. Thank you Mike and Anthony for the best day ever. :)

Mike and Anthony were amazing! This is my second time working with this company, this first for my friend's wedding and the second for my own. They were easy to work with and helped us plan the perfect shots. And turnaround time for photos were very quick! We loved looking at them while on our honeymoon. :)

Cara was incredible to work with! We booked with Picture This about a year before our wedding and we are so glad we did! Cara was incredibly helpful from the start. During our initial call she explained all of their different packages and ensured us that she would be the photographer working with us throughout the entire process. She was incredibly responsive, whether it was by email or text. The package we picked included an engagement shoot and she provided us some of their typical locations, but then was also willing to come to us in the Hartford area so we could capture the architecture in Bushnell park. During our engagement photos, both Cara & Anthony helped make us feel comfortable in front of the camera. We loved our engagement photos! As we got closer to the wedding she helped create a timeline and we discussed the pictures we wanted to capture. We also created a shot list on our own to ensure we had thought through each of the photos we wanted and Cara was able to work off of that. The day of the wedding she made sure the photography process ran smoothly and directed efficiently to make sure we captured all photos in a timely manner. From getting ready, to the first look, bridal party and family photos to photos of just the couple, the entire process was seamless. Cara & Anthony were able to accommodate any in the moment requests. After getting our photos back we are incredibly impressed! We have SO MANY photos of our wedding and love every single one!

Mike did a beautiful job with the posed and ceremony pictures but the best part was how he captured every candid moment during the reception. Anytime something fun or sentimental was happening he was right there. It’s like he has eyes on the back of his head. Even the guests commented about how on top of it he was, yet was never in the way. He has amazing energy. The pictures were available to view, download and share very quickly. Highly recommend!

Cara and Anthony are the absolute best!! Aside from the fact that our pictures came out BEAUTIFULLY, you can tell that these two are real pros. Cara is so kind and maternal. She responded promptly to all my texts while planning (quickly addressing any worries/questions I had). She was so patient with me when I was nervous getting ready, but then she also runs a tight ship when she needs to! She was so organized and diligent when it came to scheduled family photos. Cara and Anthony got all the money shots - sunset, water views, etc. They got our photos back to us earlier than we expected and overall we just couldn’t be more grateful for them!! The entire Picture This Photography team was nothing short of excellent; they truly made both of our wedding day and renewal/reception the most incredible days ever! Due to the pandemic, my husband and I ended up having a very small church wedding ceremony in November of 2020 and then a rescheduled venue reception in December of 2021. We selected this photographer based on family friends recommendations and we were so happy we did. We primarily worked with Nicole throughout the process and for engagement photos and she was wonderful and captured exactly what we wanted! On the wedding day we also had Mike with Nicole and he brought so much fun and humor to the day. They kept us smiling (and laughing) and got all the shots we asked for. We just received our link to the photos and they are all gorgeous! What I especially love is that you can see the true emotion in all the pictures. Picture this did an amazing job with our wedding. Nicole and Mike were the best. They were flexible and accommodating while also making us laugh and giving us ease about the day. My now husband got food poisoning the day of our wedding and they were accommodating to give us breaks, as well as helping the ceremony and family photos go with ease. WOW Mike and Nicole worked so incredibly hard for the whole entire event. Both were so professional and fun to be with. We are so happy to have found Nicole and Picture This. After our first meeting with her and seeing some of her work we knew she was the photographer for us. Not only is her work amazing, but she is fun, energetic and extremely personable. We had to postpone our original wedding date due to the pandemic but we still had a small intimate gathering at home. Nicole happily came and did our pictures for that as well as our wedding reception and ceremony a year later. The pictures came out amazing. So colorful and vibrant with such beautiful scenery and background. She was extremely professional, prompt, and catered to our needs. She knew exactly what pictures to take at certain points throughout the day to get the best shots given the sun and lighting conditions. She definitely went the extra mile for us considering we had our dog with us at the ceremony and was there to help with the bride's dress whenever she needed. There were a few tables that we wanted to take special pictures with during the reception and we gave her a list and just told her when and she was ready camera in hand. Aside from how good of a photographer she is and all her talent, knowledge and experience, Nicole is just overall a fun, nice, kind person. She made the whole experience feel natural and she was a blast to work with. We would recommend her to anyone we know that needs a photographer and if we ever needed one again we wouldn't even think of contacting anyone else.
