She was organized, checked in with us throughout our whole planning process, and even held a phone call with us to plan out our entire timeline - something a photographer does not usually have to do but Katie always offered her help, advice, and reassured us that we could ask her any and all questions throughout the entire engagement and wedding timeline. In addition to email, phone/video communication, we were fortunate to meet Katie for a coffee so we could ask her questions and get to know each other leading up to our big day. Another way that she goes above and beyond for her couples and easily becomes not just a wedding photographer but a friend and someone we were genuinely excited to have at our wedding! On wedding day, Katie showed up early, scoped out the venue and got a feel for how the bride and groom were feeling and jumped into action while sticking to the timeline but never once rushing the day along. She effortlessly led us from first looks, portraits, group photos, and detail shots all while keeping it fun, lighthearted, and always the focus on us. The photos we received as sneak peaks the next morning were beyond anything we could have imagined!! Katie’s work is beyond beautiful and we would get married over and over again if it meant we could have her as a photographer each time! I could have made a better choice. We had to reschedule our session due to COVID-19, and Katie was more than willing to be flexible and work with us. Our actual session was a lot of fun, and we absolutely love all of our photos! We are especially grateful because these engagement pictures are going to serve as wedding pictures for us, since we are not having a traditional wedding ceremony.
