Pictus Photography

There were two things I did correctly in 2016: the first was marrying my husband, the second was hiring Pictus Photography to take the photos. We were beyond thrilled with not only the end result, but the way Ben and his team organized the entire day. He managed to capture every beautiful moment without interfering with the flow of events. You wouldn’t have even known he was there most of the time, he made himself and his assistant very much in the background. We went over everything together before the wedding so he knew my priorities for the pictures I dreamed of having, we even did some shots from inspiration photos I showed him prior which came out amazing. In addition to all of this, Ben made me feel at ease, comfortable and very beautiful while we were doing the bridal photos. It’s a very overwhelming day that moves fast so having Ben’s patience and support through the photo sessions was something I really appreciated and still think of to this day when I look back at the album. Ben even caught some (what we thought) were secret moments between me and my husband when we thought no one was around, which really was a welcome surprise! It showed me Ben and his team were really paying attention for the duration of the day. Nothing was missed. The photography is an area of your wedding that you do not want to let just anyone handle. You’d be surprised at how much lighting, indoor/outdoor, organizing the family so everyone is in the pictures, the right angle, all effects the final product, and you really want the best. We had the very best.

Ben was the perfect choice for my March 2023 wedding photographer. He was so easy to work with and very professional and fun. He made the photography sessions feel relaxed and natural. Ben also made sure to include all my requested pictures/ poses and people groupings. He responded quickly and answered all questions very clearly. Ben was fantastic from the consultation to the wedding day. My wife and I were nervous about the photography process and concerned about finding someone that was a good fit.
