Pie Sisters

I first tried pie from Pie Sisters because they generously donated some to the Georgetown House Tour Tea and I was absolutely hooked. Considering that and the fact that both my husband and I prefer pie to cake, it is no surprise we checked out Pie Sisters to cater our wedding pie. We had a wonderful tasting experience. They were so nice and welcoming, gave us coffee, and let us choose 3 different cuppies (individual size pies) to try. Then they took the time to sit down and talk to us about ourselves, our event, and the pies we had tasted. The whole experience was so warm and personal, and it felt like they cared way more about us than the other bakeries we looked at, but that’s often what you get with a smaller business. They even offered to rent us some decorations to use on the pie display table at the wedding! Leading up to the wedding the communication was great, they delivered everything on time, and most importantly the pies were absolutely delicious! We will absolutely continue to get pies from Pie Sisters for all our future events!

We chose to have pie instead of cake at our wedding since both prefer it, and chose Pie Sisters as our wedding caterer. They were prompt in giving us an estimate for a dozen pies, including one with our initials carved into the crust. We had apple, pecan and key lime, all of which were big hits with our guests. I am still getting compliments weeks later about the desserts. They are a great choice if you love pie :)

We loved having pie (instead of cake) at our fall wedding and working with Pie Sisters made it so easy. We thought that we might want pie, from the beginning, but we knew we just needed to find someone to do this. Luckily, we found Pie Sisters. They do "mini pies" or, as they call them "cuppies". They are really cute! You can schedule an appointment with them to do a pie tasting - which was so much fun. Ultimately we decided to go with 4 flavors of cuppies and also 4 regular pies of those same flavors. They also delivered and set up the display - and the photos of them look amazing. Everyone loved the pies, and there were very few remaining at the end of the night. All of the flavors were fantastic. Another good thing is that you can go to their shop to have more pie, if we're ever craving it - unlike if you have a wedding cake. So, we can kind of relive our wedding day through pie :-) And, with the glass plates for the large pies, you can return them for $5 each and get credit for more pie! Needless to say, I would certainly recommend them for any special event. Thank you Pie Sisters!
