Filming professionally for over a decade, Peter Kappes, the director of Piece by Piece Films has been trusted to film and photograph weddings, real estate, commercials and corporate events for celebrities and executives from some of the top companies in the world, such as Wedding Wire, NBC, Center Cal LLC, Visalus, and H&M. Most recently photographing and filming the construction process for the 100 million dollar project, Ark Encounter, which was made into a book and documentary.
While residing in Los Angeles for 11 years, Peter had the opportunity to work side by side with industry professionals. This along with thousands of hours of experience in the field has enabled Peter to hone his craft in cinematography, videography, photography, and post-production.

Was very, very disappointed with the final product. Didn't like the edit - for example - they interview the limo driver and a waiter and put that in the section where my family was...
wishing us congratulations - Why would you interview a waiter? So tacky in my opinion. We had to ask them to take it out. Shows their taste level right there. Many more examples like that. We felt a lot of precious moments weren't included enough. For example, they didn't even show our Readers when they spoke during the ceremony instead, they kept the camera on my husband and myself and we could only hear their voices. I could go on but what it boils down to was that I was not happy with the video and am glad that my photographers were very thorough because at least we have photos of every moment to remember our day by.

so fit our budget so we decided to hire him for a summer wedding. Throughout the planning phase of our wedding, Peter was always available for questions and/or suggestions and we always felt super comfortable working with him. He did an awesome job of capturing everything we wanted on the day of the wedding and we did not feel overwhelmed with the presence of camera crew. We were also very impressed with his video and sound equipment. After the wedding we went through a few edits and Peter was always very attentive and made sure we got what we wanted. We are very happy with the end result and would highly recommend him to other couples looking to capture that special day!
