Overlooking Boston Harbor, Pier 4 at Courageous Sailing delivers a truly unforgettable waterfront backdrop for weddings and large-scale events. Courageous Sailing is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth through sailing and experiential learning. When you host an event at Pier 4, your celebration directly supports these programs, adding purpose and impact to an already meaningful day. Pier 4 is a venue-only rental offering approximately 10,000 square feet of waterfront space. The rental includes exclusive use of the pier, a spacious waterfront tent with bistro lighting, the end-of-pier feature area and the required City of Boston event licensing. Clients manage all vendors, allowing for creative control over food, rentals, entertainment and production. Pier rental rates range from $8,500-$12,500, depending on date and event details. Pier 4 is best suited for full-scale weddings and elevated corporate events, with most total event budgets landing in the mid-five figure range and above once all vendors are considered.
