She was able to reassure me that Mimi and Frenchie are the right fit and that we just needed some clarity on what it was that I wanted. Once that was cleared up, my second trial went so much better! Mimi was able to do the full glam I was looking for and Frenchie, the queen of Hollywood waves, did a great job. I really loved the way I looked after my second trial and I was feeling myself which is what you want to feel as a bride. On the wedding day, I really loved getting ready with them and we chatted and sang to songs together. It was a great morning on the most important day of my life! Thank you to Mimi and Frenchie for making me feel so beautiful on my big day and to Dana for checking in frequently and ensuring it all went well. I recommend Pin Me Up, especially when the competition feels unnecessarily expensive!

solutely no communication between the stylists the day of or in preparation. The stylists did not know how many services they were doing when we walked into the getting ready room. I was explicitly told by one stylist not to make a hair and makeup schedule and that they would handle it on their own. Low and behold it was just so that artist could do more services and get paid more. This was very evident when she didn't take the time to apply any lip stick or lip gloss to the girls she treated

just like the example photo I showed them, and my final day-of look was exactly what we aligned on during my trial. The entire team was so nice, professional, and responsive throughout the whole booking and trial process. They made the morning of the wedding feel relaxed and fun! I am so incredibly happy with how everything turned out and highly recommend them to any future brides!

ur day and our hair stylists (Harley and Holly) and makeup artists (Gina and Kristine) did an exceptional job with everyone! I in particular do not routinely do much to my hair or wear makeup, but they made me feel so comfortable and I truly ended up having a look that I absolutely loved at both the trial and the day of. My wife also had an amazing experience and looked stunning. We are so grateful and recommend their services to anyone!

Special shoutout again to Val and Liz for truly going above and beyond to navigate the crazy Chicago Marathon traffic to get to where we were getting ready. Lesson learned to always have exact pictures of what you want because your idea of soft glam can look very different from someone else's. I only had time for a makeup trial since I was traveling from out of town and that went a lot better so I decided to use them for wedding. I want to personally shout out Zia who did the makeup for me and me bridesmaids on the wedding day, she is amazing! I highly recommend her, especially if you're an Asian woman, she understands what works for us. My wedding hair didn't turn out exactly as I wanted but it was good enough, although my hair comb kept falling out.

I had a trial about a month before my wedding date, completed by Michelle (hair) and Lily (makeup). I loved my trial results so I didn't end up changing anything for the day of. kind of mix up in the scheduling or location and my stylist was not there. Dana reached out while I was on site and we got me rescheduled super quickly, so it wasn't a huge deal. PMU said they would "make it right", but didn't specify what that meant, and nothing ever came of it. One success was at my rescheduled hair trial: my stylist executed my requested style perfectly, and then I promptly realized that I didn't like it! I have to emphasize that that was on me - not the stylist, who followed my request exactly. The stylist then jumped in with some suggestions for tweaks that helped me feel more confident and improved the style while staying in line with my vision. My day-of hair turned out great. Because of the hair trial, I was nervous about how it would come out, but I shared a couple more ideas for tweaks, and it came out beautifully. I got a lot of compliments, and my now husband and I both loved how it suited my style and the dress I was wearing. Pin Me Up also accommodate three last minute additions to the hair schedule when our moms and an aunt asked to be included. It was super easy to make schedule updates and to modify the contract to include the extra styles. Our stylist did a nice job with everyone's hair. We kept our styles pretty simple, so I'm not sure how more complex updos would look, but our simple styles turned out lovely.

As someone with Asian hooded eyes, I’ve often struggled to find makeup artists who know how to work with them, but my artist was incredible. It was the first time I’ve ever had my makeup done professionally and truly loved it. My bridal hair and makeup also held up perfectly through hours of dancing!

the ceremony, I had the braid which was used to hold my veil sticking out the entire time. Bridesmaid who had another makeup artist (not Demi) had to redo their makeup themselves. Extremely disappointed.

e planning was easy, quick, and helpful. I loved the portal that is easy to navigate and helpful by containing all the information for the project. I have very curly hair that gets extremely frizzy in the summer along with being a very sweaty person. These two characteristics made me very nervous for my August wedding. I let my hairstylist and makeup artist know about this and they promised me that they would do everything in their power to make my hair and makeup last.  My hair and makeup lasted ALL night long through all the dancing and sweating. The artists were so nice, excited for my big day, and helpful. I also got my bridesmaids and mom mini makeup sessions and hair updos. They all looked fabulous! I received so many compliments on my makeup and hair. Thank you for making my day so amazing!

My bridesmaids, mom, and mother in law were also very impressed and happy with their looks. Everyone was very professional, and I had a great experience working with them.

ridesmaids commented on how kind everyone was. we kept Lily on to do touch ups, and that was a great splurge. would use this company again. only small con would be not being able to choose the artist/see their portfolio beforehand, but I'm sure that's for a reason!

I had 11 bridesmaids, mother of the groom, mother of the bride and myself for hair as well as 12 total for makeup and they made the getting ready process extremely efficient and enjoyable. Each one of my girls was thrilled with their final look and I couldn't have been happier with mine. The whole team was reliable and great at the services they provided!

trial experience was very helpful to get an idea of what I wanted and to make sure that the wedding day experience went smoothly with my hair. The results were beautiful for my hair and all of my bridesmaids and mother's hair as well. Kim was so patient and fun to work with and was very kind. I would definitely recommend working with Kim for your wedding day hair needs. Her updo's, curls, and hairstyles were great!

our best selves, on our best day. Pin Me Up DELIVERED. The artists I worked with were so great at listening and asking questions about my look, so everything ended up just how I wanted it to be. Don't skip booking a trial - that was a great chance to meet the artists, and to try things and adjust my look. They were accommodating of a super early start for our brunch wedding. Coordination-wise, communications were sometimes delayed, and we did have one last minute change from PMU the night before the wedding. Luckily our wedding coordinator was able to incorporate that change smoothly while I was at the rehearsal dinner. I recommend Pin Me Up, especially if you have a good wedding coordinator. The communication piece would have stressed me out if I was coordinating everything myself, but I’m sure everything would have come together in time regardless. The hair and makeup services were truly excellent. Several of my girls said it was the best professional hair and/or makeup styling they had ever experienced.

n my bridal look. I was apprehensive and scheduled a trial, but my makeup artist showed up at the wrong location day-of, so I had to forgo the trial. However, I was still charged for the trial. I will say, my makeup day-of was as I was hoping and my stylist listened well to me wanting minimal makeup, but I felt the hair/makeup on my more glam bridesmaids was underwhelming. We also didn't adhere to the schedule we provided, and I feel some of us got less attention as we were rushed.

Liz also provided beautiful makeup services for myself and my attendees. She listened to everyone's unique makeup needs and is a pro with fake eyelashes! Rene also provided hair services for my attendees and he created some beautiful hair styles! All in all my hair and makeup artists were incredibly professional, easy to work with, and made getting ready incredibly calming.

On my wedding day, she was awesome at nailing everyone's different hairstyle requests and styles. Branden not only made sure to discuss everyone's wants with the makeup in detail before getting started, but truly tailored each person's makeup to their comfort level. I was so impressed at his level of personalization while still making sure everyone's makeup would work great for photos. All in all, on my wedding day, my hair and makeup held for over 12 hours, through windy outdoor photos, to crazed hours of dancing. I felt absolutely stunning on my wedding day and I couldn't be more grateful to them. I will be going to them for all my hair and makeup needs in the future. The backend communication was very straight forward, quick, and clear. I loved working with Pin Me Up!

l, so I booked a second. I looked lovely, but I was very uncomfortable with the amount of make up. Branden listened and offered suggestions. I was much happier after my second trial. The issue I had was trying to schedule my second trial. I emailed multiple times and contacted them on the portal where I had selected services, but I waited and waited for someone one to get back to me. Finally, I just text my make up artist to try to help me get the second trial scheduled. It seemed that perhaps they were super busy, but it was a bit stressful to have to wait for days and days and reach out multiple times. I did like that they didn't have a minimum. I only had two people getting hair and make up done, so it was great that they were happy to accommodate such a small group.
