We worked with Carly and Victoria who are EXCEPTIONAL in their own right; they assessed our taste and venue and came up with a selection of options for us to choose from for hors d’oeuvres, dinner, and passed treats. They met with us in person to for a tasting dinner and discussed presentation and ingredients. When we weren't sure about the direction, they were right there to guide us on what they thought would be most well-liked and ELEGANT. And they were right! Our guests couldn't stop praising the unique and delicious menu options, which featured creative touches that made the dining experience unforgettable. There is no way the event would have been the same without Pinch. My husband and I had to cancel our 2020 wedding at Weylin due to COVID and we just finally had a three year anniversary celebration, along with a first birthday party for our daughter. Pinch recently started working with Weylin and we were given the choice to switch over to them, and truly I cannot IMAGINE if we had said no!! From the get-go everything with Pinch was incredible - instead of providing us with a standard list of hors d’œuvres and main courses to pick from they listened to our tastes and preferences, and got a feel for the vibe we were going for, then subsequently suggested customized options for us to pick from. The tasting with Pinch was amazing, from the food and the presentation to the company, and they allowed us to make whatever tweaks we wanted, both small and large, thereafter. Carly was incredible to work with, helping not only with the food and cocktail selections, but also with small details like how many custom napkins to order, perfecting our cocktail signs, brainstorming edible party favors, and selecting linens. At the event every guest seemed have a different favorite dish, from the spicy tuna to the cheese doodles to the taco bar to the most insane butter and bread basket you’ve ever seen. I told our guests to come hungry, but I don’t think even I was prepared for how amazing everything was and how much people would rave about the food and drinks. And the custom cocktails!! My husband works in the alcohol industry so they were of the utmost importance to use, and Carly helped us to TRULY customize them to our preferences and honor whatever we wanted. At the event, watching the bar tenders drop chili oil into spicy margaritas and shave chocolate over top old fashioneds - let’s just say it wasn’t your typical wedding fare, in the BEST way!! The servers were also fantastic, working quickly and efficiently, and were thoughtful about everything - they even held back our main courses while we were up mingling so they wouldn’t get cold!! This is truly a group that cares about the little things and about making your night the best ever. Pinch is an unbelievable company (to do all of what they do zero-waste is BEYOND amazing!) and my only hope is that we have many, many more weddings and events with them in our future, both as guests and hosts!!

me amazing food at my wedding. I honestly didn’t believe her. I am VERY big into food so I knew that while the food would be good “for wedding food”, it still wouldn’t be great. Pinch proved me wrong. When I came into my cocktail reception, people kept talking to me about how amazing the appetizers were and since I knew that was only the very beginning of what pinch had planned, I knew everyone was in for a treat. People did not stop commenting on the food at my wedding all night. The salad was a highlight - “so fun!” - the miso cod was not fishy at all (a feat for mass-cooked fish) and the chicken (with parsnip purée, beet spaetzle and blackberry jus) was cooked sous vide (so not at all dry) and was better than the chicken dishes I’ve gotten at many restaurants. They also worked with me to curate a menu I was excited about. My husband loves pulled pork and so they created a pulled pork and cabbage slaw slider for us which many people told us afterward was a highlight. My vegan/vegetarian friends cleaned their plates of our extra vegetarian option (black rice and pumpkin purée). When I didn’t want as much dessert as they offered in their proposal, they pivoted to “late night” treats which included pizza coming out onto the dance floor toward the end of the night. When I asked if they could do some ice cream, they added chocolate (my husband’s favorite) and sour cream ice cream cones, and more than I could count. I also have to give a shout out to their amazing staff. I know everyone’s nice to you when you’re the bride, but they had a sampler plate of appetizers brought to us after the ceremony, the person manning their taco station made sure my husband and I each got a taco of our choice when we didn’t make it over before the end of cocktail hour, and our personally assigned waiter, Steve, made sure our food orders went in and we got our entrees on time even though we got distracted by our guests and forgot to let him know we were ready. Everyone kept saying that they knew the food at my wedding was going to be good so I was feeling a lot of pressure — and even so pinch exceeded my expectations! Multiple multiple people said it was the best wedding food they’d ever had and I would have to agree!

The menu choosing process with Carly was easy and so much fun because Pinch offers so many WOW options for their cocktails and passed appetizers! The staff on the night were so courteous, well presented and professional. We loved our Lead Captain Steve! The quality and presentation of the food is really exceptional. Our NYC foodie guests are impressed! They are still talking about the kimchi fluke and churros brelly! Five weeks was a short time to pull everything together so perfectly, but Pinch had no trouble at all, Carly even said she could do it within two weeks! In a way, I am glad my old plans did not work out so I could have the opportunity to work with Pinch for my wedding. We are already talking about 10 years anniversary at the same venue and hopefully have Pinch again! Thank you so much, guys! Cam & William xo
