the entire experience. The food was repeatedly deemed "the best we've ever had at any wedding" and we loved the multiple rooms that allowed our guests to meander throughout the evening. We were blessed with very warm weather in December and even used the awesome patio for cocktails, cigars, and pictures. And I also highly recommend the upgraded Pepino room for the bride to get ready. We arrived at 9:00 am and it was the perfect, relaxing place for all of us to get ready while the groom and his men were in the complimentary suite. This arrangement proved to be ideal for the photographer and videographer team as well. While we did not have the ceremony here, we loved every aspect of our reception and we often look at the pictures with very fond memories.

The food was fantastic and the cherry on top was our late night pretzel bar - our guests still can't stop raving about it! The grounds were beautiful for taking pictures, including the garden up by the Mansion where we took some of our bridal photos, everything was so picturesque. Ultimately everything went off without a hitch and I would definitely recommend this venue to any couple searching for their perfect wedding spot :)

dding date wasn’t until Oct 2022. In-between that time frame, new management took over and that’s when we started having some issues. I highly suggest hiring a wedding coordinator/event planner for your reception, even though pine knob includes an “event manager” with your package. The event manager at pine knob does not guarantee that they will be able to help with any set up or take down and you only have 30 mins after your reception ends to clean up/pack up all of your belongings or else you get fined. It seems that they also are short staffed, as they can’t guarantee a beef carver to work the beef carving station if you choose that as one of your food options. We weren’t impressed at our food tasting, but the food on our wedding day was outstanding. We did the buffet option and a lot of our guests commented on how good the food was as well. All in all, it’s a beautiful venue, but it seems they could use some help.

He took my photographer, videographer, husband, and I on the golf cart to quickly get to some ideal photo locations by the garden/top of the mountain area. It was cold that day and he had a blanket ready for me which was so thoughtful. I forgot my bouquet at the top of the mountain and he made a special trip up to get it just in time for the bridal party entrance. Anne was with me on my wedding day and was so accommodating and made me feel way less nervous. She checked in on us all night, boxed our dinners, fluffed my dress before I walked down the aisle, and much more. It’s really the little things that make such a big difference in the grand scheme of things. Our guests raved about the food and how perfectly it was prepared and still hot when served. We would recommend Pine Knob to anyone getting married, you will not regret it!

The tasting was amazing and really helped us feel confident our guests would be satisfied. Our coordinator was amazing and incredibly easy to get a hold of. I never felt like I was asking annoying questions or asking for too much. The staff was so helpful the day of, we were really able to enjoy our day, and the staff even made sure my husband and I got a plate and made time to eat :) We chose the Carriage House and got so many lovely compliments from our guests which really confirmed for us that we made the right choice with Pine Knob.

The people with whom my daughter and her husband worked with were responsive and professional. The wait staff and bar tenders were professional and personable. The bridal suite is the PERFECT place for the bride and her party to get ready. The food was delicious! It arrived hot and tasted incredible. Our guests had a choice between a beef and chicken duet, a vegetarian meal, or a vegan meal and I heard nothing but rave reviews about all of it! There were about 125 guests at the wedding and the dining room accommodated them all with some room to spare. Pine Knob Mansion is an absolute jewel and I'm so glad our daughter's wedding was there!

beautiful winter wedding. My daughter had exactly what she hoped for, a beautiful romantic winter wedding. The food was delicious, with more than enough food than you can possibly eat. Also very accommodating for vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free meals. The appetizers were plentiful for our guests. The service was impeccable by the entire team, starting with valet parking to food service to coat check and to everything in between. Thank you Pine Knob Mansion for creating a beautiful wedding for my daughter and son-in-law.

ng a massive wreath along the stained glass window in the carriage house that was the end of our aisle. Bridgette and Kurt were amazing and made sure all of our guests were properly directed and fed! The food was absolutely top notch, although from our tasting where we loved every single dish we knew it would be awesome. They even worked with us to buy cases of craft beers that my husband and I love to serve to guests! They are truly dedicated to making your day as perfect as they can, with Kurt even running out to shovel snow that had fallen that morning off of the patio for our wedding party to take photos. The only possible thing that could have been better was some of the communication with Pine Knob Staff about all the details of our wedding as we initially booked the venue before Bridgette started at Pine Knob, so there was some miscommunications at first. However, Bridgette and Kurt worked with us to make sure we had everything we wanted and more.

nu. The venue is beautiful and there are lots of places to take pictures. The servers were GREAT!!! Very friendly and listened to us and our guests. They have a beautiful bridal suite that myself and bridesmaids got ready at. You will not be disappointed you booked here.

RAVED. I had so many people available to assist, even after a small hiccup with my photography, everything turned out beautifully. We had a great party and I am thrilled I chose The Carriage House for my friends and family.

Two months prior to my 9.19.2020 wedding Pine Knob contacted us regarding new packages they had created to accommodate Covid-19 restrictions. My husband and I decided to go with the ceremony only package and just have a small wedding ceremony. Pine Knob made changes as needed and was easy to work with. Then two weeks prior to my wedding, Pine knob contacted me stating that the wedding that would occur on 9.20.2020, the day after mine, had rented a tent that would need to go up the Thursday before our wedding and would be in the background as we said I do. They then retracted this statement to say the tent was actually a permanent structure for the rest of the 2020 wedding season which we would realize was a lie on our golf trip the following weekend. I know what you are thinking, a little dramatic over a tent. However, we tried to reason with them to delay the tent, offering extra money to put it up after our ceremony as we understood that they may be facing financial distress due to COVID. Pine know gave us three options: 1. A full refund and to go elsewhere, which was not an option 2 weeks out. 2. Be married in their Garden area which had no lighting and would be dangerous to walk down to in heels and a large ball gown. 3. Drape the polls in the background with Garza. Note the polls were not the issue, the tent being visible in the background was the problem. As we had no choice we decided to continue on with the tent and we never uttered the words that we were considering canceling and I accepted that this was just another thing I had to deal with. Now this is what upset me most, the day of I requested that the doors be open an hour early for hair and makeup. Which was confirmed the night before with Corinna. When arriving the doors were locked and no one would answer phones. Fast forward to 1.5 hours before the ceremony, there are no Pine Knob staff to be found and when the GM finally showed up he began putting out lawn chairs, my mother then informed him we wanted Chivari chairs. He began yelling and pointing at her claiming that we had canceled and that he had been trying to reach us all week, a lie that we later confirmed with our phone records. When I confronted them the next day, they did not apologize for being rude to my mother they simply said they were sorry I was unhappy and began to try and blame everything on me and claim they also offered that I get married on the golf course, which they did not, I have the emails to prove it. They also claimed we did not provide a guest count and all the final details, which I have email proof we provided it the same day they asked. While I am happy for the couple who's wedding ran smoothly the day after ours, I am truly upset that the staff at Pine Knob felt they could not accommodate both couples and would treat us as if we were inferior and a bother to them.

As for the rest of the staff, they were very professional and we got several compliments about the service. I would highly recommend!

planning quit the week before our wedding. Kurt picked up the pieces and worked really hard to make some last minute changes due to rain. He was very kind and accommodating prior to the event and during the day of. The rain definitely threw a few things off. We still had a great time and people seemed to enjoy the food. Keep in mind you are only allotted half an hour for clean up time. My entire family was hustling in making sure everything was cleaned up and loaded into vehicles when another "manager" approached. He was extremely rude and unreasonable. Everyone was working very hard in getting things out of the building and he proceeded to constantly count down the minutes until we HAD to be out. He even locked my mom inside the building! It would have been a different story if we were standing around doing nothing, but everyone was hustling!

the property just the way you like it. The ability to take photos in and around the property, have the ceremony, and reception all in one location really allows for the day to be as relaxed and enjoyable as possible. We truly enjoyed working with the staff to get our day planned and everything looked perfect. Thank you!

ed. I still felt obligated to leave a review because through all of this heartbreak and disappointment of postponing our wedding during the pandemic, Angie and Corinna were absolutely amazing. They kept my hopes high that we might be able to have our wedding on our original date, but they also were realistic and empathetic. I’ve heard so many horror stories about couples not getting their money back when they have to postpone or cancel their weddings, but Pine Knob mailed me a check reimbursing every cent we paid to them. The venue was so beautiful and well maintained and I knew that if we still had our wedding there, Angie and Corinna would help us execute the day perfectly. While it didn’t work out for our wedding, I can’t wait to host a different event there in the future!

It is in a convenient and BEAUTIFUL location and the staff is so knowledgable and responsive. The Gardens up by the Mansion for our pictures were also so perfect for our photos! Then we had our food tasting and WOW, it was hard to narrow down what we wanted for our big day because it was all amazing. Leading up to our wedding, Corinna was an absolute angel to work with and we made a great team. Whenever she was out of office, Angie was fantastic to talk to as well! Then our big day arrived. I cannot explain how wonderful the whole team was to work alongside for my big day and there was no one else I would have rather worked with. I cannot picture my wedding happening anywhere else with any one other than Corinna and her team! They made us feel so special the entire time and did not let some rain on and off get in the way. Corinna made sure everything stayed on track while also talking to me throughout the night. I am pretty laid back so Corinna helped me make decisions and made everything so perfect and flawless. I highly recommend Pine Knob Carriage House (and Mansion but I was at the Carriage House!). LONG STORY SHORT: Corinna (and Angie) and their whole team are fantastic, the scenery is gorgeous, they are very accommodating and knowledgeable, very responsive, the food is amazing, and they will always have my highest recommendation! :)

more than we wished. Pine Knob (and Corinna especially) made our wedding perfect. They had a “no problem” attitude for any obstacle we overcame, offered us back up dates when we weren’t sure when our parents would be able to fly in from India, and let us change our minds about countless things. With all the stress of a pandemic wedding, the venue did not add to any of it at all. They were constantly supportive and flexible and I can’t recommend them enough. Day of, the venue was gorgeous!!! Rent the bridal suite, you will not want to miss it. Corinna was there the entire time helping us out and the day was so smooth and perfect. The food was AMAZING and there was a lot more of it than I thought there would be. My big recommendation is to bring your own chargers because they were great on the table. If you are thinking twice about this venue, absolutely go for it. For the wedding pictures alone, the venue is gorgeous. For the wedding day stress, they accommodate and plan out the day. Pine Knob Mansion is the perfect venue!

super easy. Our new wedding date ended up still have multiple guidelines but they did everything that could to make it as easy and beautiful as possible. The entire reception had to be moved outside and it drizzled up until dinner. Their staff was wonderful at keeping things covered and wiping down chairs. We still had a wonderful wedding and the sun came out for dinner. The food was amazing, every guest raved about it. They were kind and reassuring during the whole process. Absolutely amazing people to work with. Brought my stress level from a 10 to a 2. I can't say it enough, amazing venue.

The food was amazing. The venue goes above and beyond to accommodate dietary restrictions and ensure all guests eat a great meal. We had so many compliments from our guests about how great of a place it was to have a wedding. The venue is gorgeous and we received great customer service throughout the whole process.

of my decorations in their offices the week before my wedding which was amazing. The only downside we had was that they require you to take everything with you the night of the wedding so we were flustered trying to make sure that we had everything when we left. One of my favorite and most appreciative thing that they did was box my husband and my's food up so that we could take it with us and eat once we got back to the hotel because we barely got to take one bite during the wedding! Overall, an amazing experience. Our reception was magical!

The price was amazing for everything we received and the service from the staff is just completely on point and they are there with you the whole day so no one misses a step and the wedding day flows smoothly and perfectly!!!! Extremely in love with the venue and the people that make it all happen!!! I highlyyyyy recommend!!!!

If you want a hint, order the stuffed mushrooms as a side dish instead of a vegetable, your guests will not be disappointed! The staff and Corinna set everything up PERFECTLY, I literally could not have imagined things looking better than I invisioned. The photo opportunities all over the venue made an incredibly beautiful and timeless wedding album. BUT... The thing that stood out most importantly to me as the bride, was the day of coordinator, Corinna. That girl needs a raise because she is nothing short of amazing. My entire night was smooth and worry free because of her. She bustled my dress for me before I entered the reception, made last minute changes to the seating chart on a whim for me and she even fixed the flowers on my cake because I hated them. She alone, makes this venue worth booking. If I could do my wedding night all over again, I would forever choose this venue. You will not be disappointed.

. The person who was supposed to give us our tour was presumably not on the premises, and was unable to be reached by other staff members, which we felt was unprofessional. Finally, an additional wedding coordinator arrived to oversee the preparations for a wedding that day, tried to call the staff member we were supposed to see, and again was unable to reach them. That coordinator then told us that she'd take us for a tour after 20 minutes of sort of ignoring us which was awkward. This all had obviously rubbed us the wrong way. Additionally, the date we had in mind was not available, even though I had inquired numerous times about that specific date, so the experience seemed like a waste of our time. I hope our experience doesn't continue for other couples interested in Pine Knob, and the appropriate corrections can be made going forward. The venue itself is beautiful and historic, with many areas that would make for great photos. Because of this experience however, I would not recommend this venue.

viewed the venue in the winter too and that's when we fell in love with it. There is no season at the Carriage House that is not beautiful. The food was AMAZING. Do not judge based on the food tasting. We did not love that part but the actual food at the wedding was so delicious. The communication is lacking a bit though. Although they do weddings there all the time, they know the timeline of weddings, but being a bride I would have wanted more communication leading up to the weeks before.
