Pine Orchard was founded in 1901 by Alden M. Young with a group of Pine Orchard friends who, after years of their own families enjoying their summers here, came to a consensus that they all desired to create something more permanent.
Pine Orchard Yacht and Country Club offers a spectacular panoramic view of Long Island Sound and its majestic Thimble Islands for all special occasions.
Guests can mingle outside for cocktails on the lawn overlooking the Sound in its lovely seaside setting before retiring to the grand dining room with its nautical theme.
Our Ballroom and Main Dining Room can accommodate up to 230 guests. There is a stage in the Ballroom where bands and DJs can set up. The Pine Orchard Club is available for use by members, or member-sponsored private events.

ue because I love the water. Obviously Pine Orchard checked these boxes. The club itself is beautiful and the event hall is spectacular. So many guests were blown away with how beautiful the venue was, the politeness and professionalism of the staff, and the food was AMAZING. All of the food was so good, even one of my guests, a professional chef commented that it was great. The cake was beautiful, just every venue was great and just created just the perfect day for our wedding. Krissy the assistant general manager, just created the best day for us and was so helpful and kind throughout the process. Krissy was working so hard the day of and I saw her throughout the wedding working hard, and making sure things were going off without a hitch. I so appreciated the ease that she had in setting up the venue, creating a gorgeous day, and making sure that everything went according to plan. I couldn't say enough good things about this venue and the wedding we were able to have. If you want a water-side venue with amazing views, great food, and great staff who are professional and experienced look no further!

rissy the wedding coordinator was amazing. the venue itself is absolutely gorgeous. we got so many comments that the food was the best that people have ever had at a wedding. we did the surf and the steak and lobster were both cooked perfectly. the cocktail hour outside is beautiful over looking the thimble islands and all of the boats. we did a raw bar, sushi bar and passed apps. everyone loved it! i highly recommend this venue!!

They were fully prepared and met COVID guidelines making our guests feel safe. Due to unforeseen weather, the logistics were challenging in my mind, but they were great at navigating through last minute adjustments with ease to ensure all went smoothly.
